Use these as base defence. If you have 3 ways up to your base 2 of them get 6 grave tombs each and have them all spawn 3 skeleton priests you will frame lock anyone with bad frames and they can kill a golem before it can kill the priests.
In many games, these resource spawner/converters are always intentionally less efficient than getting resources manually. The convenience of having those resources at your base is what you're paying that inefficiency for. On a pvp server, having the safety of getting those resources at base is also a potential reason they can be used, if other players are farming/camping the world nodes. As people also mentioned in droves, ya got the base defense option, for V rising specifically
But you are missing a key aspect. This entire process is automated. If you focus on getting seeds for lotus and lilies and make a massive garden, the resources are self replenishing. Plus you don't have to stand in front of the Graves waiting for them to spawn enemies, lock them with high level servants and they will farm them automatically. By the time you're back all the loot will be on the floor.
Not only that but you touched on an important aspect of it. You're exchanging resources which you can produce yourself in your castle for resources which you would otherwise have to go farm outside of your castle.
skellies and ghouls are 100% worthit if you keep a farm going, by just planting every seed you find and gathering them when they grow you will have a lot of mourning lily and blood rose around, have a 2x4 room with all 12 tombs, deposit the plants in there once in a while and everytime you walk by it just get into the room and ult, killing everything in a second, and grab the massive amount of bone and grave dust that you can use to make scourge stones, if you are sending a servant to gather glass/quartz then you can make a lot of scourge stones, allways producing them non stop with almost no efford
You dont need to stand there, just come back after 3 would have spawned which for the longest one is 45 min. Pretty reasonable to have a passive farm while online doing other things. Its a passive farm you give up efficiency for Convenience, so while your passive farm is spawning you can go do other thing like hunting for things that you cant get passively. I throw all my extra roses in the grave and just let my npcs kill them and i pick up the drops (that havnt despawned yet) when i get back. I also saw someone recommended spawning monster for raid defense which is another great use. Obviously they cant make it as effective as farming manually or noone would leave there bases, although i do agree maybe a small buff might be nice (id love if npcs would pick up drops on the ground so this could be fully afk)
I’m using these as base defense tools on the pvp server I play on. My clan and I have placed our castles in such a way that we have basically claimed a plateau to be our own. There are some spots due to castle limitations where people with the bat form could land, and these spots have been set up to always be full of hostile mobs for them to deal with after landing. Even if they decide to go through killing all the waves to assault from these places, they will find themselves not to be in the optimal place to launch their attack from.
I've found a better use for them! 1. Make a grave yard outside the entrance to your castle 2. Fence them off so that they can spawn but cant get to you 3. set them loose when someone tries to raid you base It takes a bit of planning but it can be surprisingly helpful I highly recommend trying it : )
1. Have a garden 2. Have a servant 3. set up tombs surrounded by walls and servant preventing doors 4. place servant coffins for easy summons amidst the tombs 5. have servants kill everything so no durability loss for you This is way more profitable use for servants instead of sending them to useless bone/bonedust missions for hours on end. Just remember to loot the drops every now and then.
Prefer it automated where you didn't have to actual fight or input resources. Like have your servants attend the graves to harvest the resources or just have it as a way to summon your own undead army to defend your base. When it comes to servant missions the time it takes makes it less worth it especially when you're playing solo where your server isn't always running.
You're looking at it without considering play time. Things like this and servants are able to continue earning you resources while you aren't playing. I usually only use what I don't have the means to craft with at the time before logging off in the tombs.
It's important to mention in any of these locations, espetially in Ancient villages, if you break all the crates and boxes, you can get much more resources and you can circle between 2 ancient villages in the forest, constantly farming all the dust and scourgestones, so they are just better. The only reason to use tombs for farming is like if you need these resources right now, playing on the PVP server and you know someone strong and agressive farms ancient villages
i think instead of going all the way down to farm infested cemetry, we can farm forgotten cemetry apart from boss and this will give even more loot and travel time is less. I am farming all these 3 spots at once as my base in silverligth hills. i start from ancient village at top and go down to bottom. Moreover, a small tip not sure if many know it but you can tp with horse directly.
I think they are worth it. Place them in "gardens" connected to your main hallway, place doors towards the hallways, fill them with banshee materials and leave. If an enemy bring a siege golem, and it tries to attack the doors in the main hallway, it will also break the doors to the gardens. Thus filling the main hallway with banshees who all attack the golem and any invaders. It's a great way to add strength to your defenses, grinding down the invaders combat strength before they reach your servants.
It's worth it for the Ghouls if you're after bone and grave dust, if you have spare lilies. It's a resource sideshow rather than a primary source. Farming sites in comparison is apples and oranges.
you place a graveyard. then plant seeds around (to collect while fighting) and boom. you easilly convert some gem dust into bone dust(product of 75 bones), scourgestones (product of whetstones, bonedust and glass) and even spirit dust(product of the gem dust you're spending to spawn a banshee). meaning instead of loosing resources (and time) you're gaining more of them due to farming of a graveyard (just don't spawn 12*3 banshies in the same area at once XD)
I simply use them as defense mechanisms for my castle for my castle and get my mats on raids. 12 tombs that spawn necromancers and banshees slow down castle attackers quite a lot ;) If you just use them for conversion, you do not understand why there are so many available to build in this game. The item conversion is just a bonus if you need it.
Here's an unconventional use I've found for them: place them around your castle to automatically kill animals and near a road to kill units. Whenever you return home you just pick up the supplies they dropped and don't even worry about killing the mobs you spawned. Just keep them replenished.
@@doublestakked1041 Smart. I'm not brave enough to play on a pvp server because I figure I'll just get harassed into not enjoying the game. I wanna play alone and take my time.
I made a whole graveyard next to my castle. I keep a rose field nearby so i always have bones for the mist fire things incase I neglect them for too long 😂 but I'm also doing a 100% solo before I try doing it with other people so I have an increased resource yield amount.. combat and everything else is all base tho 😎👌 This is a great vampire game. Loving it the way I loved Vampyr. So glad I got to see you do some gameplay before i made my decision on buying it. No regrets!
They are also for lets say aesthetics (prison like structure); also game is in Early access and is tested by players they have huge plans for most thing that to us look useless they added them now it time to make them usefull and play around with it. Here is my idea; we will probably be able to use them as summonable minions, use them as (pets), have some sort of spell to use them in some way, even make them raid villages or camps, there will be something with it. Just like with some other things, worth to note we might be able to summon mount such as horse via Tomb we create skeletal horse we put it in inventory and summon it at will. A lot can be done!
if u have a giant garden the ghoul reciep is rly worth it, u basicaly become bones and free grave dust because u have so much morning lilly for free from ur garden
What about travel time. It varies by base location and you can't teleport resources on official settings. With your location in video the travel time would be long for getting those resources to your base. That being said I'll never use tombs even if you can cage the enemies and kill from range quickly. Likewise Servants are more efficient. On pvp server tombs seem good for defense.
Definitely worth it...I have so much Lilies and Sunflowers that would take forever to process into something else that I need. Probably won't spawn Banshees until I have my Highland farm up and running
From my perspective the tombs represent the most utility on the merciless PVP servers. The safety represented by being able to semi-passively farm from the relative safety of your base should not be underestimated. Also, if you set up servant chambers correctly you can use your thralls to farm them for you so that all you have to do is swing in and grab the loot every 10 minutes or so. As far as the resource investment, my perspective on that is that sometimes you run into a glut of one resource and are sorely lacking in another. Grave dust is a great example, in one of my playthroughs Grave dust represented a choke point in progression for me, but I had a ton of both the lillies and their seeds. It made sense for me to develop a passive GD farm where I had a couple of fire arrow archers enthralled and placed behind windows overlooking the graveyard. This allowed me to run an external graveyard for the bulk of my inventory, but also converted excess lillies into a more useful recipe. Think of it like recycling. :)
You have to consider how much defensive utility the Banshees can offer. I think each grave can spawn 3. They almost stopped a raid on my base by themselves. Spawn them all before raid timers then farm them when raid timers turn off(unless its full time pvp). Once you have servants to farm lotus, youll have so much extra to use on graves.
Thanks for the video. I wondered the same things exactly and here is my conclusion after your point of view : tombs are are good plus to have according to two factors. One: the rarity of the ressource you need. If you have a huge lotus flower field it's not the same. Two : it does it itself and it can make you self sufficient in some ways... In my play I mostly make tombs for bones but not for high tier because it's too expensive.
I think its more for RP purposes or deco than to really farm mats for the average player. Some of the more hardcore may want them for a private source of mats on a pvp server.
My grave yard is awesome... my second garden is in there is there, open for anyone to land into...but the mobs i have in there are a 3rd defense for my castle. I think I have 15 gravestones ... im scared to go in there to farm cause chip damage x 30+ is heavy. Im not even using the grave yard to farm. It literally there for defense against attacker's
I think the best use of the graves would be building your little undead army, whether to defend you castle OR later (they willl have to program the companion functionality) be able to take some of them out with you on your exploring. Sure they may need to tweak the limits to make you a little less OP, but still give users the ability to configure as well. I'm sure that would also have major performance impacts, but the optimizing is coming along as well.
And yes, I realize that if you put them somewhere they will aggro any castle invaders/attackers, but I say make them friendly to you (and your thralls) as your undead or banshee army.
I'm only a few mins in to your video so you may say this but I think its more about having the option to craft something if you need it instead of having to go and find it. I craft a lot of of scourge stones for example so its nice to have extra grave dust crafting while I'm out collecting the other components for the scourge stone craft. Otherwise I'd have to go farm graveyards which doesn't yield most of the items I need.
getting gem dust late game is pretty easy though, and with enough plants your highland lotus builds up pretty quick i'd way rather use them as defense(in a layer of my honeycomb) and farm them every few hours by leading them all into my minions
Maybe have mob require one of the primary resource you kill them for; then after you kill it you receive 2-3 of that same resource… would be a way to make them useful, have a cost, and maybe be worth the effort.
I actually think this is a somewhat unfair representation of this mechanic. Your current gear state is maxed, meaning that you're looking at a best case scenario for farming, and you're analyzing the worst case scenario with the tombs. Standing still waiting for spawn timers is not a good use of your time by a long shot. Instead, I would look in to the time it takes to clear say 4,8 and 12 of the tombs at the level of the boss that gives the recipe. This is the realistic time investment for an individual as a farming cycle. So if we do that, and compare the outcome to the outcome of traveling to farm, farming, and traveling back from farming so to the waypoint, you're starting to get a bit more reasonable. However, things continue to be more complex here when you start looking at PvP. Some areas can become hotspots and it can be more risky to farm them as people start to watch for farmers. That means there may be added value to consider in a PvP scenario.
That’s a great video and lots of work were put into getting the data. Passive “income” and active farming are drastically different things. Using a yield/time parameter doesn’t make those two comparable. However, for people that really needed some bones and resources right then and there on pve server, the video showed some great stats
Farming manually will always be faster but you're using that time to farm an item that you could've passively acquired from building tombs. Yes you could go farm the materials yourself and probably acquire twice as much materials in the same time frame, or you could be farming higher tier materials like gold jewelry or schematics and when you get home pop those priests or banshees with heart strike and immediately reap the rewards. Plants overtime you'll have in abundance, you'll have more issues with cloth and silkworm than you will ever have lotus flower once you start getting seeds. And imperial thread is something you'll almost never run out of because you're supposed to be farming over at silver light not beating up skeletons in low level areas. The amount of people that say they aren't worth it leads me to believe majority haven't even reached late game.
It is actually NOT PASSIVE if you have to kill all the summs you make, and of course you have to take into consideration the value you lose from the damage your gear suffer while fighting the summs. That is NOT the meaning of PASSIVE. So no, you are wrong.
@@thedarkblitz you do realize you can setup a tomb farm in a 2x8 space where you can blow up everything with a single heartstrike where the damage scales based on how many units you hit? Killing the mobs is probably the least of your concerns. Takes less than 5s to clear 36 mobs. Maybe get to late game and then you can make a proper assessment of the value of tombs.
I think the big part you seem to not address in the V Rising videos I've seen of yours is that you don't consider PvP. The Tomb allows the farming of said resources in the safety of your castle.
Is your castle really that safe? Also pve or pvp you are still spending resources that can be used for one thing for another. And you still have to leave your castle for tons of other things.
nice video as always ... but you didn't talk about the most important thing! I use them for raid defense! place graves in a spot where enemies must pass and have banshee summoned! 12 * 3 = 36 banshee! O.O OP! Or a couple of suggestions: put some material on all the graves because you will probably not be able to put anything after all are invoked, you will be stunned, stunned, stunned, dead. XD and put the materials for three banshees and that's it because it takes 15 minutes to spawn and if you are raided and they kill them all you don't want to leave too much material in the graves.
so i was skeptical on these graves at first, but in PVE, they were integral to helping me get scourge stones faster, by just farming Ghouls i was able to get lots of bone and grave dust to help me get the scourge stones i needed, so there's definitly some value here. Plus i was getting lots of seeds that I planted in order to farm the ghouls, but beyond the ghouls i didnt see much other use now that i'm in the end game
You put all of them at a bottleneck and summon as many priests as you can. Use pillars or obstacles that the priests can hide behind but still allow ranged attacks and the skeletons they spawn to walk around/through.
The graves have been useful to me. I have a garden. Sometimes I just need grave dust or bones. Theres no other crafting thing that gives grave dust or bones. I think you're confused. A crafting system doesn't always have to make you rich in order to be useful.
Thanks for the detailed info me and my cousin were just wondering about these on our PvP server. Farming seems like the way to go instead of taking up room on our catacomb castles lol
It's an interesting system. Feels like it's taken some inspo from factory games, and they're trying to give you the option of never leaving your base (grow flowers, grow mobs, thralls kill mobs, get mob drops). It's also maybe a defence system? (Add mobs to your perimeter). But if they want it to be an automated farm system they need to add the option to assign thralls to harvest flowers (and... What's the gem dust doing in there? Get rid of that)
I agree it's not worth it but you can lock a geared up follower in the room with the graves and let them farm the spawns. That frees you up to do what you want. That would take out the investment of time but still not with the investment if resources
I have one. It's just me and the wife. We on occasion early in our playthrough we ran out of gravedust and fall one or two short. It's nice to just start one up so we can finish our project. Then go out and do a proper farm run
It's not something to be relied on as a means of acquiring said resource but they're good for when you're in a pinch and just need a few more of said resource without having to go find it at that moment. Plus they look cool!
practical when you have an excess overflow of either bloodroses or the morning lillys, but gem dust not acceptable. Could require a bouquet that is crafted, requiring less overall, it eats away at the durability over time constantly but staying on it and killing them would be extremely efficient
Turn 4 chairs backwards or use 4 braziers in a honeycomb base to slow them down so much they are forced to fight your servants or waste time. They lose the golem after 8 minutes. Hope this helps. Hint hint: turn them backwards in the honeycomb pattern while you're offline to hinder raids.
This mechanic exists specifically to convert items you have in abundance to items that stink to farm. All items in the game have strange conversions like this. You could Run farm routes for scourge stones You could make them in the furnace, You could get helpers to run the church of the damned or you could spawn skeletons after grinding down spare gems and using your farm. Worth is all relative to where you live and how easy it is to get what you need. I live in cursed forest so I wouldn't use the banshees. Easier ways to get what i need. If I lived in Silverlight probably a different story. May be I would do this. The BEST part of this is.... Defense.... 12 banshees on a respawn that you can open a couple doors behind invaders. That would straight up stop a raid if you get them on a flank with your 9 helpers on the front line....
I extend my border out a few tiles and put one of these down, works as an alarm system lol. I hear the bones! Also I farm the heck out of the gleaming meadows to get bloodrose seeds. I have 20 plants in my base
I play on a PVE server so what I've done with these is use them and the spawn as set pieces in my graveyard that I've build in the area behind my castle. I also have huge flower garden that supplies me with lots of roses and lillies. I may spawn banshees in one section of my graveyard for fun but not for resources.
13:23 I like that change or maybe have an item you have to put in it one time to be able to turn that ability on thereafter. I know some people use tombs as chokepoint defense rooms and spawn in specific mobs for castle defense too though.
Valid but if you create a walled area with multiple tombs and put a single high level servant in there, it frees you up to go do your thing and just stop by periodically to collect the stuff they've killed.
well... im farming somewhere and meanwhile my servants are killing the monster on my 12 graveyards. if i come back after farming somewhere else i can just pick up my loot from the graveyards. thats the most efficient thing u can do.
Absolutely fantastic statistical analysis of these. I came to the same conclusion far less scientifically. IMO the tomb is a PvP defense mechanism only not a farming utility. 36 banshees greeting raiders is quite funny. PvE they’re basically decorations.
...this. my graveyard is very cool to look at. Very narrow hallway design, plenty of times to hender movement, to get to the other side...and you can't destroy the walls to enter, you have to know the door out, and get to the other door down the hall. Or break down one of the walls inside
I've been using them as a layer of defence for my castle. Sections are made up entirely of tombs, so when raiders bust through a wall they're greeted with a dozen banshees. If they bust through the next wall, guess what? Another dozen banshees! 😂
As many people have said, I think you've miscalculated the value of these farms. One of the key points that I haven't seen a lot of people say is that you make those tomb farms self sustainable by creating gardens as you get more and more seeds. (Especially once you get your garden kicked off into full gear). Gem dust is one of the easiest things to get due to the amount of gem dust per salvage. However I would like to say that I do agree with you that it's a bit silly on the earlier summons because by the time you've become self sustainable, you're not going to be summoning anything less than a skeletal priest.
Summoning ghouls is both extremely cheap, and extremely worth it, in late game. It generates graveside, and bone(which makes grave dust). Grave dust is the most annoying ingredient in crafting scourgestone, which is the most annoying ingredient in crafting dark-silver ingots. TL;DR - Tombs turn mourning lilies into Silver/Sanguine weapons.
all those except scourge stones are really common to get and not difficult when you need those mats.. I don't bother with them except to maybe use them as early detection for more powerful enemies that are near my castle if I have it near a path that is.
I use tombs for defense in my pvp server, for my "kill room" . Build just walls and fill space with as much tombs as you can, then spawn banshees in every tomb, unexpected raider will definitely die in a stunlock and they don't die from werewolf ultimate.
Toombs imho are great , u get passive materials from killing the mobs , but you also generate an extra layer of defense, and in v rising , given how brutal the siege golem is once the castle breaches , u NEEED every single thing that can help u defend your castle, that's why it's fun to have 12 of these in a room in the middle of your castle , with a bunch load of banshees , and see the enemy getting abused by them + your annoying lightweaver , cleric , paladin what not servants.
Just remember, Highland Lotus is a new agricultural cross of Highland Berries and Frost Lotus. Btw, the graphics look better today. Was there a patch? I had a hard time looking at some the gameplay streams but this looks fine today.
I think you can gate lock your followers into the area and they will possibly farm them. Likely still not worth it mats wise but followed could farm for you. I haven’t really tried it but saw it on a stream.
Servants will kill the Units in the graves. So really you can just have bones on the ground to pick up every time you come back to the castle during play
i honestly love the tombs, i have the fallen angel dropped in and having constant flowers in them. he kills everything i gather all of it. grave dust/bones constantly
The ghouls are more than worth the resources spent. I made a giant farm that output enough lilies to put 200 into 12 tombs which would last for two cycles of growth of my farm. I ended up with shelves full of grave dust and lilies.
My only question is: Why would you kill the undead by your own, if you can let your servants do it for you in your base? You could be doing something else in the mean while and only collect the resources when you come back from another haul. But over all I think your math is relevant and tombs could need some rework before full release.
Tbh I have a pretty big farm so these resources aren’t scarce for me, tombs are awesome. I usually get the spawning start of night and farm them during the day safely
i mean, they're useful in pvp servers to build a nice little trap for players invading your castle. spawn a buncha banshees and sic 'em on someone that manages to break in
Only the skeletons made from mourning lily are really efficient, those give you significant amounts of bones and grave dust every trip. All the others give minimal amounts of returns for your effort (especially the priests and banshees which drop maybe 2 scourgestone per trip and are an absolute pain to kill). On a side note though, does anybody know if your skeletons can damage your walls if you are being raided?
I can understand that it may be worth it in PvP, as leaving your base to farm, let's say scourgestones, is a big risk as these areas are quite competitive. So even though it may take longer, it could be worth farming the other resources required to spawn in creatures that may drop the scourgestones from the safety of your base. But in a PvE setting, I can't really say that they are worth it.
considering you gonna have infinite amount of flovers i say yeah they are worth it, on pvp servers its literaly one of the best defences of your castle you can have, having all 12 of them spawning priests, it can literaly crash the game so your attackers are fucked
@@GrimAbstract they are regular npcs that will attack anything even all players. You could summon banshees, which are especially annoying because of their fear/stun, and place them in the early stages of your defense if you have a sectioned off honey comb. Or you could put them all in one room that is connected to your kill zone of choice and open the door when the invaders reach that part of your castle. You could also just surround your castle heart with them as a last annoying line of defense, maybe if they already get good enough loot they wont bother looking for the heart past an army of banshees just to destroy your castle.
Its hard to compare it vs for example Ancient Village, becouse iam 100% sure that these location are being constantly nerfed. At release there was almost if not guaranteed to drop scourgestone, but not the drop rate is much much lower. I was farming there few days ago Ghost yarn and in like 30min of farming i get 1. Thats why i think that all guides and videos that are mostly 2/3 weeks old are outdated and these things like tombstones will be more relevant in the future or maybe even atm.
Use these as base defence. If you have 3 ways up to your base 2 of them get 6 grave tombs each and have them all spawn 3 skeleton priests you will frame lock anyone with bad frames and they can kill a golem before it can kill the priests.

They’re amazing for garden decoration.
Who doesn't like a few Phantoms wandering around their garden to keep the animals out?😂
it is not just for a passive farm, it is also a pvp mechanic. They can be used for anti raids. very cool game
banshees are great for anti raids
So if I play pve i probably won’t use these right?

That is amazing.
I've found a better use for them!
1. Make a grave yard outside the entrance to your castle
2. Fence them off so that they can spawn but cant get to you
3. set them loose when someone tries to raid you base
It takes a bit of planning but it can be surprisingly helpful
I highly recommend trying it : )
Yep, thats the best use for these tombs. 30+ banshees takes some time to get down lol.

When my flower chest is overflowing and I have lots of potions already made, I use the flowers
I simply use them as defense mechanisms for my castle for my castle and get my mats on raids.
12 tombs that spawn necromancers and banshees slow down castle attackers quite a lot ;)
If you just use them for conversion, you do not understand why there are so many available to build in this game.
The item conversion is just a bonus if you need it.
Yea, I don't use the graves for growing creatures, I just use them for decoration
Here's an unconventional use I've found for them: place them around your castle to automatically kill animals and near a road to kill units. Whenever you return home you just pick up the supplies they dropped and don't even worry about killing the mobs you spawned. Just keep them replenished.
yeah i like to put banshees outside my castle so i hear them aggro to players if someone comes snoopin :D
@@doublestakked1041 Smart. I'm not brave enough to play on a pvp server because I figure I'll just get harassed into not enjoying the game. I wanna play alone and take my time.
If anything id use the banshees for defence in a pvp server. They really do some dmg when theres a lot of them.
They are worth it. I have a massive garden. Basically have infinite flowers.
Ya, there is also value not having to leave your base on a PvP hardcore server
I made a whole graveyard next to my castle. I keep a rose field nearby so i always have bones for the mist fire things incase I neglect them for too long 😂 but I'm also doing a 100% solo before I try doing it with other people so I have an increased resource yield amount.. combat and everything else is all base tho 😎👌
This is a great vampire game.
Doesn’t say it on the map but you also get a lot of scourge stones from the ancient villages
I mean they're good when you have resources to spare, but other than that. Going around the map is way more efficient
if u have a giant garden the ghoul reciep is rly worth it, u basicaly become bones and free grave dust because u have so much morning lilly for free from ur garden
So what you are saying is I need to find a way to kill large amounts of banshees quickly and make a video about it? :)
@@Firespark81 that is 100% what i am saying!
exactly, fill your honeycomb with these
@@Firespark81 Exactly!
I would much rather equip my servants with that material and let them passive farm for me
I don't disagree, but the things used in tombs I have in abundance. I also always need bones.
Honestly your my favorite youtuber for game info.
Hello,
I'm sorry. I speak very little English.
Don't use for farm but your protect.
getting gem dust late game is pretty easy though, and with enough plants your highland lotus builds up pretty quick
i'd way rather use them as defense(in a layer of my honeycomb) and farm them every few hours by leading them all into my minions
Banshees drop spectral dust which is the only repair mat that servants can't farm endgame. With a lotus farm it's free.
@@Firespark81 however if it’s high pop and you started late might be more viable depending on your situation
nice video as always ... but you didn't talk about the most important thing!
You forgot the graveyard right below the bandit stronghold as well.
The thing is if you kill evil tree groots you've got a chance of getting rose seeds eventually making them just as worthless and numerous as fibre.
I have 20 plants in my base
my lily field is huge and i only farm ghouls and still have tons of lily left over.
Out of all these resources lilies would be the ones to waste.
You said it. I have too many lily's. This is the only thing I farm from tombs.
Otherwise they make great ambiance!
Short answer: yes. Long answer: yeeeeeessssss.
Tombs are great if a raid is showing up. Pump the Graveyards full of banshees or summoners.
well... im farming somewhere and meanwhile my servants are killing the monster on my 12 graveyards. if i come back after farming somewhere else i can just pick up my loot from the graveyards. thats the most efficient thing u can do.
I really like the way you think. Nice level of defense. 👍
in PVE it's bad as you already explained but for PVP it's okey to have a safety farm at base
The best use for these is trap rooms for would be sieges!
I feel if done right it can be used like a court yard filled with dobbermans against raiders.
I’d never waste my gem dust on tombs. That all goes to golems
Build just walls and fill space with as much tombs as you can, then spawn banshees in every
tomb, unexpected raider will definitely die in a stunlock and they don't die from werewolf ultimate.
Once you have a garden and servants, the tombs and vermin nests pretty much print free resources.
Nice work, man! I've never really looked into actually using the Tombs, but now I definitely won't, lol.
they are underrated castle defence, good luck raiding a base that has a hoard of banshees
@@Spriktor I honestly don't play on public servers. I have a group of friends I play with and we all just play on a private server.
This reminds me of the cost of the Paper Press for things like Scrolls and Schematics.. Not even close to worth using all your gem dust and such..
i mean, they're useful in pvp servers to build a nice little trap for players invading your castle. spawn a buncha banshees and sic 'em on someone that manages to break in
Only the skeletons made from mourning lily are really efficient, those give you significant amounts of bones and grave dust every trip.
But in a PvE setting, I can't really say that they are worth it.
considering you gonna have infinite amount of flovers i say yeah they are worth it, on pvp servers its literaly one of the best defences of your castle you can have, having all 12 of them spawning priests, it can literaly crash the game so your attackers are fucked
you can also use them as traps in your base defense so thats something to consider ontop of economy
How can you use it as a trap?
@@GrimAbstract they are regular npcs that will attack anything even all players. You could summon banshees, which are especially annoying because of their fear/stun, and place them in the early stages of your defense if you have a sectioned off honey comb. Or you could put them all in one room that is connected to your kill zone of choice and open the door when the invaders reach that part of your castle. You could also just surround your castle heart with them as a last annoying line of defense, maybe if they already get good enough loot they wont bother looking for the heart past an army of banshees just to destroy your castle.
@@GrimAbstract just make sure they dont run into conflict with your servants, the invaders might use the summons and servants to kill each other
Its hard to compare it vs for example Ancient Village, becouse iam 100% sure that these location are being constantly nerfed.
I use them as a basedefence works like a charm =)
Yeah they aren't for resources you place them between your bases to fill the no build gap with banshees' to stop people landing there
