Could you also give an updated review of those blushes? I honestly couldn’t tell if you liked either one. You covered up the Hard Candy blush with the Elf blush. But the finished look looks like you used a completely different blush because your cheeks had more luminosity than when you had the ELF blush on. I purchased the ELF foundation after watching this because I had $8 discount on my ELF account. Would love an update on the foundation and both blushes. Thanks!!
The ingredients are VERY VERY VEEEEERRRRRY similar to the elf flawless foundation in the glass pump. The main differences come at the end of the ingredients list where they have extract like hibiscus and blueberry. Just a little info for those interested.
I like ELF's OG satin foundation and when I saw this new one, I wondered if they will replace the old version with this new one. I hope not, I just bought a second bottle of the OG hoping to have it for a while if they do discontinue it. But interested in trying the new one!
I use the bisque flawless elf foundation and according to elf I should use 21 on this foundation I bought 25 and that was lighter than the bisque . I returned it and got 30 which is a better color the colors on their website are confusing
I love that Essence brown mascara! It reminds me of the Undone Beauty brown mascara, but with a plastic wand rather than a bristle brush. Very very natural lashes and beautiful! I just found it stings a little bit when removing it at the end of the day.
I remember thinking elf would do this based on a video of yours last year and was so stoked to see this. Basically the existing foundation without a scent and marketed like a modern product./
the second I saw the new ELF foundation it reminded me of 2014/2015(ish) Pro Matte foundation from L’Oreal that I loved before I went cruelty free! That foundation was a superb shade match for me, can’t wait to try the texture & check the shade of the ELF foundation in person when it’s launched in the EU 🤩
I have that Elf blush shade but if you want a less orangey peach, they do have another shade thatvis my favorite. It's called Always Punchy and it's one of my favorite shades for brightening up the face. And it's a true long lasting formula.

I found out about it because I came across the video of a lady where she reviewed Elf's Primer infused blushes. Always Punchy was one of the shades she talked about in her video. She was probably one of the first people who talked about those blushes. Anyways, about a year ago, I ordered a couple more from Elf because something told me they would eventually discontinue that shade. I have something else that is extremely similar and you can find it at walmart. It's become another favorite of mine. It's from LA colors and it's their ombre blush in the shade Sunset Chic. That has some of the orangey shade of Almost cheeky but it also has the pink of Almost Punchy. It's a beautiful shade.
I am interested in trying ELF's new foundation. All their other foundations/BB creams have chemical sunscreen in them and I can't use it since chemical sunscreens burn my face. So happy this one does not have SPF. Also would like to see some cool-toned blushes for fair skin. I only have one and want to try other shades that would look good on my fair/light cool skin.

They basically updated the formula and put it in new packaging. I couldn't use the original because of the fragrance but it was original a dupe for YSL Touché Eclat but it might be more like Luminous Silk or Laura Mercier. I'm an icon too it's always the end of the year orders lol. ELF has so many new launches I can't keep up lol.
The new elf foundation’s packaging is reminding me of a make up for ever foundation that launched a few years ago. I think it is called the matte velvet skin, I wonder if that would be something similar 😂

Just a tip from an avid E.L.F fan, if it says rosy- it's muted pinkish/terracotta, if it says peach, it's a paleish peach and if it says mauve- it's a muted mauvish, IMO.
Fair/light neutral gal here. That Catrice oil STAINS my lips HOT PINK. Was really not expecting that levels of pigmentation. But truly, the color lasted 24hrs???!?!l and I wouldn’t say it was the most flattering hue.
I enjoyed seeing that Trendmood post for that foundation and all the foundations they were thinking it was duping. I was thinking Sheer Glow by Nars or Armani Luminous silk or Hourglass Ambient Soft glow.
I used to love buying from the elf website when I lived in the UK. It was pretty quick to get to me and I always got some nice free gifts. Now I live in Portugal and elf don't deliver here and you can't seem to get it in any stores here either 😢

I just picked up shade 11 at Walmart today. They even had the new bronzing drops as well. If I had to say this might resemble the Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow foundation.
I bought this as soon as it was released too! When I got it, I thought it might be too light for me too, but turned out the shade I got 11 Fair Neutral, is a pretty good match! I'm so glad this one doesn't have fragrance because their other foundation is really nice, but the perfumey smell gives me a headache. I just saw that they dropped an SPF lip gloss a couple days after I received this which bummed me out because I don't want to place another order! LOL And yes, I LOVE Elf's reward program! It's so, so good! I get $$ off and/or free products and free shipping with every order! I highly recommend.
That’s funny, my first thought about the Soft Glam foundation wasn’t that it was a dupe, but rather that it was a rebrand of their satin foundation in that little square bottle, the $6 one. 🙂
Yes, totally, that's exactly what I was thinking. The old one in the square bottle is SATIN finish like this new one. But the old one has too strong of a scent. I don't know if this new Soft Glam one is scented.

Based on the colorscheme of the packaging and the official descriptions of the formula/coverage/finish, I think that the new e.l.f. foundation is at least inspired by the IT Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow Foundation. It’s not an exact or even close dupe - as it doesn’t have the “Glow Serum”, sunscreen, or niacinamide elements, and the packaging is a lot more basic - which is probably why it doesn’t cost as much.

I tried the ELF Soft Glam. It kind of reminded me of Too Faced Born This Way. When I first put it on, it seemed really yellow. But when it set down it evened my skin tone. Born This Way does the same thing. I did not compare ingredients, though. I have not (yet) experienced any breakouts, but I will keep watch for that. That seems to be a common complaint for this product.

14:30 I have this pallet and I have no idea how to use it. I think it’s because of the brushes I have I’m not sure tbh. However the only reason I bought it was to practice my eyeshadow but now I actually want to be able to use it. However some of the shades I can’t get them to blend out?
e.l.f. has been very transparent about the fact that duping is their main strategy. Nobody is saying it "has to" be a dupe, but there's a good reason whenever they have a new product people are wondering if it is.
I like the foundation formula but I bought shade light neutral 21 and it’s kinda orangey on me but I have olive undertones. Even with a bunch of green mixer it’s barely wearable. 😭 I love it on you though it looks so good.
Hey guys it’s Bare Minerals in either Pink Me Up or Call My Blush but I believe she’s just not doing the constant consumerism thing by not mentioning what it is. You can achieve this using your personal color theory.
When companies have their products in other stores, they lower the profit margin for the deal that it will be more excessible to wider customers. But when they sell on their site they eliminate the middle guy, thus higher profit margin. One other aspect is Walmart, it is the only retailer in the world who dectates the sell price and if a company doesn't agree, they refuse to sell the product.

I got one of the primer Infuse blush and it didn’t do anything for me. I did 6 layers and nothing for me. It was the color always rosy. It was so pretty in the pan but my skin was too dark for it. I was so sad.

Regarding the Elf foundation, I was thinking of that NARS soft matte blurring foundation that comes in the like squeeze tube!
Armani Luminous Silk, that was the foundation dupe that came to mind. It's certainly very pretty on you!

I wish catrice had that lip oil in a non-ph adjusting formula. I love this lip oil but they all look hot pink on me and I’m not in to hot pink lips.

14:30 I have this pallet and I have no idea how to use it. I think it’s because of the brushes I have I’m not sure tbh. However the only reason I bought it was to practice my eyeshadow but now I actually want to be able to use it. However some of the shades I can’t get them to blend out?

e.l.f. has been very transparent about the fact that duping is their main strategy. Nobody is saying it "has to" be a dupe, but there's a good reason whenever they have a new product people are wondering if it is.
I like the foundation formula but I bought shade light neutral 21 and it’s kinda orangey on me but I have olive undertones. Even with a bunch of green mixer it’s barely wearable. 😭 I love it on you though it looks so good.

When companies have their products in other stores, they lower the profit margin for the deal that it will be more excessible to wider customers. But when they sell on their site they eliminate the middle guy, thus higher profit margin.
One other aspect is Walmart, it is the only retailer in the world who dectates the sell price and if a company doesn't agree, they refuse to sell the product.

I found mine in Walmart! I've seen others say that too. And my Walmart never has nothing. Like I literally seen this foundation was coming out ,I was so excited! I was going to Walmart to get other stuff, I didn't expect them to have it. And then I see a fully stocked shelf with all this new elf s*** and my jaw hit the floor and I'm like oh my God kids sorry Mama's got to get some elf makeup!!! 🤯😊

I got one of the primer Infuse blush and it didn’t do anything for me. I did 6 layers and nothing for me. It was the color always rosy. It was so pretty in the pan but my skin was too dark for it. I was so sad.
