Honestly, randomly saw in recommended, didn't expect much, but this is genuinely good video, high energy from the presentation, nicely structured and with understanding on the topic, damn
For the DBZ Warrior mod, the Semi perfect, Perfect etc... forms for the Cell subclass are passives that raise your stats by a ton when you level up. They are permanent, and you can't detransform much like cell can't go back to semi perfect form and such.
I did a run with 4 modded classes, both WoW Deathknight and Demon Hunter, Warlock Dread Overlord and Harlequin. First 3 mentioned absolutely left Harlequin in the dust with the sheer amount of AoE, Action economy and synergy they had with one another essentially turning the copious amounts of summons from the dread overlord into ticking time-bombs of DoTs and never stopped the spread of the scourge
Videos like this inspire me to work on my class/sub-class mods secure in the knowledge that it will be seen and tried out by at least *some* folks. Though making (balanced) classes from scratch is a bit of a bitch and a half to do 💀 To that end, videos like this are also super helpful in understanding what people are looking for and what folks like about other mods! So thanks x2 for the good work!
Thank you, that's very sweet of you! If you ever get around to doing your mod, please do send it my way, I'd love to try it! If you're worried about balancing, maybe take a look at guidelines people use when homebrewing for dnd 5e. It's different from bg3, but a lot of the same core concepts do apply.
@JazzyCee I mean... it's Hisoka's Nen ability. It's basically his life energy that he transforms to have such properties. So, it's not exactly chewable. Plus, it's also a inside joke of the HxH fandom to mention that Bungee Gum has the properties of both Rubber and Gum because Bungee Gum does have the properties of both Rubber and Gum, because remember, Bungee Gum has the properties of both Rubber and Gum
If you do make another video about classes, I would suggest looking into the relatively recent Mistborn mod ! It's not broken, has very interesting completely new spells, and is lore accurate from the Mistborn books. It's my favourite class mod for bg3, and i'd say it surpasses famous homebrew classes like red mage due to it's balance and interesting lore.
Artificer is absolutely broken. At least the artillerist. You can actually put an attached cannon to everyone if your companions bows. Meaning everyone gets an extra 1 d6 force msg applied to range shots. 2 shots at lvl 2. Plus all the ritual spells (feather fall, jump, long strider) it’s crazy. Also mystic with the way of the blade subclass makes the game a breeze)
Thank you, and yes! Current plans are: finish editing the script for all mods before, get the Fallout London Video deep dive done, try my hand at a short quest mod with the unlocked tools, then go back and review some of the best mods that came out from the modding tools.
A shame so many of these are long abandoned or dont work with level 20 mods. Dimensional Traveller is one of my favourite for Gale, its simultaneously broken to shit but also balanced because of the absolutely wild "wild magic" it has and magic disintegration
Yeah, it does suck. Though, I still lhave hope some of these might be picked up but other modders or maybe are in the process of being updated. (Copium) Still, even if out of date, it would be a shame to forget the work those modders did regardless, hence the video.
not gonna lie gunslinger mod would be sick

Aww, thank you! It's nice to know the work is appreciated!

Oh my god, that's true! I literally read that and forgot, goddamnit! Welp, glad to see they are in the game anyways, thank you!
Some brat with spiked golden hair: "Allow me to introduce those hands"

DBZ and Articifer both look like a fun time. Great video bro.
Thank you

18:50 Did you know that Bungee Gum has the properties of both Rubber and Gum?
Sounds chewy

Nice, I'll check it out in the future, for sure!
He may not know HxH but at least can recognize a banger character theme
1:00 well, Mutants and Masterminds DOES exist
I was more referring to video games. Something like Midnight Suns, for example.
The artificer is probably the best balanced one of the bunch.
Oh, for sure! Anyone playing with most of these should probably up the difficulty.
What about Blood Sorc?

THE EYE OF THE TIGER
lets go time to goon
Hey, whatever floats your boat.
Are you edgy? Yes 😊
Do you wanna be edgier? .....uhmmm yes?
Great video any plans for patch 7 version of all your mod videos? Or anything on patch 7 mods

If you want a great jump distance I would use the sun king mod armor. The feather fall Necklace and boots are the best I have seen.
Anyone got list of BALANCED mods , for tactical + difficulty??? I hate mods that make u OP and im not interested in them at all.
Your best bet is checking out the mentioned adaptations of the classes and subclasses from the books.
no mention of the extremely underrated void born mod.. 😭 i get it, its not "new" but its still great.
Hey, I'll do a video in the future about the newer mods, so now that on is noted down, thank you!
An index for classes and minutes could be nice :(
I forgot to put the links in the description like I did for the other videos, oopsie poopsie. Sorry about that.
