I’m so glad to find you right off the bat. I’m 49 this year and being on estrogen blockers the last 5 years has really aged me. But, tonight I thought I should try to learn to beauty routine and put some effort into it. I really enjoy your down to earth approach. You’ve taken away a lot of my anxiety already about learning to deal with aging and make up and skin care. I’m starting at ground zero lol. Estrogen blockers???? why block estrogen? Yes, estrogen is our pretty youthful gene and that is why aging robs us, the depletion estrogen. But doing feminine things can psychologically make us feel more feminine! Makeup! Hair! Good skin care! Dressing with intent! I’m here if you have questions or specific needs!

I am 57 have dark circles hooded eyes so I’m going to be catching all your vlogs to get the best advice from you and you understand the problems I’m facing unlike some of the other channels who just put so much concealer etc on . I didn't start wearing sunscreen until I hit 50 ... GASP. So good for you for starting in the 90s! Now I'm 54, and age has caught up with me. This is one reason why I really appreciate women like you, who are showing us how to properly apply makeup to our more mature faces. I just can't use the same techniques that I used when I was younger. ❤❤

I'm in my early 40's and I have combination skin and loved using powders......I used to love using powders....now I'm getting that cakey look..and just had to stop... now I just use the lightest amount of powder to set my bb cream. Yes! ALWAYS a magnification mirror! And if it’s lit, better yet. Anything that mimics daylight will do well for makeup!

I'm super late to watching your videos, but I absolutely am loving watching them. You make this seem so doable, and I appreciate that. I definitely have red cheeks. I am going to start practicing just putting concealer where I need it. That is such a new concept for me, after having teenage girls who do the conceal/bake thing. (I can't do that, it looks awful on me).

Ok, you are fun. Anyone who sees a blob of extra moisturizer on her table and decides to add it to her face is my kinda girl. Literal LOL. I love your honesty and acceptance of the aging process while still enjoying the fun of looking good. Now what are the chances there's another you out there that just doesn't do the prescriptions? I'm having a heck of a time finding an over 40 person with your take on things that isn't on tretanoin. Still loving all your advice and I'm hear for those hooded eye tips!! ❤️

Hey Stephanie, I actually don’t believe in contouring mature faces unless someone holds weight in their face and wants to sculpt it. When you contour mature faces generally, it makes the face look older, never younger. Don’t be fooled by younger MUA and influencers.
I love your videos. I'm 38 and work part time as an actor in the theatre. I don't wear full stage makeup because I work in a small theatre so it is not necessary. I'd love to see a contouring video as it would give me a slightly stronger look on stage without being over the top.

We hate the “drop”!!!! No, the cake liner hasn’t been messy with my dry eye but I also use restasis drops daily!

I love your channel! I’m 41 and wonder if you can suggest affordable skin care for someone that is clueless about what to use... I literally use neutrogena soap, witch hazel toner, and curel lotion at night or cereve sun screen moisturizer during the day. Beyond that, I don’t know where to begin but I’m starting to notice lines and some changes I’d like to get ahold of 😏 I just can’t spent more than drugstore prices

One beauty trick I learned from a french girl is not putting foundation on your nose and using a lighter bb cream/ tinted moisturizer instead. Small change but it just makes your whole face look more natural for some reason.

You are so fun. My daughter and I just finished watching this video. She is almost 18 and kept commenting on how pretty you are. I am almost 49. I have always taken care of my skin but as I am getting older I am wanting to make sure I know how to take care of my skin and wear makeup so that I still look good. I LOVE that you are a clean makeup person. I am too. I primarily use Burts Bees products. All that said I love lip gloss. I am not a lipstick fan. Could you tell me what the gloss you used today was? It is beautiful and subtle which is just up my ally. Last thing...I was so glad to hear you say you don't like foundation. I have NEVER worn it. EVER. Granted I have lovely skin so its easy for me to say... but I just don't like the feel of it. I started about 2.5 or so years ago wearing a BB cream with sunscreen in it. But I never plan on wearing anything else. Thank you so much for your videos. I am really enjoying them. So thankful I found you.

I think Seint cream makeup is made for mature skin! I used IT years ago and it's in my PRO kit but this Seint is so much prettier, even after 10 hours

I don’t know of any. I do bleach highlights which don’t touch my scalp but also a toner for a few minutes which does. I use the Pravana line

My concealer settles in my pores. What can I do for that? No primer I've tried had helped
Some brands settle into my pores too. Some don’t. I stick with the ones that don’t and I rarely use a primer but have you tried Milk Hydro Grip?
Blinc is great, but $20 plus. No 7 makes a tubular mascara that is great! $11 ish

No, they never change colors. What couldn't you find? Highlights are In Highlight category under Makeup tab, Demi is all in Demi tab, even Demi brushes.

Really enjoying your videos... At 57 I totally feel you about the lower half of the face aging more rapidly especially my jowl area...yikes! I love Thrive mascara because it gives me awesome lashes and its a tube mascara and my eyes are so sensitive. I would love to see a video on correcting redness. I have a stubborn small broken capillary on my cheek and can never seem to camouflage it. I am afraid to do laser for fear it might make it worse so I would love to see that video! I love less is more looks...so pretty and that's all I wear.

I recently starting facial massages in my nighttime routine. Have you considered facial massages for anti ageing?
Now that I'm over 40, I notice bags under my eyes and I'm anticipating more crows feet and face dropping ...It's just a given.
I have done massage and gua sha and it does help temporarily but as you age it won’t help much with laxity

I’m very much into being thankful for what God has given me and what he would be pleased with.You have pretty skin and I would love watching a lady that ages as it comes. We’re pretty and how we dress and act is just me , not too young or too old. I will always wear youthful clothes . I’ve loved having my hair long. It’s truly me, though. No one my age has long hair. I have deep 11’s lines but no fillers or Botox for me, either.
