    Seems like the scholars/imams are the most dangerous component of islam. The way they program the minds of their followers. It almost seems like muslims are submitting to the scholars more than Allah himself. But when scholars are are fallible humans capable of error how do they get so much authority? If the message of allah is clear as the Quran says so why do we need scholars? If I studied islam and it made absolutely no sense to me and seemed man made why should I be punished for that? Why is allah so jealous and insecure? Why does he need attention 5 times a day?

    Smart Religious people continue to believe the myths and delusions of their religions, because their deep unconscious desire to believe.
    They unknowingly employ their mental faculties to interpret their holy text so that it matches modern human morality and scientific discoveries or collective knowledge in history or archeology.

    But to reject the truth, wouldn’t you need to know it first? Even as a believer I can tell faith is something you think is true, if everybody knew, then it wouldn’t even be faith anymore, would it? I will never use the term again.

    • @HassanRadwan133
      @HassanRadwan133  3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      This is the paradox. As I've said many times, the first and most essential precondition before anyone can be tested as to whether they knowingly reject Islam is that they must obviously know for certain it is true. Yet has everyone been given this knowledge? It is of course something an omnipotent being could do instantly and perfectly. However he has chosen not to. Instead he has chosen this test to be about having to navigate one's way through a myriad of inconclusive claims that mostly hinges on whether fortune favoured someone to be born into the "right" religion (and "right" sect of that religion.) This is NOT a test of whether one knowingly rejects the truth of Islam. Even if Islam were true, it means that salvation is basically a lottery that has nothing to do with a person's moral worth.

    I think the most accurate translation of "kafir" is "denier" or "disbeliever". A kafir is a person who denies, in the same sense a Muslim would describe themselves as being "Kafir bit'taghut (كافر بالطاغوت)" or "a disbeliever in the false idol/tyrant". It doesn't necessarily have an inherently derogatory meaning, but it certainly has gained one through historical use.

    • @zacalrayyis2607
      @zacalrayyis2607 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Truth Seeker That's true, and using the word without qualifiers has become a derogatory expression of that. I'm just pointing out the interesting historical nuance this word has, not necessarily disagreeing with the main claim of the video.

By them rejecting your god, it amazing how emotionally arrogant a believer becomes, damning their souls to hell when that believer has to say is "all good" and walk away. They say the word kafir means those who know the truth but do not want to believe it. But how can someone believe in something absurd that has no truth? I was told to live in the way of Muhammad, who was a slave owner and trader. He captured many slaves in battle, had sex with the slaves and even instructed his men to do the same. If i believe what Muhammad did was evil, will that make me a kafir? If so that is just ridiculous. Religion is supposed to bring good not the other way around. Anyways, the facts that i have said about Muhammad is fully supported by the works of the earliest and most reliable Muslim historians, like Ibn Ishaq (compiled by Ibn Hisham), al-Tabari, Bukhari and Sahih Muslim who based their writings on those who actually knew their prophet.

    It's really very simple. If there were an all powerful god who wanted to convey his message to the world, he could have done so in every language spoken and the text would be unambiguous and easily understood by all. There would be no need for scholars to interpret the text. The fact that every religious text ever produced is ambiguous, full of contradictions and subject to interpretation, forces one to conclude that these texts are the work of man.

    You see that would explain also why Muslims will happy denounce the American atrocities in the Invasion of Afghanistan, they will give lectures all day long about atrocities committed in the Middle-East (and many of the individual arguments are valid, the American Invasion did do horrible things to many innocent Afghans). But at the same time, when the Taliban did terrible things to members of other religions (Buddhists, Christians, Jews, etc...), or even to other Muslim groups such as "Sufi Barelvi" or "Shia", somehow this gets overlooked by the large Salafi Muslim Community (even though the Taliban did and still do do non-humane actions against them: persecution and violence and terrorism against other religious group members in Afghanistan). I have yet to see a public denunciation of the Taliban's atrocities against innocent people of other religions by a major Salafi group or leader. It`s because according to them, we are "kaffir" like you have demonstrated in this clip, Mr. Radwan (ie. we are "deserving of hellfire"). Such an attitude will make it more difficult for them, the Salafis, to be against religious persecutions of non-Salafi minorities. Good video!

      I am not a Christian and in fact many Evangelical Christians don't like me because I criticise Christianity also. For example see my video called: "The Religion of Peace." (It's about the Bible not the Qur'an.) Also see my video: "6 Reasons Why I don't Believe in Christianity." My channel gets very few views precisely because I refuse to be a part of any of the 3 main blocks that dominate the debate about Islam online ie Christian Evangelicals, Far-Right Bigots & Fundamentalist Muslims. I criticise all 3 and so they all dislike me. Even though most ordinary people don't belong to these blocks they tend to stay away from the debate online because they fear being identified with one or other block. But the irony is that extreme views then get to monopolise the debate online about Islam precisely because the majority of moderate reasonable voices of Muslims & non-Muslims are reluctant to participate. I do my best to bring a more moderate and balanced voice to the debate.
