Soooo. Caitlin gets a technical for slapping a pad on the backstop post in frustration with herself, but Storm players don’t get called on for criminal assault and battery after the game? The Storm coach has to be SEPARATED but the ref for attacking Christy Sykes, then comes in for another round with the player who had just assaulted Caitlin and the ref did NOTHING! The level of corruption in this league is Mind-blowing. One crooked ref can change the outcome of a game by just over-calling or under calling 5 fouls. . It happened with the NBA was a HUGE federal case years ago. The reason these teams and players don’t want Caitlin in the league is that she is bringing too much attention to the game! They are all making side money on the betting, but with the additional attention, the corruption won’t be able to stand the scrutiny.

"Did High Hollins call a foul? I don't believe this!"
      "And I don't think there's contact..."
1994 Bulls vs. Knicks, Pippen called for a foul, allowing Knicks 3 free throws and changing the outcome of the game and the playoff series. Replay showed Pippen was never even close. The one year Jordan was gone all year during the Bulls 90s domination.
Jordan was fined multiple times by the league for calling out the officiating, with comments like overcoming the other team and the refs.
Caitlin still needs to establish herself before she can get away with that, and afford the fines [that Nike contract is contingent on her continuing to play and draw crowds]. Give it time. She's too good. Barring a major injury, it's inevitable either the league cleans up or she starts calling them out.

A difference in impact that CC and Angel have on their team: the better CC plays, the more her team wins. The better Reese's statistics are, the more her team loses, and by double digits because Weatherspoon's focus is on making Reese look better than CC instead of winning the game.

I grew up in South Central LA. Down from the Tower Mkt at Florence and Western. (it's gone now). Went to 74th street elementary school then Horace Mann Junior high. I say all of that to prove I did grow up there. That being said.
If you were a poor sport you wouldn't be on a team. If you couldn't take the L like a true competitor no one wanted to be around you. I was taught by my coaches and parents the value in being a young professional and being accountable.
Of course in my day we helped each other up after a good hit. Quinn's excuse for her thug behavior is just that, an excuse for heinous behavior.
It's the victim mentality instilled in so many youth of the inner cities, which quinn has instilled in her players. Look at horston and skyler over their jawing at Sides. Any player with class would have stayed out of it but quinn has them feeling the victim thing. And they must stand up for their peeps.
Quinn, skyler and horston need to be suspended for at least one game, fined and forced to apologize to Coach Sides, the Fever, and the fans.

Wasn't til Larry Bird came in he passed him the ball and the rest is history. People today don't realize how good Jordan was. Because they changed the rules so now you have all these high scoring players ; but they get to palm the ball, carry, they get an extra step, it's a lot easier to score now. And the played defense when Jordan played. MJ would put up forty on a team that only allowed 85 points a game for the season.

The Seattle Storm coach, Nicole, was blinded by her own arrogance by not 'conceding defeat' earlier than the
2 minute mark to Christie Sides. The game could have been conceded long before. When the Storm team
got stomped thoroughly during the last 6 minutes, Storm coach, Nicole, refused to call a timeout for relief.
For the next minutes, the FEVER & Caitlin proceeded to run up the score. Two Indiana Pacers players were
on the sideline, later to confirm what I am saying . . . They said "Amazing, That No Times-Outs Were Called".
If you ran out of time-outs at the end of the game to 'stop the momentum' but, nothing seemed to work, then
the opponent should call the game by letting the other coach know. (in a graceful way)
That is Nicole's misjudgment & her team's misunderstanding of their coach's actions which caused "blame-shifting"
to happen. FEVER coach should not have to answer for the butt-hurt feelings of others, after such a sweet victory.
Lastly, first & foremost, the entire Storm team was so full of hatred & bias against Caitlin that coach, Nicole,
never asked the team to make an adjustment to guard Lexi Hull. This is the exact arrogance that Caitlin had confronted
in her 'rants' toward the Seattle team. She shouted at them to "Stop Crying" meaning you have 'No Excuse' to
whine about something you neglected for the entire game. The Storm also sorely underestimated Lexi Hull's Fast Break
& 3-Point shooting capability by leaving her wide-open. Also, Coming off the bench for only 18 minutes, for 22 points,
Lexi single-handedly defended & shut down Jewell Lloyd & other key scorers for the Storm during the fourth quarter.
If they, the blubbering idiots, cannot learn from their own mistakes, just let Caitlin taunt them as to "NEVER DISRESPECT
HER FRIEND, LEXI HULL", ever again. The Storm would never succeed in coming back due to the actions of Miss Hull.

None of this happens, generally speaking, in any of the men's sports. When a great shows up and even if they're a rookie the players in all leagues will put them to the test, but it's never ever about jealousy. It's about just Game. Game respects game. Jordan put Kobe to the test. But Jordan respected Kobe's game. Just like how Jordan got put to the test during his rookie year. But in the women's league, there's so much going on beyond the actual game and talent. It just shows the WNBA has a lot of growing up to do.

someone needs to look at how Quinn is chatting up the Ref right before he gives CC a tech…Quinn seems to flirt with him whispering in his ear quite a bit….then Skylar intentionally bumps into CC, Quinn and Skylar then attack Christie sides for what they call gamesmanship, total bullshit….Quinn does not make WNBA rules a has zero right to tell another coach when to make subs…Quinn should have been T’d with 3.1 seconds still left in the game but that same ref dies nothing….

This is refreshing to watch in basketball. People are actually competing and not happy with a loss. I love the fact the Seattle's coach was upset about the loss and the sportsmanship. It shows they want to win. Jordan was petty and bitter and no one said anything. I love the pettiness. I love the compete level

It wouldn’t surprise me if Reese get’s 4-5 offensive rebounds a game on her own missed layups. One game she had 3 missed layups and 3 offensive rebounds in about 4-5 seconds.
