I really liked that video. I didn't expect so much info in a 5-minute video. The ladies in the photos looked wonderful. Wow! I am not a candidate, but somehow I've always been interested in plastic surgery. :)
@PRSJournal Thanks for sharing FACIALTEAM´s patient results and 3-D simulation in this overview. Our Research Department is also available to answer any questions regarding FFS, or see more 3--D surgical simulations and information on our own channel here.
I can't even imagine the relief I'd feel having FFS. It's just not possible with the insurance structure and denials. I don't understand how these younger individuals have it done, and where the financial support comes from.
The plastic surgeon patient has hundreds of choices when it comes to choosing a plastic surgeon for facial feminization surgery. This is true because those patients search the web, listen to testimonials, and often this surgery is a personal choice, not a necessity. How then might a surgical client wade through all the options and providers to get what she wants, a great results? Making the choice for FFS as well as choosing the right surgeon is a very important decision. We know that not all surgeons follow the same surgical procedures and that there are occasionally disastrous results. We need guidance on that selection process. There are no objective measures we can view. Where do we turn for that information. Personally, I don't trust anyone with a very inflated ego because that is a cover for lack of skill, in my opinion. What are your thoughts?
Unfortunately, I couldn't disagree more. All the surgeons listed at the Plastic Surgeon website all pay to be listed. Does anybody know which is better?- DO, MD, FACS, FCLM? The site does not list any professionals who specialize in FFS, or the numerous procedures going into FFS. The site gives no help as far as surgeons who have experience doing FFS. FFS is not something that everyone who pays for a listing at the Plastic Surgery website has experience doing, has proven ability in doing the most natural looking post treatment results, and more weaknesses. A surgeon who does many FFS surgeries a week or month has a better chance of not doing greater damage. Trans women need experts, not generalists. Of course, Plastic Surgery is a specialist profession but FFS is often a very special branch of the Plastic Surgery profession. I personally won't trust just any plastic surgeon to cut on my face unless they have lots of experience and training and have FFS as one of their specialities. If you want to improve the site, please make FFS an additional category. Transgender surgeries are just too general in nature. We are educated consumers and we want to look great when we are done with the invasive procedures. We already look great. We want to improve our looks, not just have defects removed. We need surgeons who have not only surgical skills and experience but also esthetically pleasing results based on their knowledge and experience.
@@nicolajohnson1887 How good were they? I'm unsure about the options we have in Europe compared to some of these US specialists. It's a big decision to fuck up... lol
I desperately need this surgery, but apparently the chonic lifelong suffering from mental anguish caused by looking masculine and being taunted your entire life for looking masculine when you're a female only matters if your trans, not born a female, or "cis" female.
when you talking about shrinking/smoothing the bone around frontal sinus, about the picture of before and after surgery side to side comparison you were showing, I didn't notice much difference in the sinus regions of that picture. Also if you were to show that change shouldn't you use or include some straight side view instead of some 45 degree-ish angle. Also the lightings of those pictures are not revealing structures very well, at least for the same view angle should include some shots with alternative lighting angles if you were to stress the structural change. only differences I see are makeups, hair styles, the hairline moved lower, that kind of tricks are bit of low. did you just photoshopped the hairline?
Well I'm considering this. I'm cis and sincerely happy in my body but I don't like the more masculine features of my face that are developing as I age. I identify with 'male' but 'man' feels odd. I've always looked quite androgynous anyway fortunately but if I was born with a very sharp, harsh masculinised face I wouldn't be happy at all. I just want to look like myself as a male but with the subtle effects this powerful surgery has. I would forgo the tracheal shave too because I'm fine with that. What even am I 😂
@@daviniarobbins9298 travel and hotel one person would need anyway. So it's still cheaper. There are no one who does voice surgery here anyway (Norway). So I'd rather 4300+hotel+travel than 5500+hotel+travel. Besides, I have family in Bangkok, so no need for hotel. 😊 So 4300+travel
The only doctor I will ever trust to touch my face 👏🏻 it's going to be such an honor to have him do the procedures I want

I have a question this surgery is possible for those who have a maintenance for hypertension?
Would it be a good idea to get ffs and trachea shaved at the same time? Like looking more feminine and sounding more feminine
A trachea shave doesn’t make your voice sound more feminine. You’re gonna want femlar for that
How do you open the orbits?
Thanks
How much money does the operation cost?
I had an estimate @ 32k
It cost me £18000 in Europe with a belgian ffs specialist, it 32k us seems a lot.

How much price
It all depends on your genes. If you look androgynous, a decent make-up will do the trick. It is much harder though to get your voice changed.
Voice surgery for that too. In Korea f ex. But it's expensive as hell
They can raise the pitch of your voice by almost an octave up. They make the voice box cords shorter. Costs a lot of money though at around £5,500.
