'Saosin is an American alternative rock band from Newport Beach, California, formed in 2003. The band consists of lead vocalist Cove Reber, guitarists Beau Burchell and Justin Shekoski, bassist Chris Sorenson and drummer Alex Rodriguez.

Ahhh.... I don't give two fucks about what any of you say, Saosin is great with whatever singer they have, whether it be Anthony, Cove or Tilian. This band is amazing one way or another :)

in my opinion, Tilian + Saosin = match made in heaven.
I was an Anthony Green fan, dug Cove at first... But I think Tilian is perfect for this type of music.

from my knowledge, Anothony left Saosin because he was depressed, homesick and was sad that his band members weren't allowing him to help write the lyrics.
I don't know what I think of this just yet..
I think this sounds great. Sure it isn't cove but honestly, bands change and sometimes it's hard to embrace that change but imo they made a change in a positive direction. It's still Saosin, they aren't jumping genre's, but the creativity is back and for that, I applaud them. In all honesty, I mainly like the Self-Titled and Translating the Name (TTN a lot more personally) but to me this is very good and I am excited for the future of one of Post-Hardcore's greatest bands.
Tilian's melody makes this song.
Saosin was once an angsty band full of life.
This slow trudging sound just feels lack luster in comparison.
It's not bad.
It could just be a lot better.
@hieisushi look up any tides of man live video. Tilian Pearson has the one thing no one in alternative music has: raw vocal talent. You could not be more wrong.

Yeah Tillian pretty much brings it to a new level but Saosin no matter what vocalist has always been an incredible band
Sounds like Drop B tuning. It really does have a Decoder sound to it vocal wise and musically.
I noticed a lot of bands taking that dark tone direction. It's more emotional and textured.
It's overwhelming all the new material popping up now, it's hard to keep up lol

Well, this is a really good song, but still; what Saosin was with Cove, they will never accomplish without him. In Search Of Solid Ground is nothing but brilliant and it's really sad that we won't get to hear another album like that.
Emarosa and Tides of Man are two of my favorite bands but i think Tilian Pearson's voice is more suited to Saosin's sound. I'm sure Tilain could make some of the old Emarosa songs his own with add new orginal stuff. As long as he doesn't try to sing Emarosa songs like Jonny Craig does.

tiallian has yet to be confirmed to be a vocalist for them but the band emarosa showed and posted interest in having tillian as a member , so nobody knows.

Sounds amazing, I really think that Tilian is a perfect fit. Better than Anthony and Cove even (for Saosin). I wish that sound effect on his voice would be removed though

People need to shut the fuck up about which singer is better. All 3 are good and bring a wider spectrum with the band. BUT i would personally love it if they can guest star and feature anthony or cove in some of the new songs once every blue moon for old times sake. And maybe have charles from secret and whisper for a song or two : ) anyways im loving the new material with Tilian, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!!

I agree... Tilian and Cove should go back to normality... But doesn't this sound like a saosiny diamond eyes? Like diamond eyes by deftones? Maybe it's just me, but I'm sensing some melodic parallels. Especially in the chorus.

Tilian is SO much better than Cove. Sure, Cove helped Saosin thrive at one time, but he also let it get to a point of detriment. It attributed to the band's decline in popularity. Tilian compared to Cove post-Saosin is a godsend. He at least sounds the same live as he does on record.

Honestly, Saosin fans aren't gonna like this because it's not Cove or Anthony. We get that they have a different sound with different vocalists. Anthony fans generally hate Cove and I bet Cove fans hate Tilian, but he's not in the band. So chill out, either listen or leave, and remember that no one cares about your opinion.

Too many effects on the vocals. But way better than the last CD in my opinion. Of course they were best with AG, but I really liked the self-titled album too. The last LP was garbage.
