This has been very helpful! You have gone slowly and explain each press of the panel buttons when you do them without missing anything. I no longer have my old system monitored, since I replaced it, but like to have it since it covers other zones and sensors not on my new system, such as my CO and smoke detectors. However, the CO detector was going off and changing the battery didn't help - it was one month from the printed expired date, so figure that was the issue. So I wanted to remove it from the old system and get a different one for the new system. I followed these instructions, but still got an error later on in the day to the effect that the system couldn't communicate with it or something like that. After looking at your video and seeing the other options that come up when pressing the down arrow while still in that sensor, I believe that I need to disable reports and maybe even disable 'supervised.' I will try this when at home again and update this comment.
Thank you!

Your video may be 7 years old but it just helped me out and saved me at least $125 bucks.
You have no idea how much this helped me today! Thank you!

Can you please make a video on installing a RE508X take over with a 2gig panel.
If the default installer code is not valid, is there a way to get into the z-wave toolbox?
Sadly there is not
My cats keep setting of the motion alarm in my basement...is there a way to just bypass the motion not delete it? Thank you
For some reason the basement is setup where the motion would still go off under “stay”
Just go into your motion sensor settings and set the type to unused. I had a similar problem with my motion sensor.
