Thanks for the nice video! Note that G'MIC will be directly integrated into Krita after Krita 5 release (so not released as an external plug-in anymore). Hopefully, this will fix a few issues the current plug-in has with Krita (like no MacOS version, support of Krita blending modes and so on..).
That's great! I just noticed that there seems to be an issue with Input layers being set to Active and Below only working on the active layer. Hopefully this is fixed along the way.
I knew this existed within krita but I never used it because it looked complicated. Seeing this tutorial, I'm going to give it a try. Thank as always :)
Since I use Krita as an image editing program, and not as a painting program, I am glad that Gmic is firmly integrated. Gmic is a powerful filter collection from beautiful France that I wouldn't want to be without, because you can make the most amazing image creations with it. I really hope that Gmic will stay permanently implemented in Krita. Many greetings @ll from Germany Mic 🙂

Do you know why my Gmic always crashed when I trying to start it and why Gmic configuration not available in my krita configuration. I using krita 5.0.2. I using a gaming laptop of 4GB of graphics card, windows 10.
Hello. It could come from your graphic card. I am not a computer expert, but your computer set up may not be able to handle G'Mic. There may be other factors in play. Go to their website and ask if they could help. gmic.eu/ Also, try to download their latest version. Maybe, this could help. I am sorry, I can't really help. But not knowing all the details, I can only speculate. Your best bet is to contact them with all the information they need.
@@rovicangelolanuzabulancamp2127 Hello. If you have a Mac or Linux, you will need to install it. However, I have heard that they were going to fix that in the future and make sure it is already installed in Krita for Mac and Linux users. So sorry, I cannot be of more help. Go to G'Mic's website and the installation instructions are easy to follow. Best of luck!
Hello Desotopete. Yes... You are right. Thanks for sharing this great tip. People will need to go to the settings button in G'mic to do so. THANK YOU.😊
This was fun and I learned a lot about G'mic. Thank you!

I don't have the filters you mention?!
Hello Thomas. Are you telling me that the Plugin G'mic does not show up in the Filter tab? Or that filters are missing in your G'mic version?
@@BladeandQuill same problem ma'am, in krita 5.0.2 g mic is not accessible. Do I need to install extension?
