Dude I just played the mission for the first time. Did everything the first time without getting spotted or killed. Then literally as soon as I hit the checkpoint in the chopper a missile destroys my chopper. I'm talking literal milliseconds. This mission was actually fun until that part. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't make you start halfway over again. Not to mention all the bugs with the DLC missions in general.
I got so lucky ! I managed to sweep the whole compound undetected and thought I was screwed if I didn’t find the generator for the Sam guns . Glad you don’t need to and I did it on the second try after failing the part where the unidad choppers come out. Sync shots for the win .

I always fail at dropping the truck in the quarry, the truck reffuses to drive in a straight line - even in the regular street. But great walthrough, I learned a lot.
I did this mission years ago and I just found the game again and I wanted to do this mission I remember just failing it 1000 times so thanks for reminding me of it again and what it’s called
Brilliant tutorial! These two missions were, for me, the hardest in the whole game. I completed the main story line but these Silent Spade missions were very tough. Now I have completed both thanks to your advice. The equipment reward you get after these missions is definitely worth the stress! Thanks.

First 2 tries I could not get a lock on attacking choppers. Taking out the first one, the Cobra with rockets, made all the difference. I didn't know that you'd get tone/missile lock even though your enemy was directly under you. Once I saw that happen in the video, I knew I'd finally finish this mission. I had maxxed vehicle armor in my upgrades so it was going to take a long time for the bullet choppers to knock me down.
your skills are really good - I switched to classic helicopter to prep for this - new player just about a month on PS4 and almost done all the missions, did Sam Fisher and Caveira Rainbox Six and Walker/Oracle. The thing on this one as you aptly demonstrate, making it easy - you HAVE to kill - and you HAVE to kill on the first shot. I bungled this with my pistol - I need to maybe get a better handle on using silencer pistol at range - I've got the steady aim max etc - but wow - you make ping'ing them off in the Condor base easy. You really know your bullet drop on the sniper rifles at range as well. Smart move to recon from the sniper tower like that after Kozak meetup - guess binocular recon too could help if careful not to get spotted. Hitting the genny closest I thought would tip off the guy... again sometimes the NPC's don't see what you'd expect them to - and see what you'd NOT expect them too! Great walkthru's!
While this first galf helped me out alot! The second half i struggled but finally got it. What i did was constantly called rebels and freed them took a helicopter and just mowed everyone down till the end
If you don't mind cheesing the last part with disarming the bomb then just request a rocket helicopter to go to the location and don't even bother landing. Just clear the area with rockets and with fire support from your teammates. When enemy vehicles start coming blow them away. If it is infantry you can leave your team to deal with them to avoid civilian casualties. Just don't shoot rockets too close to the guy disarming the bomb

Personally, I use the crossbow and the BFG with sync shot for the base. I then take the most direct route to the generator and as soon as that's down, take out the guys nearest the Heli and fly off. I don't bother with the SAMs and just fly low instead, then past that do the exact same as you. In snafu, I used the SR-25 Jungle as it still one shots vehicles since it's glitched and the TAR-21. I stayed by the bomb and just took them out as they came just so as soon as the timer started, I could get straight into the van
Wow, WOW! I hope to be as good as you someday man. I'm a bit rusty after only playing GR: Future Soldier once and there's alot of new tricks for me to learn but this walkthrough was Epic to say the least I loved it! 👍👍👏
In regards with the helicopters, you don't necessarily need to take them all down. Once you reach the last checkpoint and that Unidad level warning sounds off, move towards the right side (forward + right, use mouse if you are on PC) while ascending. Once you reach altitude of 700 meters or above, the Unidad forces will give up the chase. Anyway I only did this for Extreme difficulty and no HUD.
Abel Ingaw that’s true, you can do that, but you have to make sure you immediately get to the safe house after you talk with Scott Mitchel, because if you hang out in the runway for too long the helicopters will show up again. I found that out the hard way once lol
I just got to this mission. I fail it everything before I reach the compound. I'm not sure if it's a bug. I've only made it in the wall once. I get busted as soon as I jump off the cliff.
@@moss1873 As mentioned in another comment you have to do the mission for this area first, that way you will clear some enemies that seem to interfere with this mission. When I did that, it was eady peasy

That would be nice, but I tell you what, the support I’ve had so far is incredibly humbling. I never expected to get this much support when I first streamed my Operation Watchman guide.
I learned to get as close as I can and use the drone to take out the snipers, sneak my way into the base from the opening in the fence and turn the power off. Then use the drone to pick enemies off when alone or far away enough from the others. THEN I will start the mission. Even if it is already started, I will still kill them all.
I was able to finish this all with 1 run except for the last part where you have to defend the bomb. You could just park the helicopter uranium beside the river, get out then shoot the enemy helicopters with your assault rifle or machine gun :D
I discovered another way to do the heli part. but first, thx for your video. Nice explained. ... The Camp was no problem for me, but the heli part wasa like hell. Instant dead, when coming out of the canyon. i used to escape, when flying hard right with the nose down on the ground, but then the game told me to get back to operation side and mission failed after a few seconds. .... i tried hard for an hour, even with fighting the others, but got no chance cause i didnt know, how to use AA missiles........ finally i managed to finish the heli part: just dont fly out of the canyon. thats it. i stoped a few 100 meters before the last mission point, where the scipt starts. turned my back to it and flew slowly backwards. i wanted to kill the guy that spawns in my back. but when doing so, none of them spotted me and i could flew back into the canyon and with status "chased". after a few seconds unidad lost me and i could flew out of the canyon with no more helis out there. ..... ok, thats not how it should be played, but it saved my last nerves! ;D

@@holliemccluskey4183 I’ve not figured it out as of yet. I have a theory: I’ve not yet finished the mission for that region where you take out the boss. That boss happens to be in that base. I’m going to finish the region, maybe do a mission or two in a different area, then come back and see if that helps. I feel that having two different objectives in the same base at the same time is causing problems.
Best piece of advice for everyone getting killed by the helicopters is to land your helicopter as soon as the Unidad patrol is onto you and then lay down and hide in a bush. They will lose you really quick then you can fly the helicopter to the final checkpoint. Sam missiles will still shoot you down after so make sure to fly low the rest of the way.
Great help for the first two bits. After watching the third section I realized that I was under-equipped. So I stormed in with a grenade launcher attachment, stayed on the ground, called in rebel support, blew up all the cars and high-tailed it. Completed first time. Good idea to run the clock down before reaching the bomb area - maybe less time for baddies to spawn? Worked for me.
I had to switch to HTI for the damage/less drop - still not able to take out the far genny from the sniper tower. You have to take out near the genny while the guy attending it takes his second position more to the gas station - and shoot thru the fence, low into the side like Penguin does - otherwise the shot is taken as "direct fire" and mission fail via detection - I found pistol work here much easier done over the shoulder rather than ADS
This helped me a lot, so thanks for that. But seriously fuck these missions that set you back like 5-10 minutes of walking/travel when you fail. There should be a checkpoint when I get into the helicopter. I don't want to replay the part I already beat ten times just so missiles can shoot me down the moment I take off. Complete disrespect for players time. This shit shouldn't still be a thing in video games.
I cleared the base and cleared all the Sam's (3@airport, 1@base, 1@ 200 m left of where you begin to fly down in the canyon) and STILL hit by missile. Haven't gone back since. But will, just doing other stuff.
There's a ton of Sam's not even in the base. When I did it I didn't even bother to destroy them. I used the crossbow and sync shot, destroyed the generator and then just flew SUPER low, like almost touching the ground.
I know right, I did the exact same thing after being shot down 3x, I could see where all the sams were lol After destroying all of them, I felt so confident that I’d be able to just get into the chopper and fly... Boy, as soon as I took off, rockets everywhere!! I was like WTF!!! 🤣
The thing that got me in the end with this game was the ‘start all over trial and error’ missions. No tjekpoint saves or nothing. It got super tedious in the end and killed it for me. Cool sandbox though. Omg and don’t me started on calling in vehicles. Fuck me. Blood pressure through the roof. 😅🤯
Man I'm so good at stealth that I killed everyone at the airport and flew out of there like a fucking boss. And when Unidad chased me with helicopters I just landed the chopper and hid in the bushes and that was it.
life saver, I didn't play this for maybe a year because of this mission and one where you had to protect and dumb AI that kept running into the enemy and dying. Ubisoft really needs a better QA team for sure because so much of the game is actually decent but certain missions are a hell fest that can practically soft lock you.
You make it look so easy I've been at this mission for God knows how FUCKING long and its royalty fucking pissing me off. I cant out of the damn base I've tried everything I'm about to just call quits.
Several things: 1) There’s another hole in the fence further south, just look at the intersection of where the two long buildings meet up, south of that “V”. 2) Every time I jump off the cliff, I sink like a rock. So I pull my chute ASAP and land way too early that it’s pointless. I was hoping the video would explain how to glide like you show - but you didn’t explain. I’ve pulled back on my left stick as the game instructed - doesn’t do anything. I just fall straight down and often die on the ledge. Absolutely frustrating controls. 3) Thx for the vid. I’ll keep trying but I’d love to capture and torture whichever devs designed this stupid mission Edit: OK, I found your other video on BASE jumping off this cliff and I got it immediately. In game instructions were misleading, stating you could just walk off the cliff - nope. Not this one that’s a mile up. Anyway thx for the tut
18:45 Okay so the main thing fly really high up and start firing back at the choppers. Update: it works thanks and I only took down one chopper while avoiding the other 2 until I got to the landing zone.

Alternatively, you can just land inside the canyon and not shoot and just wait for the Unidad patrol to be over.

So I stormed in with a grenade launcher attachment, stayed on the ground, called in rebel support, blew up all the cars and high-tailed it. Completed first time. Good idea to run the clock down before reaching the bomb area - maybe less time for baddies to spawn? Worked for me.

I had to switch to HTI for the damage/less drop - still not able to take out the far genny from the sniper tower. You have to take out near the genny while the guy attending it takes his second position more to the gas station - and shoot thru the fence, low into the side like Penguin does - otherwise the shot is taken as "direct fire" and mission fail via detection - I found pistol work here much easier done over the shoulder rather than ADS

This helped me a lot, so thanks for that. But seriously fuck these missions that set you back like 5-10 minutes of walking/travel when you fail. There should be a checkpoint when I get into the helicopter. I don't want to replay the part I already beat ten times just so missiles can shoot me down the moment I take off. Complete disrespect for players time. This shit shouldn't still be a thing in video games.

I cleared the base and cleared all the Sam's (3@airport, 1@base, 1@ 200 m left of where you begin to fly down in the canyon) and STILL hit by missile. Haven't gone back since. But will, just doing other stuff.
There's a ton of Sam's not even in the base. When I did it I didn't even bother to destroy them. I used the crossbow and sync shot, destroyed the generator and then just flew SUPER low, like almost touching the ground.
I know right, I did the exact same thing after being shot down 3x, I could see where all the sams were lol After destroying all of them, I felt so confident that I’d be able to just get into the chopper and fly... Boy, as soon as I took off, rockets everywhere!! I was like WTF!!! 🤣

The thing that got me in the end with this game was the ‘start all over trial and error’ missions. No tjekpoint saves or nothing. It got super tedious in the end and killed it for me. Cool sandbox though. Omg and don’t me started on calling in vehicles. Fuck me. Blood pressure through the roof. 😅🤯
Man I'm so good at stealth that I killed everyone at the airport and flew out of there like a fucking boss. And when Unidad chased me with helicopters I just landed the chopper and hid in the bushes and that was it.
WTF why does my helicopter has no HUD/cross hair for aiming? Like how am I supposed to lock on to those enemy choppers? Help
How do you get Slient Spade mission? Do you have to complete all missions and bosses in order to that unlock?
Noah Baesl no, you just have to go to Media Luna, the mission icon (which is the Future Soldier logo) will be on the map.
I love you I did the base my self but heli part with your way and did it 1st time I got in the heli
life saver, I didn't play this for maybe a year because of this mission and one where you had to protect and dumb AI that kept running into the enemy and dying. Ubisoft really needs a better QA team for sure because so much of the game is actually decent but certain missions are a hell fest that can practically soft lock you.
You make it look so easy I've been at this mission for God knows how FUCKING long and its royalty fucking pissing me off. I cant out of the damn base I've tried everything I'm about to just call quits.

Several things:
1) There’s another hole in the fence further south, just look at the intersection of where the two long buildings meet up, south of that “V”.
2) Every time I jump off the cliff, I sink like a rock. So I pull my chute ASAP and land way too early that it’s pointless. I was hoping the video would explain how to glide like you show - but you didn’t explain. I’ve pulled back on my left stick as the game instructed - doesn’t do anything. I just fall straight down and often die on the ledge. Absolutely frustrating controls.
3) Thx for the vid. I’ll keep trying but I’d love to capture and torture whichever devs designed this stupid mission
Edit: OK, I found your other video on BASE jumping off this cliff and I got it immediately. In game instructions were misleading, stating you could just walk off the cliff - nope. Not this one that’s a mile up.

Update: it works thanks and I only took down one chopper while avoiding the other 2 until I got to the landing zone.
