This thing looks better than most SEMA builds and yet it will be much more capable and functional! Great job!!!
@@richball9576 thanks!! We will have to bring it out and see how capable it is!
This is 100% the best build you have ever done.
Anyone ever done! Lol
You seriously have my kind of taste. You cut zero corners and make everything 1 off. Definitely an original creator. You can tell this guy pictures a big vision at the beginning of builds.
Love the digital gauges
@@WorkingOnRocks thank you!! I do get picky at times 🤣
This has got to be the most in depth build I’ve ever seen. Like you’ve fixed, I provide, changed, modified, literally everything. Definitely look forward to it being “done” and seeing how it performs off-road.
@@StormbornJKU thanks! Yea I went a little deep on this one 🤣
Just wanna tell you man, I appreciate the quality of your videos and the fact that you rarely curse is very refreshing! Keep it clean man and keep up the good work! Love this channel
@@THE_Tyler_Rogers thank you!!
Austin, I love your intention to detail, everything is always so tidy with your builds. Plus, it makes for a great running rig, no matter what you've done. You may have a hiccup along the way, but you figure it out and address it. Great work, I'm super excited to see you drive this Beast! That V-8 is gonna make ya never do a smaller engine, HaHa!😂
@@allenhorne7032 thanks!! Yes the v8 sounds sweet, but I do still love a good slow 4 cylinder haha
real example of hard work pays off! well done 🤙🏼
@@krose.rjoe_222 thank you!
This thing is so freaking SICKKK!! I’ve been watching you since the first truck! Keep yourself going and don’t let yourself get burned out! After 50 things just seemed like I have to force myself to do projects no matter how small?! Cannot wait to see this thing completely finished?! What’s next on the list of projects for you??🤔
@@kflo1219 thank you!! I hope I can build trucks forever!!
itching so bad to swap my 80 series with an LS. Sounds great and going to be a beast.
It's really crazy... I can't wait to see Black Panther roaring on the streets. Your workmanship is truly extraordinary, brother. keep watching from afar in Indonesia.
The facial expression on first back fire was priceless 😅 glad to see it running though
The FJ sounds absolutely amazing Austin.
I know that you are getting excited and looking to the finish.
We all share your excitement.
Keep up the good work.
@@tomsloger4073 thank you!
I hope one of your sponsors can get you a booth in SEMA, this is a real SEMA build, no shortcuts, just pure wrenching and grinding...no 1 fan from Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪✌️✌️
@@murymih that would be awesome! And thank you!
Your work is freaking legit! When you are ready to sell the 4Runner I call first dibs. 3rd gen 4Runners are my favorite body style. Not to mention they’re built like a tank.
Slow as a tank too
If you want something fast you go get a sports car not a 4Runner.
@@Surfin4clues I know that haha. I have a 1st gen Tacoma and I still love it even though it’s slower than molasses.
@@NoRodnoReel mine is too but it almost classic vehicle territory right now!
@@Surfin4clues yessir!
Dude you're making this better then Toyota did ! Lol love the build. Good seeing you last weekend! You're always welcome at the resort
Holy smokes! After a long winter and spring, the beast is now on fire and can finally burn the road! Well done, Austin!
Love this build Austin ❤
I find it mildly amusing that many of the problems you had are the same I had on my Jeep 65 build 😆
Watching you is so great! You are such a cool builder. Everything you've built is exactly how each of your viewers wish they had the time, money and talent to build. Keep up the great work!!
What. A. Great. Build!
I was stoked (as you would say) to hear this beast running!
Finally it's coming to it's completion.
You're attention to details and perfection is on the highest level. Keep it up mate!
Can't wait to see and hear this run.
The work this guy does, and for me,especially on toyotas,is absolutely unparalleled!! Jesus,I wish he was my neighbor. Great work man,no bs.
Austin...congrats on that first start! That thing is a beast! this project of yours is coming along really good! Cheers from Portugal!
Sounds great ! Love the build! That engine sounds rowdy
@@scottblake6850 thanks! Let’s see how it moves haha
@@austinniemela oh it's going to be a ripper ! Can't wait to see it go wheeling
@@austinniemela oh n you did a hell of a job building the Fj so badass dude
Major milestone in this build! Sounds awesome!!
@@KH102695 thanks!!
Awesome job. Can’t wait to see you take it to the trail. I must admit I will hate seeing when this fj is finished.
I was wondering about the fan running. Getting close. Congrats!!
@@edmartini9724 thanks! Yea gotta figure out the fan!!
When cranking the first time to pump up the oil pressure just push pedal to the floor. This enables flood clear mode. Shuts off fuel injectors. So not spraying fuel into the cylinders. Also no need to leave out spark plugs if you don't want to.
A lot of techs do not know this. If you take a loose seal on the inside, there is a spring that spring comes apart by twisting the thikes part, then you shorten the spring and reassemble that will make the seal snuggle on the shaft. 😊
I have been following you for years, love the longer videos
I wish that these sorts of builds were road legal in Australia. I cannot wait to see how this thing handles off road!
CONGRATS AUSTIN! I've been looking forward to your updates every week for 1 year+ now waiting for this moment! I love it!
The motor sounds amazing!! Great job Austin.
Saya dari Indonesia, saya mengikuti mobil ini dari sejak awal dibangun. Keren!
Outstanding and awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
I appreciate that you keep challenging yourself. New ideas and new builds. Keep up the great content Austin!
@@jacobboone7994 hey thanks man!
Incredible build !!! Watching this from Schweitzer Mountain in Northern Idaho 👍🏼
This is the summer blockbuster I was waiting for
State Trooper Austin. Dude I love this build series
It really sounds good, looking forward to seeing you drive it.
Man, how exciting! Not even my truck and I was cheering 😊 it looks so great.
I've been watching since the beginning had some car buddies of mine scoff at the rock crawler idea but I think this thing is bad ass! Good job man!
So stoked to hear this beast run!!! Congrats on ALL of your hard work!
Sounds great really good to having it running🇦🇺🇦🇺
Looks and sounds great! Thanks for documenting all this for us!!
Holy shit man I literally started clapping and howling when that thing started up!!! Hell yeah brother sounds mean as fuck!!!
@@VS666 yes!!! Thanks man!!

Fluid can seep behind the splines on the t case sometimes rtv on the splines and washer behind the nut

Such a good job! Best of everything for you.
Brilliant...I'm a huge Toyota Fan...Love to this...
I thought you were going to put a snorkel on it.. by the way it sounds freaking Good
This build is unreal! Can’t wait for you to enjoy it!
Don't forget to tighten up your 4-link bolts. Pretty sure I saw a washer rattling as it was running.
Yes .......Yes it runs finally Well done , as the previous dude says SEMA quality baby happy for you lets see it perform now ...
Awesome build bro
Yup. You just got nominated for the coolest rig on the block.

Great , greetings from Germany .. Wunderfull Stuff.
Congratulations Austin ❤
Sounds badass
Huge moment for sure....great work as usual!!
Awesome job dude
Killer mustache, Bro!
Wow. My heart sank when it backfired and died. On the video it sounded mechanical. Super happy it was nothing serious. I bet your heart was in your throat at that moment. This FJ is tits! 😅
In your video I saw a loose rear right upper link bolt on the diff. Washer was loose while it was running.
$ounds great! Love the V8 sound!
Baddest Build yet Austin~
I cannot agree more with you. It sounds freaking amazing! Do you have any plans for the rear bumper or you will leave it like this? It looks kind a strange to me.
@@marinmarinov1020 thanks! Yeah I’ll build a rear bumper
Great job my friend, I wish you success
Well Done Austin 👏
I dont use 3 piece an fittings because of leaks 2 piece more forgiving.
Hell yeah brother sounds amazing my favourite build u done so far love this truck sounds awesome 👌
Woooo congrats man! She sounds as good as she looks as well 👌
Excellent work! I love this channel!!
That's so awesome, congratulations
It surely will run
rebuild wholeheartedly
Hi @austinniemela, how do you go drilling through the plasma cut holes so easily? they get hardened in the cutting process and it usually just destroys drill bits?
Crazy question? How about rear fenders?
Well done 🙂👍
Awesome build!!!!!
Awesome job!!! Thanks!
Coolest build ever
Austin are you ready to sell it?........ Just joking 4 link 40's and tons sure makes my trail master ifs on 38's obsolete how things progress for the better over thirty plus years.... purchased alot from NWOR. ...back then so impressed with all your builds you have such a great handle on all aspects of your projects keep it going 👍👍
