- Have you ever heard someone say, "A better translation would be" when referencing the wording of the King James Bible? Is this actually true? Is the rendering of the Greek and Hebrew into English for our KJV really a poor translation? In this session, Pastor Jared Longsine answers this question head on.

Do you think the KJV is particularly good when discussion subjects such as polygamy and divorce?
I used to use the NKJ, NIV, AND AMPLIFIED, then about six years ago The Spirit Of Truth opened my eyes, and I threw my modern versions in the trash, and I've been King James only ever since. And I will yield no ground of what The Spirit Of Truth has revealed to me.
Me also being Hebrews 10:7 clearly states the volume of the Book written of Jesus.
Paul clearly states in Corinthians is Christ divided?
So you need an extra-biblical revelation to know which version to read. Extraordinary.
I agree. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1 : 1). We have all the proof of the infallibility of the King James Bible that we need. Thank you for your diligence. God speed!

The kjv is the better translation
Plus the KJV was translated before the socialist movements that started in Europe. The KJV has no communistic influence in the writing of it, and also this is before the push for the scientific revolution(or devaluation).

KJV has been used for over 400 years now.
And prior to these so called new bibles.
KJV was known as simply the Bible!
That is the same argument made against the men translating into English the first time. After all, the Latin Vulgate had been the Bible for 1000 years.

Good evening, @@kenbeach5021 . The Lord God omnipotent understands everything about it, but it changes. "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3: 1).
The whole idea of replacing the KJV harkens in some way to Hebrews 8, the whole way that something replaced is meant to decay and vanish away. But the KJV is still the top sales and hasn’t diminished among the Christians who have sound theology. I mean, ESV and NKJV is popular even among the churches that are supposed to have good theology because they gave in to the idea of “easier to understand.”… but I’m just saying it hasn’t vanished away.

Why do so many pastors say that the KJB adds words and even verses (in Mark's gospel)? I believe that they removed those words from the KJV when they wrote the ESV and others based on the Alexandrian Critical Texts. I like the Received Text Manuscripts because they are copied from the original manuscripts (autographs), and the Jewish Masoretic translation rather than the Septuagint Greek translation.
They got tricked into thinking the oldest and best are better and it was added later. Also, some say mark is the first gospel, so Jesus got his sonship at baptism, and the reseuraction was added later.. kind of supsious.
What is never mentioned is the changes made to be incompliance with FormTX when filing for copyright protection. Section 6 of this form is all that matters, all you need to know.

King James did not translate the Authorized Version, first of all. Secondly, the lie that you have asked about has been debunked through many reliable reports. Thirdly, the rumor that you seem to believe was purportedly published about twenty-five years after King James had died. Fourthly, the man that "authored" the accusation was dead quite a bit AFTER he had died, but during his lifetime he had been known as one of King James detractors, but had never once leveled this particular criticism.
