    Correction: the wrm white is the 4000k,and the white light is 6500k. I definitely got those mixed up. Shout out to viewer 'Deep Thought' for spotting it 👍

    31:56 Candle-Mode has an automatic built in switch off timer after 30 minutes (or 60-90-120 minutes) just 3 fast CLICKS for every 30 minutes, it will indicate with a fast flash, I use it to fall asleep faster 💤 This is why i got the sofirn sc31pro just for the candle mode 😆 🔦

    Wow what a flashlight 😳 I think a flashlight with this many features should come with a way to program it to your liking via software with better display of data. There is so much to remember and some features are definetly useless for some people and useful to others.
    Thanks for the comprehensive video Sir 😊 Good night

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, there's definitely a lot to remember. I think she flashlights like this get to this point of complexity, they'd definitely benefit from having a small display similar to how some Nitecore flashlights have. Although, the more you use the light the easier it gets. You're right about some feather will never get used. Have a great week by friend

      If you are interested in the UI of this flashlight it uses what is called Anduril 2.0 and it is the most customizable flashlight UI available. Sofirn makes the SP10 Pro which is a AA/14500 sized flashlight that has all of the same features and modes as the IF25A. Andurin 2.0 isn't particular to Sofirn either, Wuurkos also make a few lights that use this interface.

    Just so you know, there’s QUITE a bit more to anduril, for instance 5 clicks while on will set manual memory, meaning it will always come on at the current brightness.
    Also 4000k is warm white, 6500k is cool white.
    A fellow on YT named “flashlight enthusiast” has a great vid on anduril UI!

    How do you know it needs charging? Does it turn red? Or just turns red when you plug it in?

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, yes, there's an LED indicator in the power on button to show that it needs charging. You can also check the battery level with a series of clicks and then depending on the flashes that come back you can see what level the battery is at. It all seems quite complicated at first but when you get your head around it, it's reasonably easy. I hope that helps

    Not a fan of the Anduril UI - just find them too complex to remember all the settings and clicks and the step down when the heat up. Proper flashaholics piece of kit. I prefer the Nebo range of lights, more straight forward for most peoples needs.

Recess the switch deep so can be easily found or have an option where the green led on the switch would stay on. But tonight I'm using it and I'm impressed, tho I'll say, ny thru nite tn4a is casts the light just as far but that's 4 double AA at 6 volts. But this will be my new every day carry. I concur. It's 100% a torch and outside of the Yous Tubes I solely refer to as such. Having tinker with the TH-cam algorithm to test out how they voice recognition works using the term 'flashlight' picks up my content and recommends it more. Google have been using TH-cam for a few years now with voice recognition. Unfortunately it's a form of bastardised language I've had to semi-adopt for the Tubes. It's a strangely necessary evil to help the channel grow. Maybe when I hit 1mil subs I'll revert back to His Highnesses English with my beautiful Moorlands accent 😆 Hope you're well buddy and having a great week so far. All my best
