Thanks for the comment. I can imagine how soaked you got as I did stop by Grosmont, but I never got out the car in the car park due to the rain, think that's when I headed back to Moorgates. Still make me think what people on the trains are thinking when they see us standing in the rain filming lol.

@@railway_photographer I had all intentions of moving about the NYMR yesterday but instead just stayed at Grosmont and Esk Valley Cottages When I got back to the car I just sat with the heater on full to dry off 🤣 and ye would be good to hear the conversations inside the carriage when they see wet soggy photographers 🤣👍

When GCR heritage steam and Diesel engines are running all night and first thing in the morning day before yesterday because only sometimes of during summer months around 2:45am

I overheard a member of staff talking and not sure if it will be a yearly thing or something that will happen every so often. We will have to wait and see. I know they did it around this time of the year due to time it got dark and light.

They sold Over 200 tickets and it was popular so hope they do

Thanks :). I don't mind it actually. I've only ever filmed once before from here. I wanted to get some different POV shots. I like it for filming, but not for photos.

@@railway_photographer ye i know what you mean for photos there, if you have one of those special orange hi-vis vests you can go through the gate there for photos

I agree I did look to see if I could silence the shutter on the camera but can't. To be honest I seem to take less photos now while filming due to that reason. Or other things I try and do is stand away from the camera now. Thanks for watching and feedback.

Thank you. It was nice to catch up again and surprise on the platform, shows how easy it is for us to get lost in the moment when filming or taking photos haha.

Simple. They eased up on the throttle and lowered steam admission to the pistons.

Thank you. While I was waiting for the train I just filmed the empty track with my camera on a tripod. I then filmed the train and in software I overlayed the two files and adjusted the opacity of the footage with the train so you saw more of the footage without. That created the transparent train.

@@railway_photographer i was happy with the sun and dry weather this year on 22 march although from time to time i had strong winds to film the event even filmed behind double header steamer going uphil direcktion of worth was great even the sound 😀

Personally at the moment I am not sure what they have ready to run. I normally check the website on the roster in the morning to see what will be out and about. But anything can change.

I am afraid you have got it wrong, if I understood you correctly. The large lion came first and then later the logo one.

Many enthusiasts don't remember BR steam at all, so earlier liveries are usefully educational

It does not make any difference to me, I still go to see steam whatever the livery. What I do wish for is a locomotive to be left to get filthy as long as mechanically sound, to give it that run down look they had in the last days, but I doubt any line will do that as everyone want's to see shiny polished locomotives.

I'm sure if you pay for the restoration and upkeep they will put any logo you heart desires on the engine or tender

@@railway_photographer yea now u mention it it was very windy special ad are ride behind the double header loco,s red and black to Worth buut ghot cool video from it special pulling uphill awsome sound special in the valey in netherland everything is flat most of it so u dont hear no echo,s as here in u.k dos thad the coolest part of u.k i most like 😃

I was going to buy a ticket for one of those trips but I didn't realise you had to book online and had all sold out. I agree any new event or idea to help bring the cash in is a bonus. I wish the NYMR would do more to bring in the money and customers.

Thank you. That area is just outside Haworth Station down a street called River View Where the Co-op is there is a round about and it's just down a road that says private. A few good spots long there too. There is a little path that takes you too two gates and a little place to stand. It is one of those areas if you visit, you need to be mindful of people living in the houses as and not go on the gravel areas.

@@railway_photographer hope so my plan for between 21 and 26 march is Crew to visit the APT Train swanage railway for vicktorian weekend and north yorkshire railway and do some train spoting ad york ore doncaster depending wich has most freight trafic coming trough 😁
