I have a full Crusader off-meta mesmer for slippery thieves like this one. I run it with scepter-sword, scepter-focus. So far, I am not disappointed with it ^^
With continuum split, a good thief can use that against you as a chrono. Mirage has decent stunbreaks but there are good synergy between core traitlines that at times bring more gameplay out of you than elite spec traitline will

What’s your favorite set up against thiefs? Obviously DP stealth thief is an absolute nuisance to deal with on Mesmer.
