    Cap’n that pond is looking most spectacular... can’t wait to get there and pull out some lunkers!
    Gary, glad to meet you. Thanx for partnering to bring this little piece of heaven to earth.
    Cap’n I enjoyed all the camera work that you did... my favorite shot was popping that tire into the loader bucket. I have n old rear tire off my neighbors lawn mower. I’m going out this afternoon to try it with my baby Kubota loader. Thanks for giving me a new trick to add to my stunt resume!

    Looks good Mikey! For future reference the bale chopper is designed to take an entire bale at a time. If the knives inside are sharp, you dont even need to cut the twine on the bale, but if they get dull then the twine will jamb up the knives. More rpm's means great chopping power and better throwing distance. but I am sure you figured that part out.

    oddly, I saw the video that YT broke before they broke it.

    whats the purpose of the shredded straw? is it just to dry the top and add some structure so it doesn't wash away so easily now that it's bare clay? or is it for sowing grass seed onto?

      Helps retain moisture for the grass to come in better

      @@CaptainKleeman so just mulch? Maybe the application method threw me off and made it seem more complicated than it was. Thanks mate

    I wonder how many of your guys at the station give you stick on your videos! Maybe you could add some on the rescue truck as well.

    New sideboards already? It wasn’t that long ago that DP got the full 2” thick boards from Logger Wade.
    Seems like they were not the ideal material for sideboards or someone is a little rough with the equipment.
    I guess the construction grade 2x10’s are as good as anything and will still accomplish what a sideboard is supposed to accomplish.
    Plus as you replied in another comment. DP has repair/modification plans for the dump box this winter.

      Yup. And they are made to be easily replaced. The big thing is it prevents the box from getting damaged when a machine makes accidental contact. Always cheaper to replace a board versus a box.

    Looks great!
    I have a question for you. At the last few minutes of the video when you are talking about the overflow. Is that a large nest in the tree in the background or a turkey roosted up there?

    Trailer ramps...Using the Camarata method...noice

      @CaptainKleeman  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Believe it or not, people have been using that method long before camarata had a trailer. We call it the “common sense” method 🤷‍♂️

    I would take the hose off. I dont think theres enough hp to force the straw thru all that tubing! I was wrong, i think you figured it out
