    I appreciate the showcase of my build SiN! To address the curiosity in the video. Surprisingly the base can make it to round 40 in the desert siege mode. All four of the cruiser cannons have clear LOS to the boss spawn positions, including the offset spawn in the desert. Testing and usage actually proved my ammo fabricators actually outpace the turret ammo usage and part way through the siege mode i actually need to shut them off so ammo doesn't pile up too high and cause lag issues. And the bottom mgs, i just didn't know what else to do with them from older builds and figured i'd slap them on for a little extra damage.

      Heya man, im sorry I was making all the wrong assumptions. Very well balanced base you got there that's amazing. Soon I'll be able to include testing the bases so I dont make the wrong calls.

      @@SiNKiLLeR_ To be honest, your assumptions and thoughts have infact brought up some thoughts to me on how my base can be further improved. I do appreciate other's opinions, helps to open up doors I hadn't thought to pay attention to.

    Hey! Thanks for featuring my base. Still a work in progress but I got through Desert Infinite wave 16 with it, so I was pretty happy with it. This is all pre-patch though, so I probably will have a lot of re-configuring to do, though I do love my overhangs with under mounted MGs. So I'll probably keep a similar look and build vertically to account for more hellfires, 306, and that new missile thing.
    The thing I really like about my base is, even though its manual for a lot of the reloading, its actually very ammo efficient cause of my configurations on my turrets, so each autoloader might need 0-2 ammo packs on a run around the base depending on how pressured my base is.

      It was a great base I loved the MG's :) I enjoyed taking a look at it. I didn't check how you had it configure but That's a good thing to start trying to look at. Interesting to see that kind of detail. I'm guessing the tower configs get imported as well?
      Sounds like a awesomely balanced base :)

    I'm really glad you liked it, thanks for your feedback.
    We don't often see open bases because it simply limits the space to place turrets, I think.
    For the next one, I'll try to keep this open spirit but take advantage of the new update and the changes on the inclined planes.
    My hope is that one day we can place the turrets on the walls so we can use large walls.
    - The conveyors in front of the mechas are just cosmetic, I haven't checked if they have any influence.
    - For the pillars, it looks like mechas don't fit but it's okay, they come out fine.
    Due to the lack of space and the necessity of the pillars, I left them as they are.
    - Their forward ejection is cool, that's what I built the base around.
    - The generators are on the ground floor with the batteries + on the core.
    - The back part with the rooms is indeed a bit empty, I was thinking of adjusting the size or changing an entire floor to store more batteries and crates.
    - Yeah, quite a few windows for the light, there will be even more on the next one, in Satisfactory I put them everywhere.
    Space management could be more optimized. I'll make the next one more meticulously.
    The main problem is that I started building this model without resources and once it was functional, I took a break from the game and farming XD.
    I'm really looking forward to the update to see the possibilities and push the open concept to another level (keeping the idea but with more turrets and more nice things ).
    For the vanguard edition :
    What I did once was delete a game to buy it again in another edition.

      Thank you for your detailed comment! Here are some thoughts:
      Open Bases and Turret Placement:
      You're right, open bases can limit turret placement. I’m excited to see how you’ll incorporate the new update and changes to inclined planes. It would be great if we could eventually place turrets on walls to maximize space.
      Conveyors in Front of Mechas:
      Even if they’re just cosmetic, they add a nice touch! It’s these details that make the base unique.
      Pillars and Mechas Fit:
      It’s good to know the mechas fit fine despite the pillars. Sometimes, compromises like this are necessary.
      Forward Ejection Design:
      Building the base around the forward ejection is a cool idea. It’s great to see how gameplay mechanics can influence design.
      Generators and Batteries Placement:
      Your placement strategy sounds solid. Adjusting room sizes or adding floors for more storage is a smart move.
      Windows for Light:

    im curious on the overall power and core nerfs that were seeing in alot of new builds

      Maybe its a time factor as it takes so so long to build them in the current patch? Or maybe cause many of the builds are more realistic without 100's of hours spent. Also keep in mind this are bases sent to me so I haven't gone and looked at the 3-5 millions bases floating around. But not so sure really. What do you think it might be ? Maybe a combination of it all?

      @SiNKiLLeR_ personally I made a few starter bases at end game with all the power and core done so if I want to start over I copy and rebuild from there. But I will say the initials were probably 3 hours each. Allot of these builds are higher power levels then mine even but I'm way higher power etc. No issues either I just have to ranger kill Kronos for safety. Big thing for me currently is I am only running 1 406 cannon. That's obviously gonna change with the patch. Gonna boost me allot on power levels lol.

      hanks for sharing your experience! It's impressive that you've set up starter bases for the end game with everything ready to go. Investing those initial 3 hours must really pay off when you want to start fresh quickly.
      It's interesting to hear about your higher power levels and how you manage safety by taking out Kronos with a ranger. The 406 cannon is a beast, and I bet adding more with the patch will definitely give your power levels a huge boost. Can't wait to see how your setup evolves!

    I do love this, but I've been struggling to find mid game farming base/how many of each materials we need to make these imported bases? I feel like anything I import i'm WAY off in terms of even the most basic tiles.

      Thats a good point. We need a video covering the early game and mid game bases along with import codes. Not sure if ill get to this one but ill see how it goes.

      @@SiNKiLLeR_ Yea I just walked into city 1 for the first time and got my ass handed to me in the final extraction missed it by 10 second just trying to avoid the boss/energy guys. When the same base breezed thru snow 3/4

    Agreed if i could purchase the premium and upgrade it I would. Its just not worth to regrind everything

      I don't think we would have to regrind everything. We could use our current save file from my understanding. But the trouble is how do we get the premium version without a new account. I'll try the web and see what it yields.

      If you bought the game on steam you can just buy the premium version, and your save will just auto transfer, but you're buying the game twice, there should be an upgrade

    Why do you say that damage amplifier increases ammo intake? I couldnt find any information if thats actually the case.

      This is a quote from the legend Obi-Wun
      Increases the damage of nearby turrets and guardians. Limit of 10 per turret. "Counterattack ready."
      Damage Amplifiers boosts turrets by 30% of their base damage. This comes at the cost of an undetailed 10% increase in ammunition consumption and you can only connect up to 10 per turret.
      They link to all turrets except for 105mm class of artillery. They prioritise linking to the closest turret that was first place, although a little inconsistent.
      Additionally, Damage Amplifiers can be interacted with to reduce the firing interval of your operative's XEN. The effect is similar to Tiger Squad's skill with 'Mass Heat Dissipation' and will decrease all XEN cooldowns by 30s. It costs 2 power from your outpost and the device has a 120s cooldown.
      In-game, the weapon magazine display shows only whole numbers, but in reality there are decimals tracked.
      They round up as soon as the decimal reaches/goes over 0.5
      therefore:
      2 ammo cost turret @ 1 damage amp (10% increase ammo cost)
      Original ammo cost (tracked ammo cost)
      [magazine deduction]
      2 (2.2) -> 4 (4.4) -> 6 (6.6 ≈ 7) -> 8 (9.2) -> 10 (11.4) -> 12 (13.6 ≈ 14)
      [2] -> [2] -> [3] -> [2] -> [2] -> [3]
      Theoretical ammo cost: 13.2, real ammo cost: 14, additional ~5% undocumented cost.
      So there is a slight (significant*) loss of ammunition when using damage amps when decimals are involved. Real ammo cost would end up being slightly above stipulated 10% increase per amp (maybe 15%).
      *Optimal use for Damage Amplifiers will be to use enough to make the ammo cost a whole number (10 amps will always be a whole number because it is just x2)

      If anyone can disprove me, feel free. My methodology is iffy at best, this is only from observation in combat trials.

    How are you finding all these bases? Ive been grinding alot the last few days and quickly out growing my bases very quickly. Need bases for inspiration but most of them are using the glitch which i dont plan on doing atleast not extensively. Shame the the glitch is required for those really beautiful bases though, wish they would give us alittle more control. Im not a huge fan of blocky square bases. Thinking once i unlock ATC 10 im gonna try make some sort of tank build. Something sleek.

      My base, featured here was no glitch. Though I do think something tank like will be quite hard with no glitches, as some stuff just doesn't like getting placed on ramps. Wish you luck though! I don't have the creative juices for something like that.

      @@SiNKiLLeR_ aye, ive been checking the discord there arnt many that i enjoy, but i think thats down to how the devs designed the game, everything is too right angley. I got ATC 10 today so im trying to put my spin on sampsas sabertooth design without forcing any glitches where i can help it.
      Side note i hope the devs resize mech docks seems like a huge waste of space trying to adjust for that god damn antenna. Spent hours rejiggling it around and my mech bay is becoming more of a pain then id have liked. Also wish we could get a light buff with supports nothing is peeing me off more then that 1 tile down the center where the supports just dont reach it.

      @@Fissiccisst1 there are plenty that dont, just annoying that the best designs use them. wish we had more flexibility in the game to make some stunning and creative designs without forcing the game to do it for us.
