That BB cream has been my staple for years! I’m 55 and I get compliments on my skin all the time. Since my 20s I’ve worn virtually every brand of high end foundation and nothing comes close to this. I only started using this BB Cream by accident-I didn’t have time to get to Ulta to get my Benefit so I ran to target to get a cheapie. I was so impressed I’ve never looked back. :)

You criticize, or maybe critique, is a better word as I think most of us do when we apply makeup. I happen to just love wearing makeup. It gives me my confidence for the day and I just feel better!!! Your approach to “making up” is real. You have a light hand and, thus, the finished project (YOU) looks natural in spite of a face “dressed” for the day!!! Thank you so much for keeping it real!!!
I don’t wear drugstore makeup , however , I have to try the bb! I use saie and love it, but I may have to try the bb cream. It seems to have such a glow and such good reviews. My aunt , who would be like over 100 now , used maybelline and I have to say , even in her old age , she was always gorgeous!! Always! She had beautiful skin even at almost 90. Speaks volumes for maybelline really.

Yep, I get that flaking, pilling up, too. I am fighting sensitive rosacea skin. Having trouble finding a good sun block that doesn't leave me with a white-cast. I would love to hear about your upcoming surgery. Thanks for being real.
I got you girl! Solution found~problem solved 😃I use lancer "the method polish" every single morning. My dermatologist explained to me the importance of retiinols... simply exfoliating is good but retinols are GREAT because an exfoliator can't help with elasticity and firming and reducing deep wrinkles. I use retinol nightly and exfoliate in the morning. WOW the results are phenomenal. The only sensitive area for me is under the eyes (Crow's feet). I apply a thick cream by la roche posay called lipkiar ap balm+ which is basically like an oil in lotion and it does the trick!

I call it “face dandruff” and it’s been the bane of my makeup existence for the last 5+ years at least. For me it’s a combination of retinol use but more-so too many layers of skincare. I think it only really started happening since I adopted a multi-step skincare regimen plus sunscreen. That’s why I’m always curious how influencers layer spf and other priming products. Sometimes I get it right but more often than not, I get it wrong and I’m chasing crumbles around with a spooly.
Amen🎉 it took me half a dozen attempts, but once it clicked, it clicked. That’s why I urge women to keep playing with it because it is a totally different way of doing make up.
If you ever can get your hands on some Canadian cosmetics, make sure to try the Marcelle Nano brow pencil or the Annabelle Skinny Brow liner. It's just as good as the Brow Whiz. If you love the Maybelline pencil you have to try the Brow Fast Sculp brow gel from them! That mascara makes your lashes look like extensions!
You said it - I go through the peels as the strength of the retinoid increases! After years of otc retinol and retinaldehyde, I started tretinoin earlier this year and just last night noticed how much smoother my jawline is than my before pics a few months ago. I've learned my skin's cues to take a day off, so unless I traveled or the season is changing, the peels are pretty limited. I really had to work up to daily use slowly, and again when I increase product strength. The rest of my routine is super basic for skin barrier health and sun protection. I can feel my skin wince when I see some of the routines online with so many different actives!

I have a favorite eye liner combo from Maybelline. It’s their gel potted liner in dark brown color and the tattoo eye liner in olive green color put on top. It’s really pretty together. I apply like a double liner like the ol Bobbi brown way.

Have you tried Milani blonde eyebrow pencil? That's all i used until I went back to brunette. That's when I found the Maybelline soft brown and dark brown master precise one that you used in this video. Great video!!♡
Michelle, I tried a makeup hack I saw online last night. It worked. It’s a hack for hooded eye’s. You take a spoon and use it as ur guide to apply your eye shadow crease shade. It really opened up my hooded eye. I did not think it would work but it did. 😮
I was using the Maybelline BB cream for my travel makeup because it's in a plastic container vs. glass. I never really liked it, but it was good enough. I recently tried the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator (plastic tube, lightweight for travel) and it's amazing.
Its peeling and rubbings because you have one or many products how have film forming and do wrinkle filler temporary in it; Dimethicone,.polysilicones, polymer etc... So when you have this problem, you must tap and not expand all products including the one that has it and the following ones to avoid removing this film!!!!
Hi Michelle - I have used retinol for years and yes sometimes I get the sluffing- I tell you what gets rid of it for me I use Makeup eraser - it has two sides one to wash your face and the other to remove the layers so that your face is smooth - you might want to give it a try - I find it really gets rid of the extra skin
Mine does the same about 3-7 days AFTER shaving AND that’s almost always after 1-3 days in a row of wearing makeup (I usually don’t wear makeup everyday).

What shade is the 4in 1 glow are you using? Also do I need to get that and the age rewind? What does the age rewind do again? I am right in front of the display and the 4in 1 glow only has the 1.5
Skin peeling/pilling aside, because that’s life- I use Tret nightly a very low dose- this make up is absolutely lovely on you! So natural and radiant and beautiful!
Yes this happens to me as well. I am having it happen now bc of using the Musely peel. It didn’t start until 6 days later after using the peel & it’s so annoying.
I use mine everyday girl. It depends on the weather also. When it’s cold in Louisiana the humidity goes. That sometimes makes me flake. I don’t use foundation everyday either so my skin doesn’t show the flakes n i exfoliate like you do and I also do it again before foundation. Hang in there and extra moisturizing is wonderful!! I know you do all of that but I also drink 2-3 liters of water daily. That is a must for me also being 72+. It plumps from the inside. You will have days like that mostly in winter time. You will breeze through the spring summer and early fall. Late fall and winter I do some weeks every other night. Michelle, I too was getting tired of using the Nuface… it took so much time! I couldn’t keep up with it when I first got it so I returned it when you mentioned the Claireblend Mini. I got a brand new Mini on eBay for $219 and it works perfectly. There is a channel on here by Christine Byers who is a clinical aesthetician… 22 or 23 years, I believe... Yes I have shedding or balling up issues just thought I was putting on too much skincare. I’m looking for a good sunscreen to use under Seint. I would love to see how you shave your face. Omg! Yes this happens to me whenever I use loreal hyluronic acid or neutrogena products with retinal. I don't use them very often now but I just don't want to throw them out because they cost a lot of money. Soooo frustrating!!
I use tretinoin. It mostly doesn't flake on me, but I do wash my face using a muslin wash cloth. That and shaving my skin is the holy grail. I do love the maybelline BB cream. It's a staple for me. It looks better ALL DAY than the BJones Road WTF and the Dior Forever Glow. The paint pots crease on me no matter what! :(
My face peels sometimes too from the same reason. But honestly, I can’t even tell with you. I know you see it. But you’re skin looks smooth and beautiful on camera.
I don’t use retinol & the shedding has happened to me from time to time on my temples. I have a mild case of psoriasis but not on my temples. Such a pain!

What concealer brush is that ? I like you always keep it real but honestly I could not see your skin peeling. Maybe it’s my 54 yr old eyes but as usual you look amazing.
I had the same problem and then one night I lightly rubbed my face all over and caused and removed the piling. This was with a full face of makeup at the end of the day. Haven't had the problem since.
I have been using a chemical exfoliation lotion and I am getting those ate temples and also my chin and right under my neck! Very frustrating!!! I feel you!
Have you tried putting some bb cream on your neck so your face and neck are the same colour? I find that I have to because of sun damage/discoloration.
I do! I especially like to use bronzer on my neck and I love the Westmore beauty for my neck and chest because it’s a body perfect her make up but I hate to remove it at the end of the night
My retinaldehyde flaking theory: If I use more than 2 pumps (I use Avène 0.1) on the main surface of my face, the next day, pilling/flakes. (This feels like it is not quite enough to cover everything, but when I go in for that 3rd pump, I wake up with crumbles.) I’ve tried troubleshooting this for the past couple months, and for me, this is the most consistent explanation. So, it may be a dosage situation.
Michelle....have you ever done a IPL fotofacial? They are amazing! It lifts brown spots, eliminates broken capillaries and tightens like a lift. I do one about once a year and the results are amazing. Best of all, they're only about $200!
Turned out very pretty! I'm with you on the retin a journey.. At 54 I wish I would have stuck with the program but I just haven't been able to stick out the ugly phase.
I have VERY light blonde eyebrows and have NEVER found an eyebrow pencil that doesn’t look red with a blonde pencil. The one I use most often is Ash Brown by L’Oréal I believe. Hard to find also. Usually have to order❤️❤️
This is real life, Michelle. I pill/ball just using skincare. This is why I have given up on makeup. I still try now and again and it goes fine, then bam the next time, what a mess. At least you fixed the makeup, I just wash it all off.
The shedding from trentinoin is so real! Ive used for 12 yrs now so I’m very tolerant now-shed rarely. Try getting hydra facials once a month! They help remove the dead skin layers that you can’t do at home with a washcloth. But don’t stop the trentinoin ever! You will build a tolerance and your skin will be Radient! ( you look great now!) but the shedding will lessen and hydrapeel will help you get through it.
My skin seems to be always peeling even though I don't use any kind of retinol or even moisturizer with Niacinamide or squalene. Both of those burn my skin and literally hurt me. I stick to the basics but still peel all the time. Thank you for posting this video even though you weren't happy with your makeup. Ps. I just purchased many of the demi colors and brushes from your Seint store. You color matched me about a year ago and I still have it. Will buy the Seint makeup of I love the demi.

I have a tube of arnica gel roll on, I wasn’t using anymore, so I use it on my under eyes to de puff.

Retin-A has always made my skin peel off at first. After a while it does my skin good. It keeps my skin looking younger than without.
Try using Cerave tinted sunscreen. That is the only sunscreen that doesn’t make me shed.

elf makes a product, the Halo Glow Filter, I think it’s called, that’s an even better dupe for the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter.

yes, dont love the color. Its really hard to find good blondes in drugstore, Maybelline is the best for my brows
I usually just apply Trent annoying creams in the evening and during the day I like Sara Bay hyaluronic acid serum I think it's really good

What shade is the 4in 1 glow are you using? Also do I need to get that and the age rewind? What does the age rewind do again? I am right in front of the display and the 4in 1 glow only has the 1.5
Skin peeling/pilling aside, because that’s life- I use Tret nightly a very low dose- this make up is absolutely lovely on you! So natural and radiant and beautiful!
Also, if you’re super uncomfortable with the sloughing, try a lower dose of Tret.

Yes this happens to me as well. I am having it happen now bc of using the Musely peel. It didn’t start until 6 days later after using the peel & it’s so annoying.

I use mine everyday girl. It depends on the weather also. When it’s cold in Louisiana the humidity goes. That sometimes makes me flake. I don’t use foundation everyday either so my skin doesn’t show the flakes n i exfoliate like you do and I also do it again before foundation. Hang in there and extra moisturizing is wonderful!! I know you do all of that but I also drink 2-3 liters of water daily. That is a must for me also being 72+. It plumps from the inside. You will have days like that mostly in winter time. You will breeze through the spring summer and early fall. Late fall and winter I do some weeks every other night. I got a brand new Mini on eBay for $219 and it works perfectly. There is a channel on here by Christine Byers who is a clinical aesthetician… 22 or 23 years, I believe... Yes I have shedding or balling up issues just thought I was putting on too much skincare. I’m looking for a good sunscreen to use under Seint. I would love to see how you shave your face. Omg! Yes this happens to me whenever I use loreal hyluronic acid or neutrogena products with retinal. I don't use them very often now but I just don't want to throw them out because they cost a lot of money. Soooo frustrating!!

I use tretinoin. It mostly doesn't flake on me, but I do wash my face using a muslin wash cloth. That and shaving my skin is the holy grail. I do love the maybelline BB cream. It's a staple for me. It looks better ALL DAY than the BJones Road WTF and the Dior Forever Glow. The paint pots crease on me no matter what! :(
I wear Clinique tint. U look great 👍 makes me what to change..like clean beauty

I don’t use retinol & the shedding has happened to me from time to time on my temples. I have a mild case of psoriasis but not on my temples. Such a pain!

I had the same problem and then one night I lightly rubbed my face all over and caused and removed the piling. This was with a full face of makeup at the end of the day. Haven't had the problem since.
I have been using a chemical exfoliation lotion and I am getting those ate temples and also my chin and right under my neck! Very frustrating!!! I feel you!

Have you tried putting some bb cream on your neck so your face and neck are the same colour? I find that I have to because of sun damage/discoloration.
I do! I especially like to use bronzer on my neck and I love the Westmore beauty for my neck and chest because it’s a body perfect her make up but I hate to remove it at the end of the night

My retinaldehyde flaking theory: If I use more than 2 pumps (I use Avène 0.1) on the main surface of my face, the next day, pilling/flakes. (This feels like it is not quite enough to cover everything, but when I go in for that 3rd pump, I wake up with crumbles.) I’ve tried troubleshooting this for the past couple months, and for me, this is the most consistent explanation. So, it may be a dosage situation.
Michelle....have you ever done a IPL fotofacial? They are amazing! It lifts brown spots, eliminates broken capillaries and tightens like a lift. I do one about once a year and the results are amazing. Best of all, they're only about $200!

I have VERY light blonde eyebrows and have NEVER found an eyebrow pencil that doesn’t look red with a blonde pencil. The one I use most often is Ash Brown by L’Oréal I believe. Hard to find also. Usually have to order❤️❤️

This is real life, Michelle. I pill/ball just using skincare. This is why I have given up on makeup. I still try now and again and it goes fine, then bam the next time, what a mess. At least you fixed the makeup, I just wash it all off.

The shedding from trentinoin is so real! Ive used for 12 yrs now so I’m very tolerant now-shed rarely. Try getting hydra facials once a month! They help remove the dead skin layers that you can’t do at home with a washcloth. But don’t stop the trentinoin ever! You will build a tolerance and your skin will be Radient! ( you look great now!) but the shedding will lessen and hydrapeel will help you get through it.

My skin seems to be always peeling even though I don't use any kind of retinol or even moisturizer with Niacinamide or squalene. Both of those burn my skin and literally hurt me. I stick to the basics but still peel all the time. Thank you for posting this video even though you weren't happy with your makeup. Ps. I just purchased many of the demi colors and brushes from your Seint store. You color matched me about a year ago and I still have it. Will buy the Seint makeup of I love the demi.
