  • Root Canal Teeth Removal Protocol by Holistic Dentist Dr. Gary Adams
    Steps for removing root canal teeth properly:
    marylandholist...
    Inject ozone O3 and oxygen O2 gas around the root canal tooth. Ozone will neutralize any bacterial and fungal infection that has spread into the surrounding bone. It will also reduce some of the inflammation caused by toxins leaking out of the tooth.
    Remove the root canal tooth in its entirety being sure not to leave any small pieces of root chips or gutta percha root filling material. Often times root canal teeth will be very brittle and can break into many small pieces. Also pieces of root canal filling material can be filled out the bottom of the tooth root. It is important to remove any filling material as it is a foreign body.
    Remove the periodontal ligament or PDL completely. If the periodontal ligament is not removed, the bone cells cannot migrate into the extraction site and grow bone properly. What can happen is bone and gum tissue will grow over the top of the extraction site, but bacteria will remain in the bottom of the bony socket where the tooth used to be. Bacteria, fungus and toxins can remain for years in old extraction sites and dump their by products into the blood and lymph of the body.
    Remove cyst and granulation tissue from the extraction site. The body will often grow cysts around the roots of the teeth to prevent the spread of toxins, bacteria and fungus. If the cysts are not removed the bacterial and fungal pathogens will remain vital in the extraction site. The cysts have their own blood supply and exchange nutrients ans waste with blood supply and lymph.
    Place oxygen and ozone into the cleaned extraction site. The gases can easily travel through the pores of the bone, killing any infections and promoting healing. Bone lacks a lot of blood supply, so it is very susceptible to infection.
    Place PRF or platelet rich fibrin and completely fill the extraction socket. Do not place any foreign or off the shelf bone graft products. The body will more than likely reject the material and there will be further inflammation and immunological consequences.
    Place sutures to proximate as closely as possible any gum tissue that may be loose. The sutures can also act to hold the PRF into the extraction site.
    Allow 4 - 6 weeks of healing and re-evaluation the site for proper healing. Administer additional ozone if necessary. Placement of implants can be considered at this time if there is no infection and adequate bone. If necessary, bone grafting and PRF treatments can be performed. Sometimes implants and grafting can be done at the same time.
    A new documentary called “Root Cause” is now available to watch on Netflix and Amazon. Root Cause details some of the medical concerns about root canals and jaw bone infection. Root canals are thought by many to cause breast cancer, cancer and autoimmune disease.

I asked a conventional oral surgeon to remove the PDL along with the tooth and he replied, "Technically, the PDL comes out when the tooth is extracted." What exactly are conventional oral surgeons taught in the oral surgery specialty dental schools?????

    I am 70. I had a root canal filled tooth removed 2 weeks ago. It was quite a difficult one with more injections needed. I saw the complete 2 roots on the bench afterwards. The socket gave me no trouble after. 3 days later, I thought I was having a stroke. Had emergency ambulance to hospital. Brain scan clear and no signs of stroke. They say possibly due to extraction. Now I have more to be removed and frankly I'm terrified to go back. The pain pressure in my head was brutal and if it happened again I wouldn't be surprised to have a stroke or brain bleed. How was the tooth removed? Did the dentist use ozone and oxygen gas therapy and did you have your blood drawn, PRF processed and placed into the site? All these things are what helps a root canal extraction site heal properly. All that being said, root canal teeth can have severe infections and an extraction adds trauma to already infected bone. Of course it is going to hurt. You should follow up with the dentist who removed the tooth just to be sure it is healing properly. If it does not heal properly, maybe have a holistic dentist take a look at the site especially if you did not get ozone and PRF treatment.

      @@SereneOrthodontics I do not understand what you mean by ozone. he basically had some sort of red paste applied, then injected 3 rounds of anesteshia to the site ( it took that much) then preceded in extracting but it was so hard he ended up cuting the tooth in 3 pieces the crown first then the rest split in half, we ended up with several broken pieces and the whole pulling took a good 45 minutes I felt my jaws were going to dislocate. Anyways he inserted some sort of squarre ( cotton) 2 of them and then sew it. I was managing it tylenol and advil ( i had a prescription for tylenol #2 (codeine) in case I needed it) just fine followed the no straw, no spitting, soft food instruction to the T. @4hrs later i am in excruciating pain, none of the meds work, ended up taking that tylenol#2 but the pain was so bad I took it every 4 hours 3 times and called him and he put me on antibiotic it will be 24hrs on antibiotic in about 3 hours but the pain is horrible. I want to try just putting a clove under my tongue ( it is the 2nd mollar on the lower right) to see if the clove will work in combination with the advil. My dentist tells me I can’t do implants on my lower molars because they will fail after the pressure of chewing and bridges are my only option . I have 4 failing root canals that are over 30 years old. Well they got partially done when I was 15 and my parents didn’t take me back because of insurance reasons. I took myself when I was 21 and they did poor work. I’ve had nothing but problems since! Now I realize I should have just had the teeth pulled, but I was a kid so I didn’t have a say nor knowledge. Now I’m so sad about all this, it’s costly and my dentist is telling me a bridge on each side is my only option. I imagine feeling big pieces of plastic in my mouth. Is this true about implants ? I haven’t gotten a second opinion yet.

Now a year later for the first time since the root canal she is dealing with a different type of pain in that same tooth. I'm not quite sure what to do. I think the pain she was experiencing originated from when she was in elementary school. She went to the nurse complaining of her tooth it was loose, the nurse yanked her tooth out. I believe that's where the problems originated. In some years later she was playing on the driveway with something like a skateboard her little half brother stuck his foot in front of the wheels making her fly off hate hit face on the concrete damaging that same tooth plus the one right next to it. • @SereneOrthodontics
      @SereneOrthodontics  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ozone is O3 and it is bubble into the extraction site where it penetrates into the pores of the bone and kills anaerobic bacteria. Often antibiotics are not needed.

      Are you referring to ozone gas or water? Wouldn’t antibiotics also work at getting rid of remaining infection in the bone? Thanks!

      Munro Hall Clinic in Bedford. Not far from London. Proper holistic dentist, they use ozone, vit C infusions, also remove mercury fillings. I just had two root canals removed last week and everything went well:)

      @caroline378 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Journey11 you're welcome! it was £470 each, more if you get PRGF to improve healing which I would recommend. The extraction site needs to heal for a few months before you can get any replacement (although you can get temporary dentures straight away if you want). I'm still thinking about it, but basically it will be either permanent denture or zirconia implant. Still, most important is to get those teeth out first. I had breast cancer last year which I think root canals were partially to blame for.

      @@caroline378 thanks for the reply... my research led me to believe that for the implants they should be put in immediately? • @caroline378
      @caroline378 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@Journey11 I was told by the dentist it’s best to wait a few months for implants, that’s also what I read online. I’d get temporary dentures first if it’s the front teeth, but talk to them and I’m sure they’ll help you figure it out. It is expensive but it can potentially save you from years of illness. I wish I had done it earlier myself. Good luck! :)

      The body is all connected and most disease is cause by bacterial and fungal infections. Failing root canals typically have bacteria and fungus in them. No dentist or doctor can make an absolute connection like that, but it is a possibility. And certainly bacteria and fungus leaking into your body from a root canal is not a good thing.

      If you want a great dentist in NY. Go to Alexander M Barsky in Garden City Long Island. He uses a laser instead of a drill. A laser takes of much less enamel that using a drill. Google his name. Read the reviews on him. He's an amazing dentist.
