What happened was when I climbed on the box we used a tarp. When I came down the tarp had fallen over I did not see it and caused me trip. Honest mistake terrible outcome it was devastating. No hard feelings I messed. Take your time and double check everything.

I know that once you are on your own you are going to find your own way of doing things, but if you can't manage to follow instructions when they are right there looking over your shoulder, what is going to happen when you are out on your own.
Currently in the MDA at Maverick it's not bad as I thought it was gonna be I got lucky and got my own trainer out on the driving pad I learn better 1 on 1 anyways
Typical for Maverick. I drove for them for 7 years and gradually saw them turn around from being a good company to drive for to being too much like TMC. I finally had all I could stand and moved on.
With all due respect - You mentioned experienced trainers; I recall Neill Shane Otts being a trainer when he was fresh out of your training program. That seemed a little scary given he was pretty much fresh out of that training vice the years of experience you'd think would be required.
I’m aware that he worked as a trainer For a short while in the new hire/Securement program but not as a trainer truck. He was in there when I went through the new hire training
yes there friend if you would like ill tell you where to go and drive old style though theres plenty good places to go depends first and foremost how good are you at waiting etc--load--unload---lumpers--dirtbag dispatch haaa haa drive is one thing caught in a quagmire load after load is a whole other deal not for me
I take nothing in trucking seriously, those driver trainers are a joke and the whole business is a joke , I go out on the road do my job , safety and common sense and have fun , no serious b s just good old clean fun trucken nothing serious, no serious, it’s like I said trucking is a joke and a good one , it’s the best joke and it’s real funny nonsensical b s ok I will never take any driver trainer or boss serious never only Jesus the Lord ok sir so smarten up and get loose and have fun .
Maverick is Top Gun , when a trucking company uses that name it is like the nail that sticks out , it will get hammered trust me , a specially when Tom Cruse is Maverick, when I see a Maverick truck that’s the first thought that comes to mind the movie Top Gun bad name for a trucking company .

12-20-23 got my approval from maverick yesterday. Hair follicle test is first and hope to be on my way on the 30th! I’m excited
Currently in securement training. We did our steel coil evaluation today. Pretty excited to get into a truck and start actually working for Maverick.

Been interested in flatbed trucking. What's wrong with TMC or maverick? Trying to get more info before I try schooling
I went to maverick the other day and I got sent home my first day, apparently running on no sleep is no excuse to be late

Before they officially offer you a job, you get a physical and basic agility test
