I became KJV only about 4-5 years ago. Since then I’ve discovered that trying to get other Christians to actually research this issue is like trying to catch the wind.
Refer them to a book called Sealed by the King. It literally shows an incredible mathematical code with only the KJV. It’s unquestionably from God himself. This is absolute proof.
I have collated 5 bibles and without a doubt, KJB remains above all. It is proven over time that every age of a person can easily memorize verses in the KJB as opposed to other translations.
For the people saying “the letters don’t say that…” The quotations are directly from the letters published by Hort & Westcott’s sons! Any copy of these letters will say the same thing!
A circumstantial case for the Comma of John: In 484 A.D. the bishop of Carthage with 400 bishops quoted the comma to an Arian Vandal king. Being the bishop of Carthage, he would have had access to the Scriptures of Cyprian, and he probably had a Vulgate, maybe a first edition. Also, Gregory Nazianzus wrote on the grammar, and he had a student named Jerome. Seems strong evidence to me. Blessings.
I heard that they have to make so many changes in order to be able to get a copy right, and then be able to make money off the publishing of a new version. That’s part of why there’s so many word changes.
The modern versions are essentially the same jar of peanut butter with different labels. Also, Zondervan, Harvest House and Nelson publishing are not Christian companys and each are owned by Rupert Murdock.
Any King James version you get today uses the same underlying text. Any differences you see is primarily spelling, fonts, and capitalization. Don't sweat it.
Starting minute 9:50 thru about 12:45 is an important point. John 5:24 in many modern Bibles is a lie. KJV and "some" modern Bibles correctly translate that we will not be condemned at the judgement. The NKJV translation, along with quite many modern versions, gets it wrong and is a blatant lie. (2nd Corinthians 5:10 says we must all appear before the judgement seat.)
"Now to the latter we answer; that we do not deny, nay we affirm and avow, that the very meanest translation of the Bible in English, set forth by men of our profession (for we have seen none of theirs of the whole Bible as yet) *containeth the word of God, nay, is the word of God.* From the preface of the AV. The translators of the AV itself did not believe it was the only possible translation. I believe the RSV is the inspired bible in English. Where the KJV differs from it it follows the KJV is wrong ...
These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16-19 (NKJV):
This man is sowing discord. So quick to impune the character of dead men, doesn't read Greek or Hebrew, and cherry picks history based on his traditions.

Thank you Dr. Combs for standing for the truth

Tend to use hymnals

“I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.”

Was the end of that cut short? That was a super Sermon!

GOD's WORD is infallible and error-free ... per the KJV specifically. I don't see the KJV going away ... GOD's WORD is eternal.
I don't see several translations going away

Amen. The KJV is THE HOLY BIBLE for English speaking people. BTW,, I am a conservative Calvinist Christian.

You either want truth, or you don't. Choose truth.
It would be better for the world were the bible the only book. GOD isnt impressed with your title
You were going so well, until you promoted YOUR book, rather than the Word of God alone.
If you missed the rest of the message, get the book.
You, on the other hand, recommend your yew toob comment over the word of God.
