Burying electrical conduit. We didn't have a backhoe or chain trencher, so I did what I could with the bucket. Fortunately our soil is quite soft, as the video shows.

This is a 3038E. Whether the 3025E is adequate for you or not depends on what you are going to do with it. I can say that my tractor does not really have enough weight to make use of that much hp when pulling, e.g. a disk harrow or box blade, at least in my soils. If you are doing heavy PTO work, like mowing heavy grass or weeds, you will do it faster with more hp. Loading manure from a horse barn, doesn't matter so much. For me, it came down to this: no one ever complains that they have too much hp, and the price differential between a 3032E and 3038E was only a few hundred $$, so I went bigger. My buddy has the 3032E, and it works great loading manure and mowing his horse pasture. YMMV, HTH.
If you had a tiller. That would work just as well if not better. Raise the skids all the way up to get a deep till. And work perpendicular to the ditch you want to make. The tiller will leave a pile of dirt to backfill with. Just make sure you have good brakes. A tiller can push a tractor in neutral. (Been there, done that. NOT COOL AS A KID)
