OMG. I totally squealed. The Prym Ergonomic have been my favorite since first holding them on an A&C knitting cruise in 2019. I promptly bought every size of knitting needle, DPN, and crochet hook even though I had been a confirmed Addi devotee prior. And now, cobranded carbons, be still my heart. Christmas is early this year at the Beard household. Well done friends. ❤❤Shirley

I live in southern Florida, but I keep knitting giant warm beautiful sweaters while listening to your channel. I learned in Denmark many years ago while in school there for a year. One other great thing about the Prym needles are they are a lot safer for kids to knit with. When my grandkids come over and want to knit with me I don’t have to worry about them pocking themselves.❤

This was very fun! I'd be like Arne too, claiming all the needles LOL. I'm impressed by the variety of needles that Prym makes.
I love the composite/ergonomics that I learned from you guys. It made my knitting finally "click": I'm originally a crocheter and was having the hardest time learning how to knit. Those needles helped me stop strangling the needle and start actually knitting LOL
Since I crochet a lot, I already have my favorite crochet hook and was a bit skeptical trying new ones. But I did try the ergonomic ones and love them! The tip of the hook is perfect for crocheting tight amigurumi type of things: the needle gets where it needs to go and it holds the yarn. For me, though, they didn't become my go-to hooks because I have small hands and hold the hook in the pencil grip. In the Prym ergonomic hooks the distance between the tip and the place where I rest my thumb is too large for my hand, so it's awkward for me; for knife grip holders it's perfect!
Anyway, thank you for introducing me to the Prym products. I now know there's a lot more fun stuff to check out (I'd love to get my hands on your limited edition and the Tunisian interchangeable)🥰🥰🥰

Oh my heavens! The first ones you unboxed..... those lovely white ones, I have the dpn's for knitting with pure linen... sooo comfortable to hold.
Arne, I just relearned to purl after 60 years of knitting thanks to you! My purl has never been very good so I usually knit in the round, but I bought an Alice Starmore kit that is knit flat. I learned your Norwegian purl from your videos and it has corrected my tension problems on my purl rows! Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Thank you so much for showing us Norwegian Purl. I think I might try these Prym needles with the rounded tip and see how I like it for purl rows.

I had no idea that Prym’s product line was so vast. I will most definitely have to pick up the Tunisian crochet set, and the carbon needles.
I LOVE PRYM CROCHET HOOKS - I didn't know they have a Tunisian line - I have multiple different brands of Tunisian hooks - but the PRYM hooks with the colored handles are my absolute favorite hooks - I have tried a ton of different brands and Prym are my very very favorite! xo

Wow! Wish Prym would send me a box like that! I love their needles and hooks and am trying to get a complete-(ish) set, but I had to order the carbon dpn’s from Germany to get them. If I have anything left after I pay my property taxes this winter I’ll treat myself to a few more. Your boxes are beautiful!

I use the Prym Ergonomic Crochet hooks in various sizes, and these hooks are good to use because of arthritis in my right fingers and wrist. They allow me to crochet for longer periods of time without excess pain.

I have recently purchased a set of Prym ergonomic needles and I'm very impressed. Finally my fingers won't be cut to pieces from metal knitting needles. It would be nice if they had a wide variety of sizes
Love lov love the Prym crochet hooks, although they can be sticky with cotton .

Thank you for this reveal. I jumped on Amazon while watching this video and my new Prym Ergonomic Cable, 8 US, arrived two hours ago. I love how much easier it makes catching the yarn when flicking. Thanks to you two as well for encouraging the switch to much lower hand tension. No more carry the yarn over the gap, forefinger dip to wrap the purl stitch for me. It only took an hour or so to switch how I have knitted for half a century.
I have fallen in love with the bamboo needles in the pink case. I must get some. Thank you for showing us about different needles and giving your insights.
I absolutely love love love Prym Ergonomics, I have them in DPNs & circulars! They aren't easily purchased in the US, I have a friend traveling to Europe soon & she will be questing for more Pryms! Thanks for introducing them to us, I think it was a few years ago! 🦄
The ergonomic straights are fantastic, I’ve been knitting for 50 years and they’re the best I’ve ever used and I’ve tried all kinds!!
I love birch needles. I seem to wear out the points on bamboo, although they are good while they last.
Hi, I wish I could remember. But there are some types of yarn that stick to metal needles and one needs to use wood or perhaps plastic. Love the needles!

The Prym circulars with the little ball on the end are excellent for arthritis in the hands. I lovelove them. My one complaint is that they need to extend the sizes and the cord length and that would be heaven.
It's nice that the sets come with carrying cases.

I have bought some ergonomic needles after I saw you talk about them and find they are great, my only comment is they don’t have very long cables and the smallest size is 3.00mm . But I love to knit with them so I hope they extend the range soon ❤

I have the Prym Tunisian crochet set, but mine came in a basic clear plastic wallet. Which is fine, as it saved me loads of money! I use them for ordinary crocheting, too.
You haven't got the interchangeable knitting needles in metal that i have (Knit Pro is another brand name of Prym's) in 'Zing'. They were a game changer for me. I really prefer metal needles, as they have less friction than the wood. Finally, I bought some large needles and hooks in the 'Trenz' - but they're plastic and they just don't feel as good in the hand.

Congratulations! I just found your channel and then you have my favorite knitting needles! I found them in the spring when I returned to knitting and was teaching someone else to knit. Needles . Would be great to have an array of all of them . I have only ever used metal needles. They ARE quite slippery and hence annoying at times . You guys are a delight to visit with .

Love this episode! All my needles after while have a bit of a bend even the metal. I have gotten loose the more I knit but like my needles with the bends. I like the warmth of the wood and the ware that happens with use. I want to try the carbon needles. Cool idea for the cowl pattern link.
