I was just running a load down 91 in northern Vermont yesterday and drove through a white out blizzard out of nowhere. When it snows in Vermont it SNOWS!!

Wow. Just discovered your channel...drove OTR years ago, after teaching K-12 over 20 years, thinking about getting back out there again for a while, and have been perusing many trucker channels. Just wanted to say that you are badass, old school already, (and funny as hell!) and though I don't even know you, I'm proud of you...somehow you remind me of my tough grand daughter, Evelyn (though she's only 7). Becca you have a remarkable attitude which keeps you positive when things go south. Boy drivers have to do some waiting when there’s not enough people loading or unloading trucks that day. It seems the driver is always last on the list. Glad you are back being a single driver with your two puppies. Ya trying to pull crap out of a dogs butt is not my idea of having a fun day. Girl, you got me hooked up on your Vlog! I admire you cos most men including me, would think twice before doing flatbed. Not that I’m a truck driver but I’m a supervisor in a WHS where we only work with FBs trucks and it’s a very tough job. Teaming was ok when I first started, until I got the taste of what solo felt like! Now whenever I hear the thought of teaming I get mad! LOL It is hate for two people to get along in a tiny place and having the truck constantly moving!

I sometimes get tear in eyes because I miss the road but I no I will never drive a truck again. I retired my Kenworth & 48fb, a couple years ago. It's fun to see you going a lot of the places I went, nothing has changed nothing is better 🤣. Pro-tip put a twist or two in each side on your straps and then they won't wear out as fast and vibrate in the wind 🌬️

Merry Christmas to yah, I glad yah got your truck back doing the Solo thang , Myself always hated having a co-driver in my truck, then when I got sick with multiple health issues I thought he would do good solo 6 weeks in hit some black ice going to fast and TOTALLED my rig , I'll keep this G rated I was pissed, if yah know yah know. Becca, you should watch SuperTruckerDan, a flat bedder, he gives other people pointers on how he straps (no pun intended) his various loads,all kinds of weird freight, but, yes, check him out, he’s a veteran (besides a retired U.S. Army Veteran) of the flatbed securement. Happy trails!

Her fuel capacity with duel tanks is 300 gallons. Trucks normally only get 7 to 9 miles per gallon. There is no way for her to get across the US without filling her tanks three or four times.

Wyoming actually has IMO the best DOT websight of any. You can search travel advisories by routes. Makes it easier to plan when to stay and when to go. The port of entry has also been helpful.
