while 1 v2s are fun roaming is at is best when you are in a 2 v 4+ with a friend. there are some classes you can play around alot, when you notice that they dont have moblity.

im sure theres some combo of grieving/zerk/viper that could work half way decent but i doubt there is one that holds a candle to a normal power gs build

Hi Berry! New to mesmer, I'm currently trying out GuildJen's power virt build with spear and having good success and it's super fun, but I want your input on a good spear build as well. I see that you use spear with Chrono - it seems like Virtuoso is the most beginner friendly spec on mesmer, but I'm open to trying other options too. Cheers!
Tbh im not sure of many mes spear builds i haven’t seen another spear chrono or virt running around at all! I’ve seen a coupleSpear mirages but the build is kinda scuffed. Your best bet is probably that virt build or chrono, just know while Virt is pretty beginner friendly it doesn’t really translate a lot to the other mes specs. Clones are a large portion of the learning curve. Nothing wrong with Virt tho for sure

One question though, how do you use F2 F3 and F5 on virt? I almost always save the blades for F1 or F4, F3 could be used for interrupting I guess.
@@_Idolin f1 is the best dmg f2 hits more reliably so I open with that normally I hold f3 to interrupt a res f5 i kinda use either to stack torment on downs or for the ageis block

Honestly core Mesmer is fun but it just straight up runs out of cool downs vs most newer specs in a 1v1 let alone 1vX. Virt is ok but just ok and it is by far the most simple to play and easiest to learn but it doesn’t really translate well to other mes specs. Mirage is a decent pick I really don’t ever play it all I know is it’s certainly a viable choice
@@berrybadplayer thats exactly what im feeling as core mesmer actually as 1v1… another option i didnt mention is chrono, but i dont see it recomended anywhere, and the only chronos i have seen are support. Think ill try mirage and stick with it for a while. Thanks Berry!
In a shortened version, save your skills until you can lock down the ele and burst it. They have a low health pool but high resustain, so big bursts is the way. I try to burst into air, or if you catch them moving out of water into fire. Cele ele is kinda rough for power Mesmer so it’ll take some practice!

This isn't the point of your video but I'm surprised you don't use instant casting without indicator. I've seen people say it's subpar but you clearly make it work. Any reason why you prefer indicator?

On rare occasion do you join zergs? Do you make power chrono work somehow there? I'm always having to swap to power mirage and back to power chrono for roaming.
Cele will most likely still be a viable option for harbinger and catalyst and wb will mostly be Mara/dragon mixes which is viable on most heavy class builds for roaming
@@berrybadplayer I'm in luck because I came back and built a Cele Catalyst so I could do story mode and get familiar with my roaming build. Just haven't tested it outside of story mode. ty
@@JoshuaKelly-t3c it’s just a time and practice thing, lots of dueling, and most classes play the same few builds with maybe a couple small variations so knowing what build you fighting helps a lot

Dom/illu is a glass one shot build the other one is inspi chrono does less dmg but it gives you better condi clear
