GEAR I use on a daily basis:
After months of research this is the wheel I chose for my first EUC. It’s definitely not the fastest but it seems to be one of the most reliable wheels with proper engineering and ease of repair. Been absolutely loving mine so far ;)
Also, I’m getting 60-70km in a hilly area going at a decent speed. I agree with the speaker, I wish they never installed it.
After 60 miles my V10F speakers went completely silent… I tried everything. Any ideas?🤷 🙏🏼
@@Tsunseyu my Inmotion V10 won’t charge pass 90% voltage is at 82. Have any idea what’s happening?
DREISKINS101 I’m definitely not an expert but with that being said how many miles on it? Roughly how many charge cycles? The reason I ask is maybe just maybe you might have a bad cell or two.?.
@@Tsunseyu 1400 miles
I have allready 10 000km and it function as new one. Very good commuter wheel as you precised very well. It does it job, nothing exceptional. But when it does it does it well. Very good review as usual. You deserve much more than 30.000 folowers. 😍😍😍
Great assessment. My first REAL wheel as well. I'm the one who did the miserable 4600ft overheat climb with Marty. Definitely NOT for heavier (200lbs) big hill climbers. But at least it will just tilt back and not cut out or burn out. Believe me, I tried in a 115F stale heat hill climb to stress it, that thing will overheat, but will never die on you. One word... reliable.
will it work for a 300 lbs rider doing mostly flat ground asphalt?
Add begode perfomance to inmotion, and it would dominate the EUC market.
June is on the way and so the V12.... apparently it's a 16" wheel 100v with bigger battery, which would indicate performance, this could be the tesla killer.... we will see.
One of the best wheels ever made
Ehh what? You need help......
@@yeahbuddy6852 I agree with him. One of the most reliable wheels on the market. The top speed is low, yeah. But for its price definitely the best.
Thanks. Recent subscriber. Am 67 years old, have been riding scooters for years, and am now thinking about an EUC for short runs to the store, post office, ect. THIS wheel looks like one that I could handle, and I think that spec-wise, could happily do the job. Also, since it would be my FIRST wheel, I think that I may be able to learn on it a little easier.
i am 62 riding this wheel for the last 2 years (13000Km) and i like it
@@thecarl168
Did you LEARN to ride on this wheel?
@@donscott6431 i started on a small wheel (max speed 10Km/H) that i paid 200$ then i was hook i bought the V10F did up to now 13000 km on it , last october i bought a second wheel King song S18 3000Km on this one . i almost don’t use my car anymore sometimes it could be 2 weeks not using my car , i do everything with it, for Xmas i bought home a christmas’s tree 10 feet long ...
@@thecarl168
I made a conscientious decision to stop using gasoline about 25 years ago. I DO, however, use the bus It’s going to pollute whether I’m on it or not. Up until about 8 or so years ago, I walked, rode a bicycle or bus everywhere Got started with a electric wheel add-on (lead-acid battery) on my FUJI 21 speed. Got involved with e-scooters and have been here ever since. I’ve gone over the mounting of a wheel over and over in my head. This would be the first obstacle In my mind, I would put my non-dominate foot on the pedal, pushing down until the pedals were almost level and tightening my non-dominate calf muscle until the side of the wheel pressed tightly against my upper calf. Then just step up. Am I close?
@@thecarl168 any particular maintenance so far (13000km)?
Its the perfect first wheel IMO. Not too powerful, but will serve those who just enter Euc world long time before upgrading. Then it will be a good secondary wheel or can be used to teach other.
I broke my shoulder on my MSP today, my V10F is looking at me smugly
Damn :/ sending health! Hope you recover soon :)
I didn’t know u guys rode EUCs also. Is this Mark or Glen? That makes y’all even cooler. Haha
Weird... i dislocated and fractured my shoulder on my V10 2 weeks ago. Batteries were too cold and when i accelerated hard, it beeped and cut out, it stopped, and I did my flying superman impression. V10 is not looking too happy.
@@richardnixon5555 You are a super hero. I thought after my 5000 miles on v10f its impossible to cutoff it.
@@richardnixon5555 So what good are these euc's if you have now worry about cut offs because of cold temperatures?
The handle is for sure mounted 'wrong way' - reversed it will be faster to go in and out of trolley mode 🤓
Edit: I ride with it up, so in a slow bailout I can grip and save the wheel. 🙂
..and charge port will be accessed.
I don't think think that degrade of power is bad, I think that is how it should be done instead of cut-out. Here EUC SW/HW can really be improved for safety. 🤓
Great in-depth review from Adam as always 👍💪
Love your videos. My first and currently my only wheel is the Inmotion V10 and I really like it. Was going to get a V11 as the first wheel but wanted to make sure I liked riding an EUC before spending some big money. Coming from thousands of Onewheel riding miles, riding an EUC is such a cool and different experience. Very relaxing. When it's time to upgrade I'm hoping Veteran Sherman comes out with they're rumored smaller cheaper wheel this year.
Real Kuji Rolls feel about this one! I like it! Nice work!
Solid review. Love the style. Enjoy the technical bits and being concise. This content is going to get you to 50,000 and beyond!
Regarding the annoying auto bluetooth connections. There are 2. One for the controller and one for audio. If you disconnect the audio then it won’t auto connect w your phone but leave you the app connection.
Can’t wait till you get the V12 scoop! I was thinking you can brand the self balancing segments are “one ways” =)
After 8000 km on v10f. i use it for home/work rides 13km in one direction. Its a good machine, and overall I'm satisfied. But the button is garbage, pedals are piece of crap, i recommend to check if pedals are broken before every ride. And remember don't jump on this wheel (i'm serious), you would for sure break your pedals. Braking performance is mediocre. Its handles offroad very well, its very good hill climber. If you casual rider its good wheel for you. (Sorry for bad english). :)
I like this wheel, it has the best look of all wheels I know and it works very reliable, very good review about it as always, thx 👍🏼
I really like my mild-mannered v10. Unless I missed it, you can turn on and off side lights by pressing both the cut off switch and power button. I like the online diagnostic feature through the app, which makes sure everything is working properly.
Does someone know if they use Gallium Nitride in the mosfets? It seems to have became popular with smartphone chargers, but it would be pretty cool for motor controllers. They're more efficient, so they heat less and can withstand more power in the same space.
the GAN transistor are still more expensive than mosfet for the size of transistor needed for EUC it will come in the future
@17:35 you are referring to the mosfits and you state you can easily overpower it. Is this different than overpowering the wheel vs over powering the circurity? Is that what you are explaining?
It’s very good wheel I have it and I have in mind to change it for a KS16X but after all , I keep it a bit !
The guitar is back ! yeah
good one once again👌🏻if i have buy this i will stop every 5km like the v8. at below 40kmh i feel all road imperfection and my feets hurt! i can ride 15/20km straight on the tesla v2 1480wh no problems
Why?
You're the best youtuber
It's not very good as the first EUC unless you take extreme care not to drop it too often. The joints between the axle and pedal brackets are weak and can become loose. If that happens, you don't have an EUC anymore but you have a big and powerful vibrator. It's hard to fix (if you don't choose to replace the motor), so be warned. The side covers can break as well. but they can be replaced and they are not that expensive.
I love my V10F! Going to ride her today 😎👊✌️
Yo! I really enjoy your content on euc. I have the v10 and it's been through a lot. I'm ready to upgrade. What do you think is a good upgrade from the v10? I would like to get a feel for other wheels besides inmotion.
@5:10 you state, "it's not extremely easy to overpower the wheel". What do you mean by that?
I think that first rubber covered pedals are better than grip-tape. These work in every condition including snow. Rubber is very easy to clean and don't become slippery like grip-tape.
You mention a 30 amp fuse, which would be green, but in the tear down video, it's orange, 40 amps, which is really 44 amps as blade fuses are rated to run 100+ hours at 110% current rating.
What Psi do you recommend for the V10 wheel for normal street riding for a 170 pound rider? It's a real pain to fill this wheel with air.
V10F is a great wheel -- I upgraded to the MSP only because I wanted more range - otherwise the V10F did almost everything I needed it to do. The MSP feels a little better on the rougher trails but also a little harder to maneuver with the extra weight. Would have keep the V10F but I dont want to be one of those people that have a wheel for everyday of the week. I could afford to have a few wheels if I wanted it but I think it is better to have one wheel that suits most needs. Now I am looking at the V11. It has better range than the V10F, not the MSP of course , and the suspension will be a welcomed addition for
Cheers
Did you end up buying the v11?
@@Cons2911
Hi -- no, I am holding off till next year. Too busy this summer to really enjoy it. Will see what next year brings.
Cheers
@@patrickmckowen2999 alright, thanks. But 10f is good based on your exp right? I'm also considering that one as it's cheaper and seem reliable. I don't ride fast, and will probably don't mind if the range is not the best
@@Cons2911
It was a great wheel, took a beating while I learned, my friend who bought it from me is still enjoying it. But for a better wheel on the trails you might look at something with a wider tire. MSP high torque was fantastic on the trails. Good luck.
My biggest gripe is prolly the underperforming brakes. They definitely take a while to stop from high speed.
A surprising amount of torque-i used to push long rows of shopping carts on it. (Im 270lbs).
The shell is too close to the wheel- it picks up small rocks and gravel really easily(turn it off, spin the wheel to get it out.)
Extremely robust shell. The lead edges of the side panels get a little chipped in huge falls(including the one that shattered my elbow 4 months ago). It takes a licking- keeps on ticking (very old reference...smh).
Glossy finish- especially in bottom of pedals- will get scuffed. The lift switch won't work all the time (9 out of 10 times) but, overall it's a great mid range wheel!
Is it the sound in this video (min.5:12- 5:17)?
Good day, why one wheels are with rubber pedals others with grip tape with inmotion logo ?
I leave here in USA and hope to get one of these and start my journey. I have a hoverboard but I want to learn how to use one of these especially since gas is so high to get me to and from work.
You burned the mothercard Twice?
How did you replace It?
Yeah you can make a video to compare v10f and tesla👍! It's super interesting
Hi, Adam Wrong Way... I like all your EUC Review. As I also have this wheel V10F, I would like to ask what is the sound in min 5:12 - 5.17 (kind of "crack" sound) which sometimes I notice as well on mine. Any idea? Kindly sharing/advice. Thx
Take the 8 bolts that holds the motor to the frame(4 bolts on each side)loosen them then pull the motor out and push it back in and tighten the bolts. I had that noise. Hope this help, work for me
@@gogojjb is it means that I need to open up the plastic casing (do the dissambly as like changing tire) and put everything back on its place? So, the sound is seems like from untightened bolts?
I want to thank you for your EUC videos Adam! Because of your videos I ordered my 1st EUC (Gotway tesla V3). I am really looking forward to a new experience. Hopefully you will review Tesla V3 also, it looks like a bargain for the money :).
I just bought min e:D. Did buy the Z10 but no more spare parts etc.. so ill send it back once the delivery buy comes.
Das pulsierende Licht sieht nice aus... Violett is halt so gaar nicht meine Farbe... wieder mal ein super Video... bleib gsund und alles Gute homie :-) gruuuuzzzzz
Trs bonne roue même en 2021 :) .
i got this wheel for the last 2 years i run it in all weather conditions (summer and winter in Canada ) did 13000Km change one tire at 9500Km i am please very reliable
Do you have ever had problems like sound "cracking" such like in this video (min: 05:12 - 05:17). Kindly advice if any. Thanks in advance.🙏
No problem every thing ok
@@thecarl168 I wonder what is that noise (in Adam video min 05:12 - 05:17). Do you have any idea? Do you ever had such noise on your wheel?
No strange noise in my wheel
@@thecarl168 Thx,Mr.Carl
Great Vid, keep it coming!
I'm a totally new user and have selected this as my first wheel. I have to say it's tougher than anticipated. Can someone advise may be the best pedal sensitivity for a beginner? Any general tips?
Hey there! Check this out
th-cam.com/video/qW-y5RiecMc/w-d-xo.html
Try some options and select what’s best for you
What is the title of the song you played with v10f ?
Fuse is 40A :)
Does the wheel stay on the fragile plastic covers instead of pedal arms because the stand/pot is too narrow?
Only on this video. Usually it stands on the pedal hangers on a different stand
Detailed knowledge! Nice ;-)
Quick query Adam, does the trolly handle inhibbit the wheel?
The trolley is exterior mounted and can be taken off with 2 screws. It can bounce around as the clip cracks bit a piece of velcro or a simple elastic strap takes care of that. Washers can be used to tighten up the slack but may require some diy to fit them in.
Suddenly I’d like to see a “V10X” based on features of the Veteran Sherman - i.e. a wide, off-road capable wheel, longer range, more rugged design, but no suspension.
I got a used v10f that had been sitting around for about a year and a half, and the software of the wheel was completely whacked out; it would just say “please prepare” but never let you do anything with it, and the strangest part was it worked just fine for the first day
@Jordan no actually it was saying please prepare, I think meaning as in update it. It worked absolutely perfectly until that point
@Jordan lmao
will you review the Begode Monster Pro 24"?
I will
After so much research about portable with a good range electric scooters out of nowhere i found a video about pros about having a unicycle, and i thought, what the hell is this? And after that i watched so many videos about it from you and finally v10f is on his way.. here in portugal i never saw unicycles
Charging with solar power?
If it wasn't for the stupid trolley handle design that undoubtedly breaks on first crash I'd get this as a starter wheel for sure.
What tire pressure do you recomend?
Watch the video. He answered to this question 😁
This or step up to s18 / v11?

10/10 review
It’s a gentleman’s wheel.🙂
Ty masz wprawe na tym jednym kułku,ale kilometrów to masz narobione.Pozdrowienia z pomorza
I really enjoy and benefit from your content 🙏🏼⚡️🔋If I could solicit your expert opinion? I recently bought a fully operational V10F with .02 miles on it and 60miles later the speakers went silent on it. I tried everything I can think of and asked Inmotion for support where I’m currently nervously waiting to hopefully get some advice and support, tbd. Depending on how the support goes I may opt out of my V12 preorder and go with the competition. I love my V10F and V11 and really hope Inmotion pulls through on this one. Does anyone have tips or advice? I don’t feel the wheel is safe to ride until I can get a beep working again as I discovered the issue after being tilted off because of no audible beep, very scary and resulted in a scratched up wheel 🤦😕Does anyone know how or if I can fix this or use secondary Bluetooth speaker? I enjoy the V10F but want to do so more safely as it was intended. I heard it could be an amplifier issue but 🤷 Any consideration appreciated in advance 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I just bought a lighter with crazy loud beep, and it works great. Internal beep sound causing by phone app isnt really comfortable to use, unlike of analog button on my bag on the shoulder.
V10f or mcm5 for beginner?
Up for this
Next review gonna be about Inmotion V3 ?
Inmotion v3 is already on the channel
Awesome video!
Now Tesla XD
You can propably go at least 10km with 5%. I would like to have bigger batter in my V10..
Not exactly sure what the point of a lock feature is on something that's light enough for someone to just pick up and walk away 🧐
I miss this style of wheel. It's 2023 and the only quality wheel left is the Sherman.
Agree! And KS18XL :)
I ride my electrical skateboard drunk all the time. Can i ride this thing drunk? Thanks for a great video. Much appreciated.

that just needs a tow hitch and trailer to go to grocery store
The mhj's battery will loose their capacity very quickly. I can't recommend them.
i got 13000 km in the last 2 years i still do the announced range !
@@thecarl168 maybe you don't charge at the maximum recommended amperage and up to 4.25 v with a recuberating vehicle. Maybe it was my vault, or the soldering. They degraded very quick and get very hot now.
First charging over 4.2V is a NO GO even the 50mv over the 4.2 v will affect the life of the cell . Charging at max current allows by the manufacturer is not a good thing if you want a good life if the battery. Charging at hi current make the cell hot and hi temperature degrade the cell . Did you spot weld the cell ? Or soldered them , if you soldered them it is prohibited by any cell manufacturer
@@thecarl168 any particular maintenance by far (13000 km)?

30,000 is 1,000 times more than 30.000
Yes please. Decimal dot, not comma. In university in Spain they force me to use the decimal comma, and it's an unnecessary mess
@@rubenayla I'm pro-comma! Get that decimal-dot outta here!
@@juliusnewman2094 Hmm every programming language I have seen uses a decimal dot. I'm willing to change, but this should be standardized.
