You missed two albums that are maybe my favourite The First Annual which was eventually released in 1987 and Heathen Earth which is perhaps a 100% live album but feels like a studio release to me.

Heathen Earth is gold. I (think) there is also a video of that performance.

Peter did actually have a 'cool name' Peter 'sleazy' Christopherson..... oh and the name of the band derives from s slang term for an erection and has nothing to do with cartilage.... The manifesto of 'Industrial' is thus 'If it can make a sound it can be sampled and made into music' they specifically forced band members to pick up the instruments they were least suitable or comfortable playing to discover sounds not yet discovered.... Industrial is an umbrella term meaning not all the music sounds like drills and clanging metal but is a reflection of what is going on in the environment around you.... There most definitely is a First annual report but you need to look for it online.... all in all a fascinating time in music history one I personally think had much more influence and was more important that punk.... but that's just my opinion ;)

D.o.A was the first one I had, an original Industrial Records copy minus the calendar, then 2nd Annual Report (cut backwards, very rare) on Fetish and I sold them both when I was hard-up!!!! For pittance. Yeah, D.oA is my fave- most definitely. They are, nothing less than "the wreckers of civilization" They ROCK still

I enjoyed your video! I like your descriptions of Chris Carter’s whirring and beepings! As someone also mentioned, Heathen Earth is pretty essential. Fun review!

Despite the fact that they did a lot of problematic stuff by todays standards, they really changed the game and opened a doorway. They really pioneered the genre-less, non musician musical approach we see everywhere today

Very nice review about an incredible band. And also, I love the Marx-Engels-Lenin poster

So many releases omitted... Heathen Earth being essential and one of their big four releases. Those that appreciated this video would be advised to check it out.
( Peter had the coolest stage name of them all, btw = "Sleazy")

Honestly, this is a video I feel like doing a part two on. Would definitely mention Heathen Earth in that.

First it comes the Pleasure of an amazing Cultureproject, after the Intention becomes a Grave with a lot of historized blablabla. A Patchwork of Stereotypes for the fast Understanding. Unusully.
