    We have these exact same type of mini 2gig TS1 touch screen keypads in my house as part of our security system along with the big 2gig go control panel of course as the main alarm panel with the alarm sounder and all that. The question i’d like to ask this time is can you use the all new 2gig GC3 touch screen keypads along with the 2gig go control panel just in place of the older TS1 touch screen keypads as just a basic smaller type keypad for by your other entrance doors? Just curious in case we decide to make any changes for the future. Thanks mister sterling.

    Hi! I have a 2GIG panel that came with my home, the previous oweners didn’t pay for it. I used alarm grid to go head and unlock the panel and I re programmed everything and even added a second ts1 panel, everything works expect one thing? My GC2 panel master code is xxxx but my ts1 has 1111? How is this even possible my main alarm panel has a totally different code and I am asking whether or not I can change that, since to me it’s a security risk.

    Does it have backup battery

      The TS1 does not have a backup battery :(

      I guess it makes sense why the TS1 wouldn't use battery backup because if the main panel dies before the TS1 does then the TS1 would still be active but would be useless since it can't communicate with the main panel.

    How do you program a sensor so that it's always armed and is o ly disarmed by me bypassing the sensor

    • @AlarmGrid

      If you program the sensor as a 24 hour zone (24 Hour Audible, 24 Hour Silent, or 24 Hour Auxiliary) it will always be active, regardless if the system is armed or disarmed, and can only be made inactive by bypassing the sensor.

      @@dylanalarm_grid1038 Hi Dylan at alarm grid, I have a question, recently I moved into house and unlocked it from a alarm company and you guys unlocked the panel and changed all the installer toolbox codes so I was able to access it, I added two TS1 ones and why is my disarm code 1111? It just counts for ts1 but my GC2 has a totally different code, I am worried that this is a security risk is there any way to change that TS1 code?

    Why is it called wireless if it needs constant power?

    • @juliaross1667
      @juliaross1667 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wireless in that it doesn't require wires from the keypad back to the panel. In many instances, it's impossible to get wire back to the panel, which is why the TS, not to mention the GC2 itself, is an attractive option.
