धैचा एक कोशे बाली(हरियो मल) हो। यसले बातावरणमा भएको नाइट्रोजनलाइ माटोमा मिलाइ बोटबिरुवाहरुलाइ पूर्ती गर्ने गर्दछ। यसमा २.८७% नाइट्रोजन, ०.२२% फस्फोरस र १.०७% पोटासियम हुन्छ। त्यसैले धान रोप्नु अगाडि धैचा बाली लगाउदा धेरै नै फाइदा हुन्छ (रासायनीक युरीया मलको प्रयोगमा कमी)।
