No need to remove the fan control switch. The bulb holder can be removed with the fan control switch still installed. Just change the bulb from the holder - it's a "twist" bayonet mount. And yes, make sure you clean the bulb before inserting in the fan control switch.
Do you know if these light bulbs are the same for the digital push button climate control on 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe? Also do you know if the push-button lights on the stereo would have the same type of bulbs or something different?
The driver side of the panel has the same socket but a clear bulb, not a blue one. Otherwise they look exactly alike. What is the number for the clear bulb/socket part?

12v 1,2watt wedge bulb.
No problem to change them.
But the silicone "condom" is a problem to find, if you search online.
