Darth Sidious is my absolute favorite character from any franchise ever. There is no villain in cinematic history as manipulative, brilliant, evil, heartless, malevolent and powerful as Darth Sidious. I even have a poster of Sidious using force lightning. This was an amazing tribute video.

Sidious is truly an underrated character and in my opinion the best villain of all time. Without him, none of the Star Wars trilogies wouldn't make sense.

I love that Sifious is just evil incarnate. None of the trend of "Oh the villain needs to be relatable and sympathized with" that every villain seems to have now a days. Sidious was born bad. He is cunning. He was evil. He is power.

Of all the villains across all of humanities fictions, few, if any, can match Darth Sidious in scope, scale, or power. Few have ever so completely won or utterly defeated their enemies as he. And none have been so utterly irredeemable and devoid of light.

This was a Fantastic tribute for My Third Favorite Antagonist in Star Wars. Ian Mcdiarmid did a Phenomenal Performance making Darth Sidious into one of The Best Villains in Cinematic History. Even Though The Sequel Trilogy weren’t The Best Star Wars Films but Ian Mcdiarmid’s Return as Darth Sidious was absolutely Well Done and I’m also happy got the chance to voice Palpatine in Star Wars Rebels, Tales of The Jedi and The Bad Batch.

Sidious shot himself in the foot in Rise of Skywalker by announcing his return to the galaxy; the general public were prepared to sit back and let the First Order trample them, but the prospect of another period of the Emperor's reign galvanised them to join Lando's fleet at Exegol launching a pre-emptive strike against the tyrant.

That line, imo, has more to do with Rey than Palpatine so that's why it's not in here.
Agree to disagree. I think its key to his character because it really points out the difference between Sidious and Vader. Vader was still a good person deep down and he proved it by saving Luke. That line is basically Sidious saying "yeah I'm pure evil and you're pretty much screwed."

Darts Sidious is perhaps the best villain in the history of fiction, the combination of pure evil and cunning and him completing the goal of the sith, he won, he took over the galaxy. And it wasn’t with fire and blood, it was with deception, manipulation, and cunning. He his the Ultimate villain.

He was born a nobleman of Naboo, but he became so much more. He became a senator and then a chancellor, and then emperor, but he was always more. He was darkness and malevolence given shape and was only stopped by the direct creation of The Force. He was never Sheev Palpatine. He was born Darth Sidious, the dark side personified.
He is the only villain that won and GOT AWAY with it. George made a excellent character and a great villain

It has often been said that Darth Vader is the most evil villain in cinematic history. Those people haven't looked closely enough, they haven't seen the one controlling the strings attached to Vader. Palpatine is the ultimate puppet master and the ultimate movie villain in history.

The way you add subtitles is really awesome it's not in some overpowering way to make it seem like it should be distracting from the footage. You add it in a way that those who need subtitles for all the many reasons they need it is very familiar, and those who don't normally use subtitles can't quite ignore, but get a better experience from having. Love it.

I'm just going through watching all of your videos, and yours by far have one thing that stands out above all the rest of the tribute type videos I see on TH-cam. Your videos always flow perfectly. I don't ever see hard cuts from moment to moment, or sections that don't flow smoothly. You have an amazing talent for creating these videos, and I can't wait to see more from you. What's truly shocking to me is that your videos haven't been seen more than they have. I have no doubt that if you keep doing what you're doing then your page is going to explode at some point! I'd love to see a Leia video, especially once the Kenobi series is done! I've never seen one made of her before. My excitement over the possibilities of a new Vader, Kenobi, or Skywalker video with all the new footage is through the roof!

I enjoy a good love story
So i want to try on-screen subtitles, can i do it on premiere pro? Could you maybe make a tutorial?
Yeah you can do it in Premiere. Unfortunately I'm not really one to make tutorials - don't want to use my voice and I'm generally very messy when it comes to explaining stuff so it wouldn't be that helpful anyways.
It's pretty straight forward though, I just use the 'Type Tool' to write out the subtitles and I then fade them in and out at the correct times according to the lines of dialogue. It takes some trial and error to get the timing right with how long they should stay on screen, if you go back to my older videos and compare them to this one you'll notice the subtitles have improved quite a bit so if you don't get them just right on the first video I wouldn't worry.
Lastly, I've found that adding them becomes much easier & quicker if you set up at least three video layers just for the subtitles so you're not working with too tight a space to fit them in.
