OMG I used to climb trees in my dresses. I finally refused to wear dresses for a few years, and I cut them all up and left them in a pile. I was a total Tomboy. I grew up, got married, and had kids. I never once thought I was a boy, I just liked climbing trees, running fast, laughing out loud, fishing, catching frogs, and playing with the boys. If someone had convinced me that I was a boy in the wrong body, that would of been terribly traumatizing. Children are very impressionable and gullible, they should never be told that they are in the wrong body. How dare you say that a child is in the wrong body. Children should be allowed to be who they are, and loved the way they are. If they grow up and decide that they are something else, well then that's their business.

Gender identity is different from gender expression. No one is forcing feminine boys or masculine girls to transition. The only people who are transitioning are those who explicitly have dysphoria.

This isn't happening. Most of the time trans kids are the ones telling their parents they feel like the opposite gender, not parents telling them that. No one is forcing anyone to be trans. How would the average parent benefit from somehow manipulating their kid to be trans? Most trans adults experienced dysphoria as a child and already knew.

I'm 66 years old....when I was a kid growing up, no one ever discriminated or was "hard" on girls who we simply called "tomboys" who wanted to play with boys and do sports. It was basically if she wanted to, she could. As I recall, most of us guys were quite impressed if a girl could compete with us, always in a friendly way, and both us guys and the girls enjoyed it and didn't have a problem with it. Yeah, we usually took it easier on them, and that was okay, because we knew we were different and stronger, and that we were boys and they were girls. We also knew better than to think the girls involved were " boys trapped in a female body"... Even at six, seven, eight, and up. we all knew what "bullshit" was!. Also, if the girl was good enough to play on the boys teams, she was usually allowed to, especially if there were no girls teams locally in the sport. I don't know where these so called modern "experts" get the idea that all of us in our 60's are such complete morons we didn't use common sense when we were young back in the day, eh?!

I graduated in 2006 and me being a tomboy who embraced my womanhood after puberty, as is typical for tomboys, was literally NEVER an issue. I never even heard the word, "transgender" until about 2011/2012 and it was something we all just knew was b.s., even at The Evergreen State College! It only became a national talking point a few years ago, and look how quickly our rights have been eroded all over the world. A Scottish man who raped 2 women was awaiting trial (out on the streets, of course) just decided to self-identify as a woman before court. Now, in court, his victims will be FORCED to call HIM "she and her", use his fake name, and say ridiculous things like, "her penis". If they don't, they will be punished for being in contempt of court. That is the law in places like the UK and Canada. Imprisoned women get time added to their sentences if they complain about abuse by male inmates and use the correct terms like "he, him, his" or "man, male, bloke". Even the female prison staff are terrified. One woman in jail in California as we speak, told her story over the phone at a live event called 'Let Women Speak' in Hollywood. The female correctional officer gathered all the women together and warned them: "the men are coming. Fight to kill". These poor women had to risk life sentences just to protect themselves. They all got together and made shanks as the female officers looked the other way, because in places like California, even if these men are in prison for violent crimes specifically against women, they will put them in with the women.

Great Shubudebubop. Have you ever seen the data THAT clearly quantifies how MANY schools in the state of Florida are participating in the behaviors that Governor DeSantis describes? What he is doing is very similar to what Richard Nixon did when he was running for the presidency in 1968. Also what George Wallace did when he was running for the governorship of Alabama in the late 1950s and for the presidency in the early 1970s. Both men exploited issues of fear to win elections. My wife & I pulled out boys from the public system. We've enrolled them in the local Christian School. We have to pay out of pocket but we are so much more at piece with sending them to school. Uncomplicated learning, it's been such a blessing!

Two of my boys are in the military (two different branches) one of my sons flew in to a base in Florida and noticed a bunch of reporters behind some baracade and a private plane taxied in and just as my son was waiting for a ride a very pretty woman walked up to my son a two other veterans and thanked them for their service and asked if they would like to meet her husband and it kind of surprised my son and Ron DeSantis walked up and shook hands with my son thanked him his wife used my sons phone and took a picture and said the reporters could wait and spent a good 10 minutes talking and my son and myself were very impressed with both of their humbleness. They both are the real deal

I'm not a resident of Florida but I've recently moved from CA to a state that seems to be in line with Florida and it's a true breath of fresh air to be surrounded by like minded people.
