It's nice to see a different take and some explanation for once. Honestly, me too. I’m level 34 almost done with Pagos and it hasn’t been too painful at all. I went from level 20 fresh off the boat in Pagos to level 34 in literally two days (about 8 hours total).
Thank you for clearing up the light and crystal drops. I went in and got up to chain 30 with no crystal drops I was so confused. Now I know I need to grind to 25 before I can start farming that stuff =)
My biggest pet peeve with Eureka was never the grinding itself but why i was grinding, if i could grind a levelling class was one thing but levelling a class already levelled just "because", never made sense to me =(

Hello there, what’s the fastest way to grind the anemos crystals ? The gear I create there is it for useable in 5.3 baldasian arsenal ? That’s why I been grinding it I hate stopping something once I start tho 😂
I just started 14 again after several years Hiatus. Basically I came back in ARR and finished most of the content then around level 45 at the time I believe it was 2013 , there was a content drought and I was playing other games at the time so I just baled out. I came back during the quarantine this year and am about two thirds of the way through Stormblood. I guess my question is. Should I even bother with this Eureka stuff right now or just plow on through the MSQ through to Shadowbringers and then once I’ve gone through all that maybe come back to have fun with Erueka ?
Just do MSQ. There's so much more content you can get out of the game that isn't Eureka. Eureka is of course something good to do, but, as a relic weapon, it's not at all required. It's just glamour and for the experience of doing it
I personally don’t think Pagos is bad at all. Then again I came from the era of MMOs which this is supposed to mimic but I was able to get through it just fine as sage.
I remember that when I finally was done with the first area and was going to Pagos people were telling me that Pagos is hell, how much they hated it and some that, yeah, stopped playing Eureka when they went to Pagos. But after going through it myself... I don't get it! I love Pagos. It's fun to me and had no issues with it at all. I'm about to go to Hydatos for the first time but so far Pagos is my favourite zone.
Pagos was terrible. Falling off cliffs onto the wrong ledge, getting owned by dragons, booking it to HOPE you survive the nasties. On the plus side it was the quickest zone. Got my 2 weapons fast once I was level capped.

And it's pronounced ['louhi], so the l is like in "lack", o is like in "more" but shorter, the u is like in "book" but shorter, the h as in "horse", and the i like in "see" but shorter. And the stress in on the first syllable "lou".
I got to the final Eureka area in about a week but to finish the Eureka weapon took a few more days and finished Eureka outside of BA at about the end of week 2.
It seems you have people helping in most of the various fates, but you are not always in a group. How many people should be participating before you attempt these?
Mr Happy what are your strats for grinding do you prep the NM and do it afterwards or do you run NM trains even if you are too low level to get full rewards? what's your grinding strat 9 hours it's pretty impressive
I ran into this problem in XI, I didnt know you could walk, cat jumped on my keyboard and I started walking. 20 minutes later, still walking because I didn't know how to go back! It's / btw lol
Brothers don’t go thru* “Mutation” but “Adaptation”. A boss such as Holy Cow does mutate and so if is gonna die before it changes for, hold dps, you’ll get far more light that way.
Not really one of your better videos, Hap. You didn't say Jack about the deadfalls/DOTs or frozen voids, for example. Nor did you bother to mention that the reason why you have to walk past the sleeping dragons is because they'll most likely one-shot you, and nobody really wants to walk in to rez you.
The major thing wrong with Pagos is twitch streamers that would rather do less to get more, like to say what content they personally think is acceptable in FFXIV and their followers jump on board. Now FFXIV expansions are judged by their story first and foremost, content is on the back end of review scores. Meanwhile the FFXIV community thinks its perfectly fine to justify a subscription MMO to drip feed them story updates every 4 months, and base the MSQ as 95% of the reason an expac was "good" or not. God forbid we get content for people who enjoy grinding in an mmorpg. Every other type of content? Maps, crafting, PvP, raids, dungeons, mini games, Glamour's, we got something for everyone in FFXIV!!!... Except for people who like grindy stuff like Pagos and Eureka as a whole, they can shut up and be told their opinion is wrong!!!
I agree on your points but Pagos was bad, as someone who mostly enjoyed Eureka and hit 35 in the first week of Pagos being out, it was a bit too much of a grind imo

@@Zayindjejfj the game content is stale and mediocre for the most part, because they have people in the community screaming at the top of their lungs as to why everyone should play FFXIV because "THE STORY IS AMAZING" its a twofold problem. FFXIV gets away with playing it safe, content droughts and repeats, simply because the game reviewers play on expac release and slap their score on the honeymoon new expac experience. As expansions go on, they need content to justify a subscription. Stormblood had more content than any other expac to date, but gets shit on because "story" Its clear what the playerbase wants. They want safe content that can be done without effort, and they want story on a drip feed and RP content. Raiders get content every 7 months, gear up, get bored, then unsub. This is the life-cycle of an FFXIV expac. Its won't change until Yoshi-P steps down as director in 7.0 or 8.0 or whenever that will be.

I will say this Yoshida and the dev team wanting to make Relics more like Eureka is honestly great, Its fine that Bozja is going to have 2 paths a Non Eureka Path and a Eureka Path. The only thing thats making Content Drought really bad right now is because of Corona, we have been waiting 6 months for 5.3.

i wish i could get back into this, the whm weapon looks awesome, sadly the servers i play on are completely dead on this content....
Even if they are dead, eureka enemies scale with the number of players in the instance. So, you should still be able to participate.

Eureka is one of my favorite pieces of content from ffxiv and Pagos is my favorite area there.
