I know you have the mod to build outside of settlement borders, and i had this idea: go to hangmans alley and make the road leading up to diamond city a sort of suburb; In lore it would work because Diamond City doesn't allow ghouls or synths inside, making it a mini settlement outside of the city for those rejected entry.

This is by far my most favorite settlement build! I love building my own settlements as opposed to downloading a player-home mod, and you sir are my ultimate inspiration! I love the use of the horizontal beams for filling gaps and making it al together a smoother build. You're a master!
Conquest is awesome, especially combined with Mobile Workshop, bc you can use MW to scrap debris from any building first to see it’s settlement potential without having to have the materials to set up a permanent Conquest Workshop (since the temporary campsite version won’t actually let you scrap). My favorite place thus far for Conquest is Kendall Hospital because it’s a huge obstacle course & really fun to build onto.
I always enjoy watching you build, man. Almost looks like a hidden Bethesda bunker. Loved the verticality of it and how you kept going up. Also loved how you opened the door. This mod looks awesome. Kind of makes me wonder what this building was before the war. I really hope that by the time a new Fallout comes this building mechanic will not only stay, but also be enhanced.

I wouldn't of thought of that. Great job! Here's an idea I'm sure you would enjoy doing, you could try expanding diamond city. I did that on my game with help from the "Spawn items and more" mod by: Warzline. Which allows you to drop a workbench anywhere you want and build. It also includes ALOT of helpful applications like spawning settlers to populate places or spawning an NPC with every item in the game. Amazing mod I highly recommend it. Been using it since day 1.

As I recall, in the first concepts, the "Main City" (still not "Diamond") of the game was a populated skyscraper. But this idea was scrapped - I think it was because they saw how horrible their Distant LOD is looking (compare it with Dying Light, for example).
i think he did it to stretch out the video because if you pay attention you will notice that he walks really slow the whole tour not hating on him for doing it i'm just saying
There was a lot of potential for Bethesda to but a workshop settlement in the Financial District. Imagine having a workbench in one those skyscrapers. Players would get really creative.

This is an awesome build, I've come back to it several times. I do have a question though, have you thought about expanding it into something like a Post Apocalyptic Apartment Complex, using the floor spaces that the building already provides above & below your original build?

It's kinda meh though. Sony really seems to have issues with mods, after the Crazy Planes Virus I can kind of understand, along with the fact that consoles are rather well known for their security and mods creates a breech in their defenses. But truthfully Sony's lack of acceptance is without a doubt going to be problematic further down the line if they unwisely decide to keep it up.
builder6039 now that you mention it, Sony has had a ton of security issues. it just makes sense that they'd be apprehensive about allowed external assets into the game. hopefully they'll find a workaround to make external assets sage and usable without risk of hacks.

You prob already know about this mod I'm going to mention. So I watched your sniper boat shack settlement...? and specifically you swimming to it. I was reminded of a mod I seen before that lets you build drivable boats. I thought that would be perfect. Have a drivable boat docked at Kingsport, for when you want to chill out at your boat settlement. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the mod. Although it might actually just be "Drivable Boats" 🤷
You could "decorate" the cage with a gun and a chair (and maybe a dead body) which could make it look like anyone who fell down there had 2 options: starve or end it.

I always wondered why Bethesda never made any ingame skyscraper settlements. For the player to interact with. I know in the concept art for the game, they had a skyscraper city. But I digress... My point is, it always bugged me that they never did that.
