Personally, I actually prefer the look of the pro. The simpler side art reminds me of vintage EMs and almost feels like something you could expect to see in an arcade around the time those movies came out
You know, I haven't seen enough of it to have a strong opinion yet - other than the fact that it's very pricey. I've heard pricing will be between $15-20k depending on the distributor, and while I love Keith Elwin, it's got to have a much better art package in order for me to even think about owning it - I love James Bond, but dang that's a lot to ask for a pin that won't have much of anything in regards to theme specific mechs either, imho
I'm definitely looking forward to this game and probably think the Premium is worth the extra. I always love physical ball locks like Wonka and Godzilla and the addition of the Bond magnetic swing arm is pretty cool as well. Otherwise the artwork is decent on all of them in my opinion so it doesn't sway me either way.
They're both great games - I think the premium is the better made unit, better artwork, better 'gadgets' - but yeah, that's a chunk of change for those perks...
@@thepinballroom when I seen the leaks I was like I dont like it but you have changed my mind ha ha ha. I would say the premium is the way to go because it has better artwork although I do like the artwork on the pro. The shots seem really interesting on this table and I love the huge rocket and the ejector seat. It would be good if you the flipper button became the ejector button that you could press to eject the ball maybe to stop on a list of scrolling points. I also really love the divers. Beautiful. Also if you can afford it then might aswel pay the extra for the extra features since it brings the machine more to life especially if you're a james bond fan. I like these videos,I hope you continue to do more in the future. Also your camera wobbling almost gives me motion sickness ha ha.
@@alexhetherington8028 yeah sorry about the camera I'll get it mounted better in the future, sorry! Glad you enjoyed the video - and thank you for sharing your thoughts!! I also prefer the artwork on the premium, the jetpack is cool, but man an extra $2800USD for the premium toys ?....😬
What do you think about the premium in this game? Which toy / mech / feature is your favorite? Something on the premium or something that's on all of them?
Terrible art direction on the Pro, yet the Premium isn’t a ton better. Playfield looks great though, so I’m stoked to play it. Probably would go Premium. I enjoy the extra physical ball lock and stupid Bond on a Wond. 😂
Prefer the pro. We are talking a big difference in price now between a pro and a premium. Pro artwork to me is better and the pro was really fun to play. Wasn’t interested in it till I played it. Premium artwork for me is a pass and the upcharge for a ball lock, Bond jet pack, and underwater fight scene sculpt not worth north of $2k price tag
The Pro is so barren on this (like Sea Wars and Led Zeppelin), the Premium is a must-have. I'm usually someone who gets Pros, but there's no choice here. Yes, the Premium is worth the extra money.
Ha awesome, that's what's so fun about this, we all have such different ways of viewing the same games 😄 I'm glad you see the value, I'm struggling still, but maybe after I see it in person 🤷
I know right?!!?? If I wasn't am operator there's no way I could afford to buy them ☹️ I really hope prices calm down and slide back below $6k for a pro but I highly doubt that will happen

Ahh! That's actually a really good point, I hadn't thought about that but you're right it would fit in well with actual older pins
If I was to build a themed machine, like that Bond one, what would be the copyright hurdles do you know??
You cannot do whatever you want for a personal machine you build for yourself, you just can't make one to sell it to someone else.
Love this playfield art though. Such a cool machine.
What’s your thoughts on the Limited edition James Bond Pinball $16,000 cost?

Yes I can not wait to hear what Mr Steve's reaction is to this one because I have my own thoughts on it from looking at some of the leaks
I do love James Bond....!
So I want to hear your opinion on this game! What do you think? Pro or premium? Do you love it or no?

I rarely think the "cost" of the premium is worth it, but I generally like the premiums better.

the art on the pro is 1000x better

Heheh yeah Bond on a wand looks like it could be fun - I just worry that it might get old over time - thanks for the comment!
007 coming soon from stern pinball
Setting a bit seasick from the camera. Put it somewhere stable in future videos :)
Yeah I noticed that after sorry!
