@@relentl3ss293 We have experienced a lot of crimes. Our house has gotten broken into several times and they took a lot of valuables. My brother’s apartment got broken into and they took thousands of dollars worth of cash and valuables. Someone broke my rear windshield. And justice wasn’t served to us for all these crimes. We frequently hear gunshots at night within a block or 2 from our house, it wakes me up. The day after my birthday there was a shooting on the street right behind my house, 1 person got killed. Each time I go to the grocery store, there’s a homeless person begging me for money. A lunatic woke me up at 1:00 am right outside my window, telling me to help him because some other guys were chasing him.

I've worked my butt off to give my wife and kids a good life and we don't see all that, because of where we live. We are only 20ish minutes from it though. I can understand not wanting to live there, and I don't know your circumstances, so I don't know if you can afford to live anywhere else in the state with lesser crime. I must say that DeSantis’ whole character and demeanor is a breath of fresh air, given the hog slop being forced down our throats lately! He actually talks to the people when speaking to them, instead of merely giving them a speech simply and only to give them a speech… and he does it all with wisdom, intelligence, and a whole lot of common sense and respect.

@@derail6996 How exactly are we f'd? Both states have pros and cons, but while Newsom isn't perfect, he's actually focusing on the state and the people. Desantis focuses on crime and attacking the left. Maybe he should actually focus on things like the poverty rate for adults, and more importantly children. California has almost double the population, and yet, Florida's poverty level is higher! He was so busy telling people not to wear masks and party it up, that a ton of people died from Covid. Florida is 13th in deaths per 100k people at 343. California is only 245 deaths per. People move to Florida due to cost of living being so much lower, which I am not against at all. I can completely appreciate it. Florida doesn't have much else to offer. California even topped Florida in Orange production last year. That was the big achievement Florida owned, but apparently has become worse over the years to 1/4 of production. People leave California all the time and we get almost as many in. I see Florida plates plenty, too, but I assume they are visiting or they hit a jackpot somewhere to afford to live here.
Living in Georgia we absolutely DON'T WANT Stacy Abrams as Governor. It would be a disaster for our state.

I've voted for Trump twice, and I know that he did alot for America BUT so much distraction and baggage comes along with Trump. I think that there would be more of a chance of us losing if Trump runs again. There is no such thing as a sure thing, but I believe that DeSantis would be the far stronger GOP candidate. We can't risk another 4 years with a Democrat in the White House, just to give Trump another chance.
