These were the days before fun was outlawed, before passion fell out of fashion, and people were still natural human beings. When people attack 80s hair, I always disagree, was truly... fun. Just to match the era, plus when people wear 80s clothes today, it’s always missing something, THE HAIR! the clothes itself was pretty big and colorful so the hair always evened out. I don’t get truly how someone wouldn’t want super fluffy crimped perm and with a bunch of hair accessories. It was about having fun back then not “looking good”
Dont understand why people make fun of 80's hair? We loved being creative and showy back then. Guys and girls liked to show off in a fun way, and making your hair look wild was part of that overall good feeling we had about ourselves and the culture. These days, it seems like people want to be withdrawn and anti-social and their stupid boring hair reflects that loser mentality.
46 here and i have NOT stopped playing all my 80s jams from New Wave, Oldskool Hip Hop, Freestyle, Love Jams, Hair Metal Rock, etc. all 80s nothing more, nothing less every single day for the past 35+ years! Nobody says nothing when i play my amazing decade everyday at work because it's incredible muzik that everybody enjoys! You never hear a new 90s club opening ever here in LA. But you always here a new 80s club opening evey year because it was a magical decade like no other. Everything from clothing, tv, sitcoms, game shows, movies, video games/arcades, sports, music, cartoons, food, commercials, toys, technology, school, playing outside, friends and just growing up as a kid with no worries in the world! I lived it, i EXPERIENCED it and will forever cherish it till the end of my time! 🥹
The eighties was the best era ever. We went out more and socialized without all the gadgets we have now with laptops and smart phones. Life was simple and straight forward. Songs were sung with the heart, passion and love from the artist. Very glad I grew up in this great time and feel sad for the newer generation, who can't appreciate how our lives were truly free back then. Now I'm 62 and can't believe how time has flown by.

13 years old and in the 8th grade. This was right before entering high school. The 80s were a phenomenal time for music. You can tune into the radio and have great songs back to back to back. Without all of the crass and vulgarity that's pumped out today.

When i was a teen boy i used to be sleep with the radio turned on and once in the middle of the night this song woke up me, and when openning my eyes i sawing my room full of moon light, everything was quiet the time seemed stopped, that was a really awsome and magical moment, 30 years since then and when i hear this song i still feel the magic of that unforgetable 80´s night

The 80's is just wonderful, nowadays, the kids doesn't need to run to the record store just to buy a copy of any artist and not to mention that you have to fight your way just to get one, they just have to search and download it through the internet(really kinda boring). If you ask me, I still prefer our way and wouldn't exchange it for anything.

What a stunning voice and this whole band are one of the gems from the best era that I had the priviledge to discover as I grew up through the 70s and 80s, what memories we have, they will never be repeated.
