How to Play EZVIZ cameras on your computer(Windows/Mac)(RTSP)

Curious to know how to play EZVIZ cameras on your computer using setup RTSP stream
In this video , I outline the easiest and quickest steps to complete your setup.
To configure RTSP see instructions below;
RTSP stream from VLC player
1. Connect to the local network
2. Open VLC media
3. Open network stream
4. input the device local IP address, device username and password in the format below
rtsp://admin: device verification code@device IP address on the LAN :554/H.264

Great video and very helpful. I am finding that VCL will only connect to the Cam once I have opened the app and gone to live view, it is as if the cam needs to awake for VCL to connect, once I open the app all works fine.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Your statement "very easy" was promising. I am using an ezviz C3W which supports rtsp streaming. I stepwise followed your procedure without success. The ezviz app supports also life streaming and shows partly the URL which is used for that. I tried it and it works in the app. Regretfully not the complete URL is shown and I still have not found where to grap it. What I can see is, that they have extended the URL by an alpha-numerical string. Would be great getting further insight!

Works great for linux but now in WIN10, clues? No meaningful error in the VLC log.

If you have set your verification password from your app and still cannot able to access, try use the code from the label on the camera.

Can you download to your own storage? Poi t me to your vid if there is one... I got cloud and SD yet when I download it's taking clips of 20 seconds from 14 minute video.. this whole camera is driving me nuts to be honest people vanish into thin air, cut off before the incident has finished etc.. and then it won't play on app or pc..any help welcome

It's on the camera. I had to go outside and snap a photo of the sticker that's on it. The code is there.

You need to use the Ezviz Studio windows app, it allows you change a lot more setting that the mobile app.
