Glad you said about that ceramic speed calculator thing, I been wondering if I want external or internal BB just noticed those as looking at Enduro XD 15, so know my other bike I made when only knew external so I brought a stage power meter and spindle smaller than need but PTFE washes inside so it don't crush the BB bearings
I am getting more and more confused hearing your suggestion about the option two Force power meter option. At the very beginning years ago, I thought I could add a seperate spider power meter onto this crankset, like you said option two the Sram Force. Later i learnt that the Red AXS chainring set is a one piece assembly. To add a power meter, the entire chainring set needs to be retired and you have to buy a new chainring set with a spider-based power meter integrated on it. The only thing you can re-use is your crank arms.
I didn't know the non drive side needed a spacer for the ceramicspeed bb. Let us know how it goes. I hope to get a ceramicspeed bb for my Tarmac sometime this year.
Thanks for the great videos. Helped me install the same sram red crankset and cassette on my sl7. Question for you- when I spin the pedals backwards and I’m in my 3 largest gears on the cassette, the chain skips. Did you experience any chain skipping or alignment issues with yours?
Thanks for this video saved me from buying this. they don't make a lot of chain rings for it. There is no chain ring above 50T

Glad to help!
nice video. its fun to follow the tarmac project. I hope you will also make videos where you tune the shifting etc :D
I could do that…

The force/red spider power meter was an option (I had it) but I don’t think they make it anymore. Now it’s a one piece unit with chainrings.

Will do!

Never had any issues with that, but I imagine it’s not”perfectly” tuned if that’s happening.
These are by far the ugliest bicycle cranks ever made!
Cool.
