Except instead of turning her into Christmas dinner he hung her skin on the wall and her son (unknowingly) saw it years later. He also snuck onto a game preserve to hunt the son because he blamed him for an accident that nearly killed one of his dogs. Fortunately the other dog had more compassion and ultimately things worked out. Kind of. Unfortunately the hunter only got caught in a beartrap and is recovering at the end of the movie.
I can't tell if the stumbling was thinking you can beat Gantu or thinking you can seduce Gantu

Amos might not be the most notable of Disney villains, but he's still a bastard. Todd never bothered him or harmed the dogs, but goes ahead and threatens to kill this sweet old lady's PET, and eventually she's forced to abandon Todd in the woods.

@@fuzzythegreat1 I get that. but Amos let his anger cloud his judgment a whole lot. it's in no way a fox's fault if his dog gets hit by a train, that's just bad luck. and then Amos goes on and commits several crimes by breaking into a game preserve and almost burns the whole place down just to get this ONE fox. Amos was lucky this was in the old days in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, because today he'd be in the slammer for sure.
@@fuzzythegreat1 Those are all good points and normally I'd agree, but Tod never hurt the little old lady, he never attacked his dogs, he never goes after his chickens. Tod is innocent. And while Amos may say he's looking out for the little old lady, and the safety of his animals, in reality he just wants to be able to hunt and kill this sweet old lady's pet fox.
What I love about Gantu is that in the Lilo and Stitch series, when he didn’t want people to know he was an alien he always just said he was Samoan

Gantu has consistently been outsmarted by a little girl regardless of if she was alone or not. Make this less of a fight and more of a chase that lets you use your environment to your advantage then maybe you have a chance of getting out alive.

I love how he has nothing against Clayton who poaches endangered animals for a living but seems to hold quite the grudge against Amus for trying to kill Todd, despite the fact Amus reformed and grew a sense of respect for Todd after the latter saved his life. 😂 Also Amus has 2 precious doggies who would more than likely jump into the ring to protect their caretaker.

It may just be that Clayton has a sense of theatricality to him that makes it harder to take him seriously AND he's voiced by BRIAN BLESSED. Deep down you KNOW this guy is bad but he's just so over the top about it you'll be questioning your sense of reality about it the whole time through, like that one guy is swinging through vines and was raised by apes and the apes are breaking plates in perfect harmony and this foppish hunter on top of all things- is all this REALLY happening?
Amos? Amos may semi-reform, but he's also just an average American hillbilly. Koreanbeef may have experiences with those that makes it all the more personal, despite mitigating circumstances.

Technically, Gantu didn't become a villain until he kidnapped Lilo. He was a cop pursuing an escaped fugitive. He was literally just doing his LEGAL duty.

Gantu is like 20ft tall. You could probably fit in the palm of his hand. He will probably crush you. Also, do not fuck him, it will more than likely split you in half. Hard no. Also, Clayton doesn't fight fair, he would bring his gun and/or machete. He could get a cheap shot on you, but you have a good chance to out-maneuver him or out-smart him. Arguably a 50/50. Spider-dude from Treasure Planet also does not fight fair. If it was a zero-gravity situation like in the movie, you might have a chance. But in a standard fight, he might win. Those claws are serrated. Chances of success are very low.

I wouldn't bet on the spicy option against Clayton. He's not just a random British person from the 1920's, he a British explorer from the 1920's. There's always the chance that he lived in India for a while and built up a tolerance to spicy food. You may say "wouldn't he stick with British food out of national pride or familiarity?". Sure, at first. But the millisecond someone questions his manhood over "haha, he can't handle spicy food" he is 100% eating only spicy food until it's nothing to him.

Amos was just a man defending his chickens, and getting vegeance on a critter he believed was responsible for one of his dogs getting disabled. And, when all was said and done, he let Todd go. One of the few Disney antagonists to have a proper turnaround.

In defense of Amos, a fox is a dangerous animal especially to his chickens which as a farmer is probably a big source of his income. He’s not evil just protecting his property. And Todd’s owner didn’t do anything to help because she just let him wonder into Amos’ property.
Gantu isn't evil by nature. Dude was just doing his job.

"just following orders" is literally famous for being a terrible excuse for evil actions. He went out of his way to be pretty damn horrible in multiple instances.
Like even if you want to barebones this Canon as much as possible, he was 100% okay with kidnapping Lilo and LETTING STITCH EAT HER. And rather than just like casually ignore that or make up other reasons to allow it, he TAUNTED HER WITH THAT THOUGHT. A LITTLE GIRL.

He took so much pride in his job of protecting the laws, which also binds him might I add that he couldn't see the faults of the galactic system he's part of. Also for an evil person, he sometimes rescues lilo, banter with her. With her roasting him everytime. Eats with her and stitch, brought her back home, even became an honorary part of the family. Gantu fully understands he could never hurt lilo as that would go against his values. He could really do serious damage but doesn't. Dude is literally a Grey character. Gantu also gives me tsundere vibes. So... Justice for Gantu.

@@Merilirem you don't shoot people in boxing because it's a more or less fair fight in physical capabilities. A fost fight between him and basically any human would be heavily in Gantu's favor. Not only that but the picture used shows him armed so I'm assuming that would also be the case in our hypothetical scenario. So using any advantage you could get would be pivotal in just not dyeing let alone actually winning. And I didn't mean to imply he was afraid of mosquitoes, just using it as an example of a stupid weakness.
