The irony about Hades is that he is one of the most diabolical Disney villains of all time, yet his original depiction in the Greek myth turned out to be a good guy all along, while the rest of the gods like Zeus and Poseidon have committed more crimes than his Disney depiction.

The legal system isn't set up to handle certain scales of villainy. And at a certain point, there's not really any more that can be done to punish someone beyond more life sentences and death penalties. Whether you kill 50,000 or a planet of 5 billion doesn't really matter at that point since both are death penalties. Unless you break both up a lot, there's no way for the law to scale.

Human who took Quasimodo by himself and took care of his younger brother (Frollo has a younger brother in the novel) and a man of science and faith who lost to his desires after a battle.
Victor Hugo wrote a novel with flawed humans who ALL end up tragically (Phoebus marrying Fleur de Lys, who actually had some knowledge of his affair with Esmeralda so not that happy of the marriage, with only Grignoire having good oitcome of it (Grignoire is absorbed by Clopin in the movie), not villains and heroes.

Fun fact about Yzma's crimes: many monarchies throughout history have counted sitting in the monarch's chair as a form of treason because it indicates a lack of respect for the office or monarch and therefore a high likelihood of more serious acts of treason later, like attempted regicide and usurpation.

Several other things about what Frolo did when he threw that priest aside. Not only would that cause injuries he'd have to pay for due to A) The priest being old and B) A 7+ft drop. Along with that, assaulting a/the priest back then was comparable to assaulting the king due to him being considered a direct messenger of God and therefor would've given Frolo another death sentence as any slight against the Church back then resulted in death. And assaulting a priest is about as bad as you can get with no bloodshed involved.

She created all the potions, didn't label them well (can we discuss OSHA regulations for hazmats? fined+lab shutdown), and intended for the potion he drank to be deadly poison. Kronk was an accomplice, but Yzma was in charge. Either way, she instructed Kronk to give him the potion in the first place. The fact that they didn't intend to mutilate him and turn him into a llama but instead kill him? That doesn't help their case, but in this case it doesn't matter because Kuzco could still at the very least sue for the bodily harm

For example, England banned the presence of Romani in 1530, then in 1554 allowed Romani to stay provided they were sedentary on penalty of death. King Louis the 14th banned Romani from residing in France.
11:09 Although mind-control isn't real, Jafar is definitely usurping the Sultan's authority and bodily integrity through his magic.

Wait was it illegal to attempt to kill Yzma, or was it some type of self defense as she was attempting to coerce him into commiting first degree murder?
Obviously he would technically be charged with many crimes she did as even if he did redeem himself he was an accomplice and carried out many of the acts.
