Doris and I visited Mode Kitchen & Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney for our first dinner after NSW lockdown ended. We headed to an amazing Modern Australian restaurant for dinner. Mode Kitchen & Bar offers uncomplicated yet utterly memorable modern Australian dining which their simple dishes are executed exceptionally well. It was an amazing experience, food was delicious, staff were friendly. 10/10.
Entree we ordered:
Hiramasa kingfish, crudo, saffron vinaigrette, cucumber, nasturtium
Tasmanian octopus salad, grilled tentacles, chick peas, celery & paprika
Mains we ordered:
Catch of the day, wood roasted whole fish and seasonal vegetables
Angus tenderloin, grassfed MB+3, edamame, horseradish & veal jus
Desserts we ordered:
Frozen Pavlova coconut meringue, passionfruit, mango & coconut sorbet
Gin Baba, Archie Rose Gin, fresh mulberries, Chantilly cream & vanilla
Drinks we ordered:
Mr. George - Fresh Pineapple, Orange, Passionfruit, Mixed Berry, Lemon and Ginger Beer
La Bonne Vie - Widges Gin, Orange Bitter, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, Lime and Basil
