- A heartbroken Wisconsin father says he can't forgive the 10-year-old girl accused of stomping on his baby boy's head. Nate Liedl is speaking out for the first time since the death of his 6-month-old son Jaxon. “As opposed to seeing it as a 10-year-old girl, I see it as the person who killed my son. She deserved to be in handcuffs. She's a criminal,” he told KTRK in an interview published Monday. The 10-year-old appeared in court, charged with first-degree murder as an adult. #InsideEdition

Having said as much, I think I could personally only "forgive" her in as much as I'd accept her as a dud in the gene pool. What's more, the thought that she could someday live outside of monitored custody would deeply overshadow that miniscule concession...

I highly doubt he knew she had behavioral issues. I do feel 10 years old is too young to be left alone with a baby though. I'm sure since she was at the nursery all the time that made him feel better about her watching his child but no way would I let a 10 year old do that but I mean I was baby sitting at 12 so ya know.

My daughter is 11 and I can’t imagine her doing this. I’m not accepting behaviour issues as they still know right from wrong and that’s coming from a mother who’s eldest child had behaviour issues. The girl needs to be held accountable and it has to be done now with major work if she’s going to have any future. This made me think of little James Bulger in the uk , a toddler who was taken and murdered by two ten year old boys. I don’t recommend any person read what this two boys did to little James as you will truly have nightmares.

I think she probably just grabbed the kid, if she really did have mental problems no adult would trust her to watch a baby, if my suggestion is true I fear that girl probably did it on purpose but thought she would face no real consequence because she’s a child. She’s at that age where she’ll do something sneaky and tries to be careful to try and get away with it, I know because I’m going through that with my lil sis who’s 9, it’s just small stuff but I’m trying to get her out of that bad habit of being sneaky and lying to me and my parents like me and my other sister did at that age.

It was a shocking and horrific case, and nobody in England felt any sympathy for either of them. The knew what they were doing, so did she. If in either case the perpetrator hadn’t wanted to hurt their victim, the could’ve sought help elsewhere. In both cases it was a choice to take the child’s life.

I was 10 when my parents left me alone to take care of my baby brother, he was less than 6 months. My mom was sick at hospital and dad had to work but I knew very well how gentle I had to be with him. Even if he cried very long time my mom said it’s better to close the door and calm down in a separate room than be angry to such a little baby. She knew very well what she was doing.

I hope the father finds the strength to take Human Services, child licensing and the professional adults that were supposedly monitoring this home to court. May they all be held responsible, terminated and lose professional licenses. This should have never happened.
First of all if she has emotional issues, who let her hold the child? This should have never happened. I feel so bad for the father.
I believe it was not just the emotional issues that should have stopped her from being allowed to hold him, most licensed properly managed daycare facilities wouldn’t allow any child to hold the infants for the exact reason that they could be dropped. My sons daycare facility had this rule in place and enforced it. I arrived to pick him up and a nine year old girl was crying telling me the provider wouldn’t let her hold him, I was empathetic, but I was also glad for the rule.

I want to put some blame on the foster mom for allowing access to the baby that she took responsibility for, but more details need to be known. Sometimes the placing agency does not give the foster parents the who story or they don't know the whole story. Some do not get the children the appropriate help they need fast enough or at all.

Exactly. They say oh she is only ten still a child but that girl stomped on the bay until he died. She is uncurable of whatever issues she has and they r only gonna grow bigger. But coz its not their children who died they can take the high road.
Probably going to give her a lighter sentence too, cause she's a girl ... but she does need to spend some time in jail to mature, a couple of years at least and then a couple years of supervision.

I almost stabbed my bully to death at 10 but he was a bully. I knew it was murder but I thought they didn't charge kids, He outran me that's why I'm free. Had he been slow I'd be in prison and traumatized because I didn't understand the consequences at 10. I didn't like babies at that age so I chose not to be around them. She definitely has issues though to kill a baby, but she might not have understood the severity.

The only people responsible for this is CPS. They placed a child with a history of severe emotional and behavioral problems in a foster home that also ran a daycare.. thats extreme negligence. The child needs to be hospitalized, the CPS caseworker should be in jail.

He doesn't ever have to forgive her, that's his pain and his grief and no one can ever tell another person how to feel and heal.

Praying for the poor 10 year old girl to heal. The father's immature hatred of another child won't bring his own back. This isn't a murderer, this is a disturbed child who panicked in a bad situation. Whoever let this damaged child have access to the baby is who should've been held most accountable.
