If anyone still plays on the 360 come to GTA before the days of oppressor Mark 2 is gone forever. That's why I still play the 360 because GTA still maintains its identity in that generation well the xbox one version just feels like saints row. And now rockstar is kind of forcing us to play that version which isn't great.

@@WillOnCode Cuz God of War, persona 5, ghost of Tsushima are literally the reason why PS4 dominates the gaming community, ofc is not powerful than PC but those game are legendary and can only be played on PS4. Same with PS5, spider-man, Horizon 2 and FF16 and FF7 remake part2 limited time. I think it depends what kind of game that you like, if you only played fps and multiplayer game, PC is the best platform no exceptions, but if you like RPG, story-driven and especially JRPG, then PS4, PS5 is the best solution. And that's the problem for Xbox series X cuz they have no exclusive which means if you have a PC you don't need series X anymore but you somehow still need PS5. That's why PS4 won this generation. But Microsoft notices how importance exclusive is so they bought lots of the first-party studios to make future games, let's see how that will turn out.

@@lucifergames4295 Let me explain this a little bit and I'm glad you can ask me politely, I only mentioned the game that also popular in the west (Persona 5, God of war, FF7 remake, TLOU, Ghost of Tsushima). But PS4 has way more games than Xbox in RPG in general. First of all, I'm Chinese, and in China, RPG with an awesome story, anime culture, character development is always the main reason why people love games in Asia, and there're tons of anime games and JRPG that are exclusive on PS4 or is time exclusive and later on PC. So for this reason, Asia already sold on PS4 (That's why if you look at the sales, PS4 literally dominates Asia but Xbox can only get a decent sales in America). And MOST IMPORTANTLY, yes, Xbox one X is powerful than PS4 Pro with real 4K, but again as I said before if you have a PC, you don't need an Xbox since most of the game on Xbox can also be played on PC and since PC is the most powerful platform so people will just buy it on STEAM or Epic store which lead to the success of PS4 cuz literally 50% of the game on PS4 is either completely exclusive or time exclusive. Powerful isn't everything, but with connections and services are way important. Is a bit long but I hope you can understand.

Both the PS4 and Xbox One’s specs had me worried about being underpowered from day one, when they brought out the mid generation refreshes I was hoping the biggest focus would be an upgraded CPU but they went with the GPU instead. Yes I know they sped up the clock speed but that’s not good enough for an anemic CPU on both sides.

I will never stand corrected. Had Don Mattrick had more taste and respect when he presented x1 in 2013 its hardware and cost would have been way more accepted.
Granted, they settled on someone to head the company who did not see gaming as the sole focus. I never want to see the company in that way ever again. Two years later and things were getting back to established roots and heading in the right direction.

The X was the only Day One console I have bought for myself (As the Wii was for my son years prior). I, honestly, see no reason to grab either Next Gen console this year. NOT ONE game (in my opinion) has that "I must spend $500/ $600 to play this NOW" feel. And (like many WORKING ADULTS), I have an X, Pro, Switch and PC... so quite a few "backlogged games" remain to be played.
And even if you have one or two interests in the upcoming Xbox Catalog... if you have Ultimate- there is a better than good chance it will be there for PC, X, or even streaming on XCloud.

Am debating with myself cuz I have the xbox one there is something now called forward compatibility so I'll be able to play Xbox series x games and I find the quality and speed pretty good if I buy the xbox series x I'll get better quality and speed but if I get the ps5 I get new game play with different people and get improved speed and quality but not as much as the series x

I'd say yes, the load in times and overall performance is literally much faster and the smallest details are more fluid and crisp. I just got rid of my Xbox One X today and bought a series X from Target. Series X even starts up much faster than my One X. If you can upgrade, do so. The One X has also been recently outdated so no more refreshes for that console.
No, they all play the same games. The series x just plays them faster. Who cares for 500$ or whatever it is
Absolutely. You get way faster load times in addition to Quick Resume, you get double sometimes triple the frame rate with 120fps support, you get Ray tracing in many games, and there are a number of games coming out now that you won't be able to play on your One X.
I got my Xbox One in 2014, and the OS is the same for both the Series X and One, so it continuously felt like a modern console, still does imo. The only problem I'm running into now is that new games being made don't work on the One like Robocop. I wish I could just get a lower resolution version of the game and still play, I don't want to pay microsoft more money to get the same feeling and experience that I'm currently getting. If they changed the dashboard, or made the community tab a focus again instead of a tacked on afterthought shoved down to obscurity, I would absolutely buy it. But it just looks and feels exactly the same as the One so I cannot justify to myself to purchase it
The hardware in your console is going on 11 years old this year. In order for tech to improve, we need to move on from those older systems. You can sell it for $100-150 (helps if you have physical games with it) then you can get a Series S for $250 which will play all of the latest games and will be supported with AAA games for the next 4-6 years.

The Xbox One's CPU and GPU weren't that big of a step up because they wanted to implement cloud computing. Then everyone got upset about the always online aspect. Now everyone wants to try out X Cloud, which is always online.
Because this time they didn't try to shove it down your throats... Online and xcloud had always been on their minds... Now XSX is just to have a place in the physical console place and use it to push xcloud... Gamepass also part of this effort

DownrightSuperb - Well, I can only speak for myself and say that (1)I no longer buy consoles on day one. Actually, I am a generation behind in that I just now picked up an XBOX ONE X, due to limited disposable income and a lesser desire to buy video games upon release. (2)I did not pay $500 for a home console. I paid about $349 for my (new) XBOX ONE X. (3)People’s situation changes. We have no control over the outcome of the pandemic, our jobs, and other areas of our lives, so it’s possible that a person once had WiFi, but due to unforeseen and unavoidable situations, having that luxury has not become a liability. (4)I am in the belief that if I purchase a $60 game, it should be complete, free of A and B type of bugs, and should not be reliant on an internet connection unless it is ones of those games like Fortnite. If I am playing a game like Forza, for example, I should not have to be connected to a WiFi connection just so I can play in single player mode. That’s just silly and very restrictive. (5)I still love the plug & play aspect that the home consoles use to offer. I am not a PC gamer, so being able to play a game and not worry about compatibility and internet connection was what got me into gaming in the first place. (6)Up until the XBOX ONE X, I buy and support games for all systems I own, however with the industry headed in the direction it’s going, I cannot see myself still supporting an, always online, gaming scenario where in order to play my game, I have to always have my console connected to a network.
I appreciate where we are with technology and where it is going, but with gaming in general, I may jump ship depending on how this upcoming generation handles game genres like side scrollers, racing games, RPG’s strategy games, arcade games, and compilations. Those are genres I love and if I cannot play my game without needing to be hooked up to the Internet, I will drop support.

One thing xbox will always have over playstation is that no matter how many consoles get released after xbox series x, I can always play my favorite games without them having to be remade or buy the same thing again

@@cherryboy7359 if you want to get technical the PS5 has support for every PS5 and PS4 game, whereas the Xbox series X has support for every Xbox series and One titles. The 360 is less than half and the OG Xbox titles like less than 10%. So in reality while the Xbox has a superior lineup of BC that goes back to the OG Xbox (whereas the PS5 doesn't), It's deceptive that there's people that say the Xbox has full BC with all xbox consoles (which i wish it would have, that would be amazing).

I gotta say, running both side by side, If you still use the One X You're good. The One X Holds up real good next to the Series X. I would only upgrade if you are stuck with the One S or the First Xbox One model.

I hope they deliver this gen because I don't wan to be a wrap for them if it's not( which the non-conscious fanboys want them to fail and die) I can't imagine a world that run by only sony mindset of gaming because let's think about this folks, compare to the other gen this gen mainly they basically erase the possibility of seeing 1st multiplayer classics making a comeback. We had Twisted Metal( which the 2012 reboot deserves a sequel this time bring back real car manufacturers again), Socom in which I keep hearing the same stories over and over & we still receive the same result, Warhawk, mag(well that game had massive amount of problems, killzone ( since they are now focusing the horizon franchise), mod nation racers and plus there is other classics that outside the multiplayer centric realm which their stories may reach a end around the ps3 life cycle or never manage to gain another sequel to prove themselves they are worthy to stay with the brand like Jak, Sly Cooper, Bloodborne(due to sony not understanding that both fromsoft and the fans want another game), The Getaway. Everything have to be either singleplayer centric or cinematic centric scripted story based games. The same could be said to Microsoft with their endless supply of multiplayer games in which most of them failed reception wise this gen by critics but still manage to find some success which is odd, but Microsoft are acquiring studios and talent to build potentially great ip which are mainly free through gamepass( which you still have to pay a small 10 to 15 dollar fee per month) and they brought back Fable and I hope the gameplay combat wise possess the same camera angle and play style like the soul games( not sitting at check points), a story that is like Zelda and make a revived Jack of Blades like mature rated Ganon, and world that filled with interesting activities and interesting quest/characters like what Mass Effect, Witcher, and Skyrim brought to the table.
And I hope they even revive more classics on top of that from their library of ips and even potentially acquire ones that desperately need a sequel or reboot that their original devs don't bother to make them great again: Ninja Gaiden, Left4Dead, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, DOA( well the name tells it all especially with the new team ninja did with the series), & Splinter Cell.
I realized that we waste most of our childhood playing games, and bot living our life to the fullest

Concerning games... You must be joking. Avowed, Hellblade 2, Stalker 2, Fable are not games? What are the talentued studios bought by Microsoft are doing? Playing chess and tennis ? Your actual gen narrative about the games on Xbox is boring and obsolete. You need to upgrade. Each gen of consoles is different.
Both care about power and Xbox don't really do much with the extra power in xbx over ps

i could not care less of load times. wait a minute is not an isue for me. we are not talking of a commodore datasette or a 5 1/4 inch disk load times here. having to pay 3 times the price for storage ? no thanks. i would prefer save on price and wait a few seconds. my xbox one x is fine to me even my xbox one s. theres no console exclusives for now anyway... 120 fps ? you need a 120 hz to use its potential. games all play on the old gen for now. it sure is a nice system but im not thrilled like some are. yes i will get it but i know very well i could live without it right now because all games do work on current gen for now.

Lily Mitchell Disk read noise. I read somewhere that 4K discs spin a lot faster than standard Blu ray, but the X is so loud I end up having to turn TV up. If series X comes with a near silent drive it would be great

You know what you just made a good point I am very concerned myself I preordered the xbox 1X Ceres September 22nd at 2:00 in the morning at gamestop lined up and I don't know I'm gonna keep my preorder I might just cancel because I already owned the xbox 1X and I feel like it's not gonna be a huge jump except for the 60 frames per 2nd and the loading time that's about it
