Thanks matey. I watched quite a bit on the Web Cam. I've not been to the NYMR at Grosmont for over 30 years and your shots really showed me the geography of the place. Some lovely scenes without a million airheads all barging around and behaving like Locusts. I particularly enjoyed the shots in the Shed area. I hope you enjoyed your time there and you certainly let me enjoy some time as I rarely can get out these days. Very much appreciated.
@@thomaspolice9400 Thank you and you are very welcome. I always like to visit before the weekend so it's not too crowded. I enjoy the shed area as you never know what you will see and the odd surprise. I did enjoy my few days visiting, amazing how quick the time went as well. Also some very friendly staff who were happy to advise what was going on too.
Steam Loco's don't need to be going fast through the countryside (though it's nice to see) Steam Loco's just acting like Neolithic Monsters going very slow does it for me :)
Sadly I don't. I was driving down to Pickering around that time to see if I could film some more footage but the rain came and couldn't get parked so I called it a day. I am sure someone will know what had happened and will be able to help. If I hear anything I will let you know.
@@JCarlton09 Oh dear, hopefully she will be ok. I am not surprised as moments when the gates where open, between the gates and the platform it was packed, also with people just stopping. I know I also saw a few people running to get through the gates as they were closing yesterday.
@@crewelocoman5b161 Thanks for that. That's what happens after a 14 hour day with little sleep and editing till late at night too. Thanks for letting me know, and for your comment.
Check out my video from the NYMR Steam Gala 2024 Day One th-cam.com/video/97Zy4wp5moI/w-d-xo.html

The number of ads on YT videos now is beyond a joke. Great footage tho, thank you.

576 ... Wow .... What a way to open a video :)
I heard some thing happened at Grosmont around half 3 do you what happened as I had to abandoned my train up there to get back to pickering?

A lady fell on the crossing , and the staff were told not to move her until the paramedics had been, hope she’s alright

@@railway_photographer Gonna be even more hectic today, I'm probably gonna see when I get to Grosmont at 1.
"The crowds WERE out today". Were (pronounced wur) = past tense. Where (pronounced wair)= place or location. Good video.
A false economy to put all this effort into making a video and then not bother to check your spelling.
typo, not a massive issue

@@northernblue1093 Sorry but when tired after a long day, then editing when home on lack of sleep mistakes do happen. :-).
