For mic, if you want to sound like you are talking through a desk mic, set the default to “deep voice” and just slightly up the bass and low mids, put on the noise gate around less than half way, clearcast noice cancellation at 50. It gives more bass to your voice and sounds more premium. But everyone has a preference so this isn’t perfect for everyone.

Mic for me is all about Less Nasal. It makes me sound best, and people I’m hearing on the Chat side too (set chat to Less Nasal like my mic). All the others sound pretty extreme and random with their EQ choices IMO. The desk mic options seem to be good too-they kind of simulate the sound of a quality desk mic, but nothing ever beats the real thing there for me 😄

i have the steelseries arctic 1s that are wired, but the gg doesn’t recognize that on sonar and only shows “headphones realtek(R) audio on game, chat, media, and aux, and “microphone array (realtek(r) audio)” for the mic, no option for the steelseries gaming and audio that shows up on yours. anyone know how to fix it?

When I initially install the app, the different headsets don’t pop up in the game, chat, or media it all just says high definition audio device
