This episode kind of plays out like a PhD soap opera. Prof Susskind asks class in beginning to not interrupt like Sidney Coleman did unless they are a Sidney Coleman level or higher. (spongebob voice) 10 minutes later - Suss explains the Einstein Rosen bridge, and the mysterious interrupter tells some stupid joke and one person laughs setting off a primal group response, invoking laughter in a segment of the crowd. This was the mysterious man's class for those 10 seconds. I wonder what Suss will do to get back at mystery man in next episode of Science Wars
I'm not a theoretical physicist by any spaghettification of the imagination, but I have a series of questions. Do we know black holes are or are not inherently an entanglement of sorts, specifically the timeframe spanning the beginning to the end of disentanglement? A black hole is basically a collapsed star, correct? So, maybe that spacetime collapse also begins the collapse of its entanglement? Collapsing entanglement results in a splitting of the previously entangled spacetime until two separate spacetime exist. What if the wormhole is the narrow band that emerges as disentanglement splits the entangled spacetime into two separate spacetimes? If that is true, then perhaps the Hawking radiation consists of particles sucked in by the oppositely entangled black hole that are entangled with the partucles sucked in by the black hole spewing the Hawking radiation and vice-versa?
what is the name of the conjecture at minute 8.55? Can someone give me some references?

In this model do the heavily entangled black holes have to have the same mass/spin/charge? Do differences in these effect entanglement? Does the expansion of the universe mean effect the entanglement?

That initial sidney coleman story was a great kickoff to an otherwise standard theory of everything lecture. It is so interesting to see these brilliant minds absorb the information. I'm completely ignorant, be gentle with me. If there is quantum entanglement, could we imagine that on a different scale where it occurs on opposite (or adjacent) sides of a bridge. I'm not sure I'll be able to understand a reply, but I'd apprecite it if you could structure it simply

How did you come to this conclusion? About a year ago I got to the same conclusion because of the similarities between electric and gravitational fields. Their intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source.
