Wow, Burnout 3 would hit quite different if it had that first person camera during crashes. I'm sure the impact time screams were in part inspired by Thrill Drive, aside from horror media.
Knowing that the Impact Time screams were planned to be even more horrifying from what a beta build included (which fits with the darker previews of the game before release), they clearly were looking forward to lean towards that horror direction similar to Thrill Drive until that and the tone of the game got changed.
some of the screams you hear are actually from thrill drive i think.. same with some of the siren sound effects you faintly hear in some of the impact time sounds
If Thrill Drive ever a thing, I want it to adapt Burnout 3 mechanics with WMMT progression card. It sounds fun. Come on Konami, make this happen and don't make another pachinko machine.
this will never come true, unless we become indie game developers, to cast these type of games. Those people working with Konami, and Electronic Arts Games, are just gr33dz, they only care about $$$, if something doesn't make $$$, they will sweep those IPs under the rug forever, unless some other company, acquires them. Don't bother asking for getting back to obscure games, they will not going to heard us...
