Brother, there seems to be a few inches left of leg room in your booth, you need more equipment in there. All seriousness though, you clearly have passion for the hobby. I don't have my license yet (test anxiety), but I'm now in the process of building my dream radio with a little cheating from SDR's and Raspberry Pi's.
Hi John. Yes, I can sit on a stool and reach just about everything by swiveling around(!). I have a couple of SDR's (in a drawer) - interesting, and not bad performing receivers, but not a lot of fun for me (don't glow!)
@@RadioRestoration I get it. I was the generation that got to see both hardware design and software. There was art to the old tech, even when it got to boards full of logic gates. But the new stuff, you can't deny it... it packs an awful lot of capability into a tiny little device.
@@johnsky7835 True, and I don't deny it, but my 'kicks' these days (and for a very long time) are from the journey, not necessarily the destination....
